I have used Chem Dry for all of my rugs since I moved up to the Rutland area 10 years ago with great satisfaction. This is the first time they have come to the house to clean sofas and again I couldn’t be happier. They arrived early throwing their own towels on the floor to clean off their feet before walking into the house. The sofas they worked on turned out beautifully and really brought them back to life. I also would like to comment on their good judgement when packaging up the carpets they were returning after cleaning on this trip, as well.  There were creases in the biggest carpet because of how it had been stored and even though it was harder to handle they chose to roll rather than fold back up along those lines. Thank you!!!  Love the common sense!  They are very conscientious and take pride in knowing the details of their work. They are always professional and a pleasure to work with.

It was an excellent experience from the first phone call to when my carpets were done. Tanya at the office is so pleasant and accommodating and Gary who performed the service was wonderful. Arrived on time, so nice and personable, great job! I highly recommend!!

Since 2022 you have processed 2 orders w/ us - zero issues on either order. Yet no review for doing the best job we can. (You did you’re job- that’s standard, three stars)
Full story on your 3rd order: our wonderful partners at Laundry Spa didn't remind you of our business being close from 7.21 to 7.25 for equipment upgrades. So we picked up on your order, along with many others and they could not be processed until 7.28 at a minimum. Hence why we communicated that to our drop sites 6+ weeks prior to the closure. (Then blame is on your great partners, got it)
We quickly processed your 2 items on 7.28 and had them ready for return delivery.(false, you didn’t know where they were until yesterday afternoon when I called and asked what was happening, only because your great team kept hanging up on their great partners while I waited at their counter so they just gave me your business name and number because they didn’t know what else to do)  You then chose to drive over from W Leb to Rutland to pick them up because of your schedule (which is why I dropped them off two weeks ago - because my wife had a big work trip. I guess I should have planned on three weeks to get basic dry cleaning done) Yes, we charged you our standard price for processing but we did NOT charge you any rush fee (cool thanks?) I apologize that our needed business closure was not communicated to you as it would have been if you were an in-store customer. We didn't make you drive over (okay mom 🙄 but I needed those suit coats and you couldn’t deliver them to your partners so yeah, drive over or what? Buy new suit coats?) We are sorry you chose too and to be upset with us about it (yes, I’m upset, I choose to believe this is being handled terribly by you - the owner) I do feel bad for your child, as I have one too. Long rides can be tough. But a business review isn't where to discuss that (it is when your business was involved in causing the long ride)
I have a wonderful, hard working team at Modern Cleaners and I am proud of the effort and work they do daily, in extreme conditions (I’ll have to look up what is intense in dry cleaning) I apologize that you not being aware of our down time caused you such strain, that you felt the need to give us 1 star. We hope you feel better (condescending much Karen? Why not call me and have a conversation, I would have probably taken down the review but you chose to clap back and be rude in your explanation and now it does make me feel better to give you a one star)

They are absolutely wonderful!!I brought down a comforter and two pillow covers on Friday (2/24) and I was quoted it to be done on March 15th but they said it could possibly be done sooner. I was quite surprised to receive a text message stating it was done (2/27) already! They are so kind and were incredibly helpful! Two people offered to bring it out for me and even though I declined, I appreciate it nonetheless! They are extremely professional and do a great job. I genuinely recommend them! They do way more than just dry cleaning! Thank you!

This place is a dump and half the washers and dryer are out of order! The whole "laundry card" thing is stupid, confusing and not necessary! I will never, ever, come back here!!!!! Still sucks!

Very expensive, and detergent dispenser wouldn't accept card. The whole prepaid card thing is really annoying for people traveling, because you end up with extra money on your card that's worthless.

I was really impressed with this laundromat. The 2 women working there went nonstop in cleaning everything; carpets, floor mats, table tops, etc. . .
They were also very helpful and polite when I asked questions about the different machines and how to operate them.  My only complaint would be that one has to use a specific card to pay, rather than just charging my credit card. Great experience for one who normally doesn’t use a laundromat!

Very expensive experience for 3 loads of laundry. Very clean and staff is kind. Laundry cards..? An unnecessary step to this process. However, my clothes came out very clean with no strange smells or clumps of someone else's hair. A very safe and comfortable place to peacefully do your laundry.

I have been doing my laundry here for almost two years. They set you up with your own card, you add money to it. Insert into machines...off you go. Don't understand something...staff is always willing to assist customers. Large loads are no problem. They have a washing machine that will do 75 lbs of laundry! Dryers come in various sizes as well. If you forgot to buy detergent and dryer sheets, they sell them there. They have fold service there as well. I believe they offer delivery as well. Very convenient. You get what you pay for. In my opinion, they are worth the expense. I will continue to patronize their business. If you are looking for local laundromat, I highly recommend the Clothes Basket.

It’s been years now since the last time I used this laundromat. I had used it religiously as it’s just down the street. One night, I had brought my clothes to do my laundry as normal. Came back to pick the clothes up and didn’t have everything. In this load, there happened to be a rather expensive piece of clothing. At the time of my arrival to get my clothes from the dryer, there were two individuals pulling clothes out of a dryer. I saw one of the items they had pulled was mine. I asked them if they had mistakenly pulled the wrong clothing. Denied it and threatened me. I contacted the owner who told me that he’d look into it. All these years later…nothing. If you don’t mind risking your things stolen with no owner responsibility, feel free to use this, “business.” I suggest you don’t. By the way, Jim, I’m still waiting for a response.

Poor start, walked into to the change machine out of order, multiple dryer out of order, forgot my detergent at home so went to use the coin detergent dispenser onsite paid for one soap nothing came out, paid for another and still nothing. Called the phone number and of course no answer, left a message no call back as of yet. Disappointing

I haven't even got to use the updated machines due to the fact the change machine would not except the $20 bill or a $1 bill. A gentleman told me that the machine has been taking the bills but will not dispense the quarters. So be aware of the change machine. it does not work properly.

1 yr later. Coin machine doesn't work still. You have only 5 dryers to use. The washers are the only thing that works well. Since change of ownership not much has changed. If you value your sanity and clothes don't use this laundromat. I did drop to one star. If I could give no stars I would.

I love the location of this laundromat, but unfortunately the "new" condition is going downhill fast because it doesn't seem to be properly maintained (in my opinion). Either way, It's not a bad place to stop, washers are priced fairly, dryers work well and I love that they have topload washers available; but it really needs some TLC. I recommend bringing your own quarters because the coin machines have a lot of issues, one has been down for weeks and the other is not accepting bills. The ability to use payrange is great, but only a handful of washers are set up for it and those few machines are usually really dirty. The soap dispenser is empty as well, this is the second time I've used it and it's taken my money without dispensing a product. I run a cleaning company, so I frequent the laundromat often and I've seen the condition gradually get worse over the last 6 months. All the areas that need improvement can easily be addressed, even with the negative listed above I'm giving 4 stars in hopes that it gets better in the future!

Most convenient location for me, but don’t go anymore because of lack of maintenance. Coin machines are broken, had a washer break mid load and force me to move my sopping clothes to another washer and pay for another cycle. Differed maintenance deters customers. Time will tell if this proves a winning business strategy.
