Over all this is a perfectly fine laundromat. It’s clean, enough space to sit and wait, plenty of tables to fold, and feels perfectly safe. However lately most of the washing machines have been broken, it seems like there’s two new broken ones along with the ones that were broken down the previous visit. Right now 5 machines have blue out of service signs, and one more that’s clearly not working with no sign. Those signs say they have been broken for about a month. When I first started coming here all the machines worked, no one ever had to wait. Just in the last two months I’ve seen other people get their laundry trapped in the machine, lost all their money to a broken machine and were not refunded. It would be so nice if we could get a regular maintenance person to come and fix them as they break so nobody has to sit and wait for loads to finish because there’s not enough washers!

Been doing laundry here exclusively for 3 years. Clean environment and good condition machines. Very rarely are there issues with out of order machines or coin exchanger.

Update: 6 years and still satisfied. I'm loving the new card payment option.

It's an older out laundromat and pretty clean but a lot of broken dryers and washers.

Very clean alot of large  washers for big loads and plenty of dryers.

Thus is the worst location.  Most machines are out of order.   Those still working don't complete their  cycle and left with a wet bundle.   No quarters in the machines .

Amherst Dry Cleaners

I live in Lynchburg, and when looking for a dry cleaner, the best around has only 3.7 stars. As I needed my only suit cleaned, I wasn't willing to risk ruining or losing it. That's when I found this spot 20 minutes outside town, and it was well worth it. Andy at the front desk was very respectful and got straight to the point. My clothes were ready the next day, and it was relatively inexpensive in my experience. One of the best dry cleaners I've been to, easily. Look forward to bringing my business back here!
