Clean Pression Dry Cleaner

OMG!!!!!! The BEST experience!!!
I brought in my beautiful $275 Eddie Bauer parka to be cleaned.  The collar was dirty with makeup and it just looked really dingy after lots of wear over the past 10 years.  I didn't expect much, just thought it could get cleaned up a bit.  Boy, was I impressed when I pulled it out of the bag!
I'm a fitness instructor, and I have worn this parka after teaching sweaty classes and I thought there was never going to be anyway to get it back to looking somewhat clean.
I was absolutely AMAZED when I took it out today and saw that the collar was sparkling clean, the entire coat look BRAND NEW just like I bought it 10 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!
Literally NO makeup markings on the collar anymore, and I wear a long wear waterproof makeup that has never come off of my coat collars.
I am so impressed, I am bringing all my other coats that have stains and makeup stained collars that I thought were just going to be there no matter what.

Based solely on the prior reviews, I decided to give Clean Pression an opportunity to validate their lofty standing. Wow, what a mistake.

First of all, I had no idea that they had to ship my coat to their Fayetteville location for cleaning------which obviously took additional time to process. More importantly, I was advised that it would be late afternoon (a week later) before I could pick it up, which resulted in a huge inconvenience.

Secondly, the wonderful and warm customer service which several previous reviews noted was nowhere to be seen. It seemed that their primary goal was to get me in and out as quickly as possible-----and that I was merely one more "number" they had to deal with.

Finally the cost of getting the coat cleaned and pressed was far, far beyond reasonable---------$35.00 versus the $23.00 I normally pay at my regular cleaners in Pinehurst.

Live and learn, I suppose.

I would give them a higher rating, but the 2 times I've used them, my shirts haven't been back when they said they'd be there. The 2nd time, they made it right by delivering them to my house. My shirts are clean and pressed exactly how I like. If they can fix the delivery time of my uniforms, they'd be 5 stars. They are a little pricey.

Just moved here, thought I would give them a try. Even though the cost are much higher than what I’m accustomed to what did them in for me was the rudeness of the very unpleasant young lady that waited on me both times. Rude the drop off and rude again during pick up. I will not be doing business with this dry cleaner.

It was hard to find a dry cleaner in  Southern Pines / Pinehfurstthat would do alterations.  Clean Pression Dry Cleaner is a great place for your dry cleaning and very friendly! The pants' legs were altered, and they did a marvelous job! I will be using them from now on. Their business is in the same area as Harris Teeter in Carthage NC

Valet Cleaners

I brought a 1,400 tuxedo and shirt to Valet Cleaners in Southern Pines as we normally do. Given that a tux is not something you wear every day, I did not immediately notice the damage. The coat and pants had some red chemical stains that went through the fabric and the shirt had a hole in it. As I am getting dressed for an event I noticed the damage and contacted the cleaners the following day, where I was advised to bring the garments in for inspection

Upon arriving at Valet cleaners, we were immediately pointed to the manager and a sign that shirks any responsibility after the garments are taken off their premises and after a certain period of time. I stated that we bring a lot of garments weekly and that I trusted them based on our satisfaction with their service. Our bi-weekly bill is around 70.00-120.00. At that point the lady at the counter stated that she would send the items to the manager and give me a response quickly.

After two weeks have passed, I contacted them and this is when insult meets injury. They were only willing to pay a total of 300.00 for a 1400.00 outfit. They based the refund amount on the cost of cleaning X 10.  Told them it was unacceptable and that I would be reporting them. They nonchalantly dismissed me. The case is now with the BBB.

Be careful with your expensive garments as you are taking a gamble with this company. We have since changed to American Cleaners who so far have been great. I would stay away from these people at Valet Cleaners in Southern Pines.

I met the lady named ette, who presses my garments. She did an excellent job and she was very helpful and serious about the quality of her work. She's a keeper!

I love the Quality of their work. I’m new in this neighborhood. They are very friendly as well.

Valet cleaners was the cleaners I have used since childhood, but lately they don’t want to take your laundry unless you meet certain specifications. They complain every time you bring something and recently I brought something and they would not take it because it had a dog hair on it. They’ve become so expensive, and the only reason I’ve continued to go. There is because one of the women that works. There is a sister of the owner and is so kind and works so hard. I will no longer go there just because of her because everyone else Is either so clueless or so rude that it’s not worth it. I’ve changed to a new cleaners where they are polite and grateful to have you. It’s sad to lose a private business. It’s been so long but I think they’d rather you go somewhere else so they don’t have to do the work. If I could give zero stars I would but that’s not possible.

I brought two baby dresses in to be cleaned. The man at this cleaners looked them over and said he’s not sure if they will get completely cleaned, but I would have to pay the full price either way. I decided to let him try since the baby dresses are precious to me. When I picked them up, the dresses still had the stains on them and I paid the full price. You would think he might say, “Let’s go half since we couldn’t get them cleaned.” Not a word. He simply walked in the back and left someone else to ring me up.
