The staff at the North Kansas City office is extremely friendly and had a quick turnaround on the clothes whuxh is why I gave the
a 2. However the quality of the work was HORRIBLE. The blazers did not have a crisp finish. It looked like they were thrown in a washer and air dried.. it's absolutely the WORST quality dry cleaning I have ever seen. What's worst the shrunk my sweater which is a custom made sorority sweater. I would not recommend this place if looks your clothes are important to you.The cost was roughly $50 for 3 blazers and a sweater. I now have to take these items to a better cleaners to have them properly cared for.

I've made a few dozen trips, probably about 300 shirts cleaned and pressed. 99.9% success rate, and a couple shirts that needed to be ran through the system again. I've never had to wait more than a couple minutes for my cleaned shirts to be retrieved and rung up. Pricing is reasonable, with occasional discounts.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! I used to take my clothes to a different dry cleaner, but they kept breaking my buttons on very expensive shirts and then wasn't able to replace them due to them being custom made shirts. This place not only does an amazing job, but I have also never had a button come back broken. The staff is super nice and they are able to get me 25+ garments back within 2 days!! I always recommend this place to all my friends and co-workers.

It was fast but the lady at the counter said she heard a noise then bent over and stared at my laundry in the washer for about the last 5 mins then watched me pull it out of the washer. I showed her a larger zipper on a jacket that was making the slight noise and she walked away… just strange honestly.

This is by far the best laundromat I've ever been to. Very cheap prices and the washers are super fast. It's not the newest place... so there's no credit cards accepted, but the price and service is just too amazing to go anywhere else. Plus, this is a family ran business. They're so so kind! 💜💜💜

Came by to do laundry as I wait for my replacement washer and dryer to arrive. I honestly never liked laundromats, but this place was quiet, comfortable, and the employee at the desk was super nice and helpful. The machines didn’t take long at all! And compared to what others prices are like this was a great deal! Will be visiting again while I wait for my new washer and dryer.

The facility may be a little old but the owners usually keep it clean. This is a mom and pop laundromat and I prefer to do business with them instead of a chain store. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I'm disabled and they constantly go out of their way to help me. I can't count how many times they have helped me to my car with all my stuff. Also, every 13th wash load is free. Keep up the good work you guys!

The only place my fiancé takes his clothes. They do a great job and work with you to get the clothes finished asap. They red tag items that are priority. I had brought them 4 pieces of clothing around 3pm Friday and they had the items ready by 1pm Saturday which is extremely fast. They are very reasonable (we only paid $34 for 4 items) and they make sure they take care of your delicate clothing. We’ve never had an issue with anyone there. They get you in and out.

They always do good work. U can take stuff there and get it back the same day. But u have to get there early. I've never had a complaint with them. They've been around a long time. But if u need alterations, they send them out, so it might take some time.

I've been going here for over 15years, first they changed things from accepting credit/debit to cash only. Then when I went to pay a $49 cash with a $100 bill they say they don't have change.

I am in a wheelchair paralyzed from a waist down. I don’t have the ability to just run to a bank real quick to get changed because they don’t have two 20s and a 10.

I brought in My Son's suit to be pressed for an event that he has tonight.
Since I knew that it was a last minute thing, I was willing to pay more than double of what they typically charge to do it, Because I really needed it done. I asked the lady at the front counter, and she stated that they couldn't do it. I offered to pay her $50, and she declined. I was perfectly fine with that answer, and I was getting ready to leave. At this point Another lady came from the back and told me that "your money ain't gonna change nothing". I then explained to her that I was aware that I was asking for special service, but I was willing to compensate them for it. She then stated that "we are not driven by money here, and that don't mean nothing to us."

The way she said it to me was super offensive, because I was simply trying to pay them a premium for expedited services. She could've simply stated the same thing that the woman at the front counter did, and I would've gone on about my business. I've never encountered a business where someone told me that they weren't driven by money. What's the purpose of even being in business if you're going to do that?

I understood that I was asking for preferential treatment, but I was also willing to pay almost triple the amount that they ask for that particular service.

