Well if you want your shirts ruined then take your business there.  Decided to give them a try and took 9 shirts and upon inspection when I got home 7 of them had dry cleaning fluid stains on them.  Going to take back tomorrow but not sure what they can do.   The funny thing is most the stains are in the same spot on each shirt which is a brownish stain so maybe they have something wrong with equipment but not worth taking $$$ shirts there.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. Back in April, I brought my clothes in and noticed one of my shirts was missing when I picked them up. I mentioned it to the staff, but instead of taking me seriously, they laughed in my face and acted like I was making it up. Fast forward to July, and they finally call me to say they’ve found my shirt—three months later. This level of carelessness and disrespect is unacceptable. I will not be returning.

The service here is excellent!  The staff is very friendly and helpful.  I 100% recommend!

My original cleaners closed down so I gave this place a test run. It’s been about 4 months and we are quite satisfied with the customer service & quality.

Dropped off 6 dress shirts and 4 dress pants last Saturday to the manager (older gentlemen) and was told it will be ready the following Monday. I picked up on Monday from a young woman worker and I kept telling her I was missing one dress shirt. Although the ticket only indicated 5 shirts & 4 pants, I know my personal belongings and what I dropped off. Went home to double check and I was certain I was missing a shirt. I called again and she said she will leave a note for the manager to call me in the morning. The following morning, I never received a phone call so I called myself. When I called the woman, she gave the phone to the manager and I told him my situation. I described to both workers what my dress shirt looked like and how it was one of my favorite shirts. The manager then gaslighted me by saying “sometimes people mistakenly think they brought in 10 things when it’s often 9.” I continuously told him how I was certain I was missing a shirt. He then told me he will work with me and then rudely hung up on me. About a week later and no update. I will never continue my business here again. I understand the company receive lots of items per day, but as a customer, I know the amount of clothing I dropped off and expect to pick up. Not sure why my missing shirt wasn’t indicated on the ticket, perhaps it got ruined or lost, so they deleted it off the ticket. Overall, the other reviews for this place makes sense because other customer notified lost personal clothing as well.

They really need a lesson on customer Service.

I had an office onsite meeting and I gave them some very expensive formal shirts and a 2 piece suit. Their prices were very affordable but I did not expect this level of quality for that price. This place was recommended by a friend. It was my first time going. I had five shirts, two coats, and two pairs of dress pants! The shirts' collars were stained from wearing, and the pants had a pen stain. Happy to say I haven't used dry cleaning in a while. They sent my location to the head cleaner, but they did an amazing job! Not to mention, one of my shirts was damaged. They went ahead and cleaned it and gave me back the money. Overall service was great, fast, and I got it back the next day, and the lady was friendly. This is by far the worst dry cleaning business in DFW. They lost 4 of my brother’s shirts and promised a $150 refund, but instead insulted him by writing a $50 check. He left the check at the establishment because it was a slap in the face. To make matters worse, the owner followed up with a rude text message rather than taking responsibility. Mike and Narim run a completely unprofessional operation — they can’t keep track of clothes, they don’t honor their word, and they treat customers with zero respect. Avoid this place at all costs. They do not deserve to stay in business.

Fantastic dry cleaner! They completed superior service and extended the life of a shirt which was thought to have nearly irreparable blemishes. Wonderful customer service added to a terrific experience at my needed time, after 6 P.M. during the week.

It was my first time with them and this is how they dry clean your cloths and later doesn’t accept that they did anything wrong. No courtesy to even fix it or do it again or refund. Jacket is $200 and they ruined it.

I took a new black shirt to have Dry Cleaned. I specifically ask to have Dry Cleaned become if it's washed the color tends to fade. I know they charge extra for dry clean. I really didn't mind paying extra for dry clean. When I picked it up I checked it and to my biggest fear they washed it and pressed it in the laundry. The material was completely ashy. The area around the color and sleeves was completely damaged. It had lint all over it. I complained to the owner and she was extremely unprofessional. She walked away many time. She brought out a worker to talk to me. He was very kind but why would I want to talk to the worker. The worker is not the owner and plus he had to do his job. First time going and the last. Very unprofessional customer service.

I thought I had ruined my favorite outfit by washing it and having some dye from another item bleed into it! When I took it in, I was told it was highly likely that because I had washed and dried it, it may be impossible to get the stain out! Well, they did it!!! I just picked it up and they were happy to give it to me with the stain gone! He emailed and said, we were able to get it out! They are amazing and will always have my business! I highly recommend them!

Very overpriced. I paid almost $40 for two casual short summer dresses (not same day pick up). If you want a quick turnaround, this is your place. Otherwise, there’s plenty of other places around the area with better pricing and better customer service

I really like dropping off my cleaning at Barton & Howell. I am always greeted with a smile and the service is top notch.  I recently had a costume with a full ball gown pressed, and it turned out perfectly. It was carefully hung on a hanger and covered in plastic. I really appreciated the extra care they took with my brand new costume. Yesterday I left additional items to be laundered and lightly starched. I am not worried as I know the  long sleeved shirts will be done perfectly!

I do absolutely love the service at Barton & Howell.  I am happy to have a dry cleaner that will press and dry clean my clothes just beautifully.  My clothes don’t have a strong chemical smell when they’re cleaned.

They did an amazing job pressing a skirt and jacket for me.  It was boxed up for a long time but looked great when they were done.  I will be taking all my cleaning there from now on.  The prices were reasonable too.

I have been using this cleaners for 10+ years never had an issue until ownership was changed. I spent a couple hundred dollars at this in the last few months all I ask was that my clothes was done correctly and they have not I have to give credit to the one young man that got it right I spoke with the ship earlier this week. He reassured me that my clothes would be done correctly and they were not, I was puzzled when I was told the clothes was being sent out to be folded. I didn’t ask for that type of service wanted my shirts folded over the hanger so that I didn’t have the hanger silhouette going through the sleeves. he told me the same people working in the back that does the cleaning but yet they cannot get it right my last order of clothing set at the cleaners for two weeks. I went there three times and they were not done correctly. this is not to hurt your business, because I never have a problem with my pants or jeans, but my shirts are not done correctly at all. I will provide pictures you can see on the tag where it says folded and hung as you can see they’re not done correctly. I’m going to provide another picture on the way I asked for it to be done. Ownership I read most   of your replies and I’m sure everybody’s not getting it wrong. My clothes was not damaged. I spent a lot of money on my clothes like one of your other clients and this is unacceptable. I do not mind talking to you guys in person. I did to one of the owners earlier this week please get with your staff, and get this problem fixed ASAP. You guys know how to contact me my number is in your system. We absolutely love Y Pay More! The sweetest family runs this business, and they always greet us with such kindness. Whether it’s just me or we have our son and dog in tow, they go out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their work is impeccable. We’ve never had a single issue with any garment, and they always handle our clothes with the utmost care. I even trusted them to preserve my wedding dress, and they did an absolutely incredible job. It means so much to have a place we can count on for quality and genuine care. Could not recommend them enough!
