This is the nicest laundromat I've ever seen.  I have never lived by myself before and my apartment has no laundry I did not know how to begin doing laundry at a place like this. Fortunately, Dale guided me through it and was very friendly and helpful. I'm so relieved to have found this place and Dale! 10 stars!

I honestly absolutely LOVE this this location. It’s always clean and the owner and his brother in law really make it a wonderful place! The owner is incredibly easy to get ahold of it anything happens. His brother in law is often cleaning when we are here and he’s so so so kind!! You also have free WiFi and snacks at reasonable costs! Lastly you never ever have to worry about feeling unsafe! There’s cameras and they have someone paying attention to them, so knowing that if by chance I have to come alone, I know that I am pretty safe. And honestly if I ever felt unsafe here during the day, again the owner is easily reachable if there’s concern. We appreciate this place very much!

The facility is clean and safe.  WiFi available to their customers . Lounge area with snacks and  laundry items .. ie… detergent, dryer sheets .

Nice laundromat. I like that they have an option to get a card instead of having to just do quarters. It’s very clean and the people who run it seem nice

We have a 9 x 12 washable rug and this laundry mat is the only one in Knoxville that has a machine large enough as far as I know.  It is clean, easy to use and has been here forever!

Bluewater Laundry

I don’t know how this place has over 4 stars! It was dirty! Washers had fur and debris in them. The dryers had gravel and dirt in them. And even though I put the dryer on the lowest setting, it melted my scrubs!!!!! And clothes were so wrinkled straight out of the dryer! Terrible experience!!!!

Christmas at Bluewater Laundry!  They have 2 washers for 10 loads, 2 washers for 8 loads, 4 for 6 loads, and many smaller machines.  Plenty of dryers and seats. Several tables. Game machines, bathrooms, snack machines.  Very clean. The machines take credit cards.

Great place to do laundry. The attendant was constantly cleaning and keep the place looking good. Machines are sturdy and usable. The have three load types. Two loads, four loads and 8 loads. Good wall of dryers and change machines. I enjoyed my experience here.

Bluewater Laundry is far and away the best place to do laundry in Knoxville for these reasons:
1) The place is ALWAYS clean
2) The machines are always in working order
3) It's laid out very nicely with plenty of tables for relaxing, some video games and claw machines, ceiling mounted televisions everywhere, and lots of tables for folding clothes
4) Always clean restrooms, which are for paying CUSTOMERS only
5) Last but not least, there is ALWAYS an attendant present, which is great for me. April who works there is my laundry guru and always helps me no matter how silly my question might be. I have yet to meet an employee who isn't friendly and helpful.
I can't tell you how many times I've been to unattended laundromats where people will just wonder in and hang out or use the bathroom and leave. Bluewater is the only place that I will go to after dark because I always feel safe there. At others, I've had to bring my dog inside with me just to let folks know that I'm protected. I love this laundromat!!

By far the very best laundromat in the area!!! The machines take cards!!! They have some large machines that can handle 8 loads in one go which is SO nice to get it all done in one go. Dryers work pretty fast. The space is clean and has tables for my kids to sit and eat snacks! They have the most festive fun Christmas decorations up! This place makes me feel like I’m on a family outing instead of doing chores. So grateful I found this one!

Coin Laundry At Boyd's Creek

I was shocked at how well maintained this laundromat was. Clean, tidy, smelled good. I have not been to a laundromat in 15+ years. My washer decided to break and the technician is 3 weeks in on trying all kinds of parts to fix it. I Googled many places and I kept on going back to this one. It is 21 minutes from home, passed 2 others just to come to this one. It has free wifi, tables to sit at, soda machine, game machine, laundry product machine, Directv, restrooms, carts, folding tables and change machine. $2.50 for smaller washer, (I used smaller washer, 30 minute wash time) $4.00 for larger, $0.25 for dryers(based on how many minutes you want). 24 hour laundromat. I was the only one there on a Saturday afternoon. I will definitely come back if I ever need to again ! 5 stars! 🌟 ⭐🌟 ⭐ 🌟

I was able to get my laundry done, but ...

there was pee all over the toilet seat and floor in the restroom (which I wiped up), there were machines that weren't working but that weren't marked as out of order, and the dryers cost twice what I've paid at any laundromat on the East Coast - from FL to PA. When the washers got to going you shake in your seat at one of the two picnic-like tables.

There are three folding tables and several rolling laundry baskets. There is a change machine and a Soap Center machine. There is also an ATM.

There is an arcade machine with sound effects on a loop that will drive even the most sane person bonkers after an hour.

There is plenty of parking. There really isn't parking for medium to large RVs, unless you park across spaces if they're not busy.

There was not an attendant on duty.

Surely it would be a nice place if the people who used the facility actually took care of the place. Most of the washers have powder in the liquid spot because they can't read. They let their kids jump all over the tables with their dirty feet where clean laundry is supposed to be folded. They dump laundry soap on the floor and just leave it there. A literal mess to say the least.