Instead of giving my business to the black owned company, like I wanted to, I ended up going over to Ross Miller which was about a mile away, and they had no problem with immediately taking care of my son's suit. I even offered them the same $50 that I offered this place, and they told me not to worry about it And charged me the regular rate.

Gines dry cleaner will never get my business, and that sucks, because I don't live anywhere near them, but I specifically drove there because they were black owned, and I wanted to support them. I hope this woman doesn't treat anyone else the way she treated me. I'll never set foot in that place again.

MegaWash Gladstone

The app might seem inconvenient, but it's actually way better than having to have quarters. I think they take quarters, too. But the app tells you when your clothes are done. Parking kind of sucks because the lot might be full, but the laundromat is not busy at all.

I've been here twice when my apartments washers are out of service, and both times were very pleasant. It's quiet and efficient. While it may seem expensive, it's only because of the washer prices, the dryers are VERY cheap. It evens out in my opinion, especially the amount you can fit in them versus most laundry mats.

My family uses this laundromat about once a month to wash big loads. Its the cleanest, most "worth the money" place to do your laundry in Kansas City. Even though we have a washer and dryer at home, we like to ease the amount of wear we put our machines by taking our big loads here. This place is quick, quiet, and staffed. ☆Shoutout to Paula☆, who went above and beyond when we had an issue come up while we were there last time.

I absolutely love this laundromat. It is my favorite laundromat. The store and the machines are very well kept. Their machines get my clothes clean compared to some other places. But to top it off, the people that work here are very kind and very accommodating. They’re very welcoming. I will keep coming back. :)

When we first started going to Mega wash it was a very well kept laundry. The man that owned it kept everything up and everything was kept clean. I hadn't been in there for several months and had to go in there today there are a lot of machines out of order there are things that need repaired there's cardboard over a place on the floor where there is damage. It is starting to get run down you can tell no one is doing maintenance on it. It's a shame that it's going downhill because it was a very nice place to do laundry

I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Arrow . After spending hundreds of dollars having bridal pearl buttons added to my wedding dress, I took my dress to Arrow for cleaning 2 months before my wedding  for cleaning per my seamstress’ recommendation. I’ll compliment that they finished cleaning my dress 1 month earlier than the expected date. However, when I picked up my dress, there was pilling on the fabric, an odd smell to the dress, and– worst of all– the sheen on my pearl buttons had been completely wiped and my buttons were scratched up. I was completely devastated.
Then began several weeks of back-and-forth with Arrow. My calls more often than not unanswered or I was told the person I needed to talk to was unavailable. Understandably, Arrow asked me to bring my dress back so they could look at the pearls themself. They told me to bring it any time that particular day, but when I did bring it shortly after that phone call, I was told I needed to leave my dress there because the lady I talked to had just gone on her break. I was told to expect a phone call from her that afternoon. I called back many times that afternoon, talking to a different person and having to explain why I was calling each time, and still received no answers that day or for the next week.
I spoke with Bee the next few weeks about next steps on my dress. A few times she mentioned that they may be able to monetarily help me buy replacement pearls. Because they were hundreds of dollars to replace, I did want to wait to see how Arrow was willing to help. But, Bee kept telling me that she needed to talk to her supervisor after each of our conversations. When I asked if I could come speak with the supervisor directly to avoid all the back-and-forth, I was shut down without reason. After two weeks of this, I was anxious and purchased replacement pearls on my own and scheduled my seamstress again to replace the destroyed pearls because my wedding day was nearing and I had no answers from Arrow on how they’d help. I finally got ahold of Bee and asked if I could come pick up my dress, she said “well of course, it’s your gown,” but then asked me to wait a few more days to come get it so she could take some more pictures of it for her supervisor (at that point, they had had my dress back for 2 weeks). I picked up my dress the following day and told Arrow I had bought replacement pearls– they were frustrated with me because they "had told me to wait” because the buttons needed to be approved by the supervisor. At this point, they also blamed me for the entire ordeal because I “didn’t tell them that I added the buttons” to my dress. I had figured that, being a company that prides themselves on bridal cleaning, they would be the experts in bridal materials and that I hadn’t been the first bride to ever add some other bridal material to her gown. When I picked up my dress, I was also devastated to find that there were new makeup stains on it from it being in Arrow’s care.
After continuing to call back and forth with Arrow, they were not even willing to refund the original $160 cost of my dry cleaning, but rather extend me a $100 “goodwill” that they claimed they were very kind to offer being how the damage to my dress was ultimately “my fault.” At that point, I told them that, given how I received my dress back with more stains on it (and still that weird smell!) than what I left them with, I at least required a $160 refund of my original cleaning. A week later, I finally received a call from Bee saying her supervisor had approved the $160 refund. Then, they proceeded to accidentally CHARGE me again rather than refund me, so they had to refund me the $160 twice. I understand mistakes like this happen, but that one felt like salt in the wound.
Luckily, with my replacement pearls and my seamstress, my wedding dress was still incredible and worth the unnecessary extra money I ended up having to put into fixing it, but I would hope that no other bride would ever have to go through this stress with their dress cleaner.

