Good experience overall, really nice people. I didn’t realize some of the buttons on a coat I’d had in storage forever were loose and was missing 3 when I picked up. Noticed when I got home, called the number on the hanger and the guy (Emmanuel, I believe his name was) said he’d go look for them. Couple hours later he calls back, has found all 3 buttons, and even offered to sew them back on for me. I had some more work to do on it anyway so I declined, but was able to get the buttons back. Really nice people and good service, Paul was especially helpful and kind.
Taking off 1 star because I went about 15 mins after they were supposed to be open to pick up and no one was there, and the buttons weren’t there the first time I went to get them, even though he said I could pick them up “the next morning.” So the multiple trips was kind of annoying but not a huge deal. Leaving room to add a star in the future :)

I was recommended to take my Santa suit to them for dry cleaning when I dropped it off the white fur. Was beautiful when I picked it up the fur that is supposed to be white is not tinted pink so my Santa suit is now ruined and I am going to have to purchase another one. This is a hidden gem. It's hard to find a genuine cleaner where you can get alterations done anymore let alone a good. I have a massive king size comforter and it was cleaned and returned to me in 2 days in excellent condition. My machine wasn't going to hold it, but theirs did.

So I sent my husband there with a note for each Item of clothing that I had detailing what alterations I needed when I tell you, my clothes came back altered to the T OMG perfect each item was exactly how I specified 10/10 I highly recommend

I received poor-quality alterations on my new pants, as shown in my video. When I attempted to discuss this with the manager, I mentioned that this was not the first time I experienced the same subpar alterations. The manager told me that I have too high expectations. I don't think expecting a seam without snags is too much to ask.

I gave an indian outfit for dry cleaning, despite the high prices. As I was getting ready for the event, I realized what they had done to the dupatta! It had decorative hangings on four corners, partially to add weight to keep the silky material from slipping too often. The cleaners had removed hangings from all but one corner, then packed them all together in aluminum foil! I understand that they might have done this to perhaps protect the hangings, but if so, they should have sown them back on to the dupatta corners. They also should have communicated to me that they would have to do this when I gave my outfit. Rather disappointing and careless, more so given the prices.

I had a quilt laundered, and it came out great. The family seemed very nice. My quilt was ready for pickup in a few days and was brought out in a nice bag for easy handling. I'll definitely use them again.

The employees and service are beyond phenomenal. When it comes to stains they are most assuredly miracle workers. My orders are always ready super fast, and I even get a text notification. It is evident that they take pride in their work and care for your garments as if they were their own. Worth the drive from any where in the Triangle.

Removed a stain and presented me with a sparkling clean, “brand new” looking vintage outfit my sons had worn 40 years ago. Now, my grandson is wearing it for Thanksgiving!

Unprofessional and Overpriced

I had a very disappointing experience with A Cleaner World in Apex. I initially received a quote for altering the length of a few dresses, which I agreed to. A week later—after they had my clothes all that time—they called me back just to tell me the price had jumped to almost $200. That’s unacceptable.
Not only was the communication slow and unclear, but the final quote was drastically different from what was initially discussed. I’ve had alterations done at other shops before and have never encountered this kind of unprofessional behavior or sudden price hike. This place is by far the worst I’ve dealt with when it comes to alterations. I won't be returning and can’t recommend them to anyone looking for honest, reliable service.

Bought 2 pairs of jean in for patches. The jeans were worn in the crotch area. Explained to the employee that I did not care if you could see the patches or stitching, I just wanted to be able to wear the jeans without holes. Received jeans back with flimsy patches that barely covered the wear and ripped after 2 wears. Horrible service and lack of craftsmanship and detail, will never use again. Went to Grace Tailor in Apex and she fixed the jeans properly and at a better price.

A Cleaner World did a fantastic job on my white linen draperies!  The draperies had developed yellow stains from being in the sunlight and dry cleaning would not have gotten them out.  A Cleaner World suggested they soak them in a non-chlorine bleach overnight to remove the stains and it worked perfectly. My drapes are back up and look clean and pressed.  I am so very pleased!  I would most definitely use A Cleaner World again.

I had a 10' tablecloth to press in a short time.  Service was great and I had it within 24 business hours. I compared prices and this place best them hands down!

I had a really good experience here with my shoe repair. I’ve never had shoes repaired before but when my heel broke I figured it would be more sustainable to have the shoe fixed rather than buying a new pair. They were not very expensive shoes and I’m sure some probably wouldn’t have thought it was worth the repair but my feet are small so it’s hard to find shoes in adult styles. Anyway, the owners were really nice and helpful. It was a $35 flat charge plus tax for a woman’s shoe heel repair and for me it was worth it. The repair was well done and made me feel like I was walking on brand new shoes. I’m glad I could extend the life of this pair!

Nice people and great alterations! I took a wedding guest dress here for alterations. I am a procrastinator so I needed it done within 2 weeks or so which is quite an ask during prom and peak wedding season! The dress turned out amazing and fit perfectly! It honestly blew me away how well it fit! The stitching/seams look better than they did from the factory. It was ready the exact day they told me it would be and the pricing was very fair. I will definitely be going here for any future alterations and cleaning.

I brought 4 dress shirts to have the sleeves shortened and asked how much it’d be and the lady kept on saying, “very hard work, very hard work” and something else I couldn’t understand no matter how many times she repeated it. She said it’d cost $48 per shirt because it’s such hard work. Took it down to Lee’s Tailor in Apex and no muss no fuss was quoted $20 each. If you want expensive and rude service Yang’s is it.

ZERO STARS!!!! I brought in two brand new dress in for alterations for a wedding, one for my daughter and one for me. When I got home and tried my dress on my husband zipped up my dress and immediately noticed a very obvious lipstick stain near the bottom of my dress. I came back the very next day and simply asked them to rectify the situation by dry cleaning my dress. They told me I would have to pay for dry cleaning and refused to accept accountability for staining my dress. I would like to add that I stood in front of the alterations mirror while she pinned for hemming so the owner and I would have definitely noticed this when I dropped the dress off if it had a huge lipstick mark on it. It was BRAND NEW still had the tags on it from Macy’s. She herself said when I dropped it off they would just need to press it after alternations because it’s brand new! they treated me so horribly when I came back and simply wanted them to clean my dress that other customers walked out because the owners husband began to SCREAM AT ME. I have never been treated like that in my life. The owner also has on bright pink lipstick all three times I saw her. Absolutely horrible horrible place! Not to mention she did a crappy uneven hem job! So pray my brand new dress can be saved by another dry cleaner before the wedding I’m attending.