Small, cute, and clean. It’s $2.50 per wash load in the small washers and a quarter for dryers. Has change machine, atm, soda machine, and Glaga. A few folding tables. But not open 24hrs.

I have only used this place once and it was definitely enough for me. Definitely won’t be going back.
The place was dirty and nasty, the washers were filthy. Floors were littered with paper and hadn’t been swept or mopped in no telling how long. The washers I used had to be cleaned before I could even use them.
Owners definitely don’t take care their business.
My advice, stay away, find some other place to do your laundry. Deserves a negative 5 star rating but scale doesn’t go that low.

Laundry Room Express

It is an okay spot to do laundry. I say this because the prices have changed but of course everything has gone up. To dry your clothes you have to put $1.00 in to start for 7 minutes. An additional .25 for 4 extra minutes. If you have a large load, you will have to add more quarters. I will say it is very clean.

I give this place 5 stars. I have read the other reviews and there must've been a shift in management or something. Every attendant I've seen has been friendly and respectful. My washer broke about 2 months ago and I have been coming here once a week since. Is it fancy? No. Is it clean? Yes. Do the machines work? Yes. Unless you are a dummy like me and didn't see the tape on the coin slot. 🤣🤣 Easy fix, moved to another washer. And as a bonus they have Coconut Water in the vending machine!! This will continue to be my go to. I have met some wonderful humans who just happen to be doing laundry when I was.

The laundry attendants are always so nice. Hate they don’t cares yet though

Broken washers all throughout the place. Look at coin slot first. If taped no good. Worker stood there and watched me put my clothes in before telling me it doesn't work. Next time I'll wash my clothes in a creek before I come here.

Farragut Cleaners

Went to drop off a pair of pants to get hemmed… woman behind the counter ask for my name and got visibly upset when she had to ask me how to spell my name…. After she filled the ticket out she said we will call you when it’s ready. I asked for a receipt so I had proof that I dropped them off… she said I will call you. I said no I need proof you have them incase you loose them or the ticket. Then she asked where I was from! Finally I was given a ticket but she wasn’t happy about it! Needless to say, I won’t be going there again.

Not a local, explained that in town for a family member’s death, and in need of next day dry cleaning. Farragut cleaners website advertises same day service (picture attached).

Staff said not available, and couldn’t have been ruder, including having “no idea” that the nearest dry cleaner to this location offers same day service.

The exact opposite of literally everyone else in this town I’ve met for three days, who have bent over backward to help a complete stranger.

Avoid.

Ruined a pair of expensive jeans. Assured me that the original hem would be preserved. Instead they chopped off the bottom, folded and stitched it now they look ridiculous. Beware.

I am not one to go out of my way and write a bad review but this is simply unbelievable. I dropped off plenty of things to get dry cleaned and when I picked them up I didn't think twice to check my clothing and make sure it was all okay. When I got home I tried on my dress (which I've had for 4+ years) and it was so small!!!!! It was unbelievably tight around my armpit area and clearly shrunk which is confusing to me because I've had it dry cleaned AND washed in the previous years and it always fit perfect. But secondly, I gave them my coat (which I've had for 3+ years) to be dry cleaned and the silver lining on the inside was ruined! It is now brown and falling apart. I called this store and was directed towards the main store and explained my situation and they told me, "well we didn't make your dress so we are not held liable for it shrinking." Upon which I responded, "I've had it dry cleaned before and it NEVER was this tight on me and I've had this dress for over four years." Which she goes to respond, "again we did not make the dress so we are not held liable". So I proceed to tell her about my coat and all she could tell me was to bring it in. I work EVERYDAY I barely had time to even drop these off and pick them up, let alone go into the store where I will be told that hey are not held liable for ruining my coat too. I'm extremely upset because that dress was very expensive and my father bought it for me as a graduation gift and now I'm unable to wear it. And my coat is now not as pretty as it used to be. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR CLOTHING. I just wish I could add pictures of how ugly my coat is on the inside.

I asked for heavy starch and they didn’t even use starch. The problem with the whole thing is the employee only cared about getting the money and didn’t even apologize for their quality. Don’t use them, attention to detail is sub par.  They look like a good business though but looks can be deceiving.

Lava Laundry Lavanderia

Lava Laundry Lavanderia is hands down the best laundromat in town! If doing laundry can be fun, this place has somehow figured it out. The machines are top-notch, the place is sparkling clean, and there’s just this positive, chill vibe that makes you almost *look forward* to folding your laundry (almost). The staff is super friendly, and I’m pretty sure the washers here are secretly giving pep talks to your clothes. If you want your clothes to come out fresh and your laundry day to feel like less of a chore, Lava Laundry is the place to be!

I meet the new owner he was really nice in came up in introduced him self I hope the laundry mat is a huge success for him I really enjoy going to this laundry mat it's reasonable in not high like the other laundry mat plus it always clean in the bathrooms are always clean for it guest I recommend this to anyone in east Knoxville looking for a place to do there laundry

Locally owned and managed! 10/10 everything is available in English and Spanish. Great people, clean place.

Very clean.  Good location and easy parking. We will use again.

There's always a washer open and the employees are very sweet.