I had a great experience using Arrow to do my dry cleaning when I was in KC for a couple of weeks. I heard that they have been in the business for over 100 years so I had to try them! My clothes were picked up and delivered back to me with care. I will definitely use them again on my next trip there!

Impeccable service! Pick and delivery was seamless. If you live in the downtown KC area, this is the only place you should be getting your garments dry cleaned. As a first-timer, I will continue giving Arrow my business moving forward ☺

NEW CUSTOMERS DON’T BOTHER. Sent in a leather jacket that I thought might be restorable just to see what options were available, only to be told to “bring this back to whatever store you bought this from.” Aside from the rude tone, I wasn’t offered any real solution or even basic professionalism. Easy $30 lesson — and hopefully a helpful warning for others.

The prices are reasonable but customer service can be much improved. They don't even greet you or ask if you need anything else. While I appreciate the quick turnaround for dry cleaning, they don't make you feel welcomed or like they want your business.

There are two women who have been a really big and important help to me. I had my shoulder replaced Oct 1st. The one is a redhead and the other shorter woman with darker hair. One helped me unload my clothes and the other helped load my clothes when I picked them up. Really great people.

The Manager is awesome!  She is so efficient, super nice, knows the business, and knows her customers. Pride does a wonderful job with our clothing!!

Paid 52$ to have a suit and 2 suit jackets cleaned. Both jackets still had crud on the collars - basically just looks like everything got ironed. Very dissatisfied

It was probably my own fault for taking a leather vest to a dry cleaning shop to have patches sewn on. But I took pictures of exactly where I wanted them and sent the pictures with the vest. So they flip flopped 2 patches and the patch I wanted on the front of my vest they sewed my pocket shut, now I can’t use one of my pockets. If I would have known that I would have had them sewed it in a different spot. No one told me I would lose a pocket. I paid 259 dollars to have these put on. I would have thought sending pictures with the vest there was no way they could mess that up. And I wish someone would have contacted me before they sewed my pocket shut and explained to me I would be losing a front pocket.

They ironed a stain into my jacket without noteing it(after I had mentioned it).    I pointed it out again and they promised they could remove the stain, after returning the following day I was told “we can’t guarantee stains are removed” I was charged full price for ruining my jacket.

Update: they brought me back a third time and made it right, out a lot of time but appreciate the follow through

Less than one star!!
I dropped a shirt off here to have it cleaned and pressed and they lost it.  When I came back to get it the owner of the business told me he lost it and he didn't care. Didn't care how much I spent on it wasn't gonna give me my money back for it. He had the nerve to yell at me . Customer service is on a downhill slide I swear.   I know we don't have a lot of options in Kansas City, but please take your clothes somewhere else or you might not even get them back!!

I forgot that the suit I planned on wearing to a wedding had a stain. Took it to Rainbow Cleaners to see if they could remove it same day. The owner informed me that nobody was working today and he was just taking orders. However when he found out it was for a wedding he cleaned and removed the stain himself! Greatly appreciate the extra effort!!
