Lil's Coin Laundry

This place is run down. Some machines are out of order, and the sign appears to be very old. Dri k machine gives the wrong drink. Most of the machines are worn out, and it looks as if no cleaning of the place is done. But I was able to get my clothes washed eventually. I'll hang them on a line to finish drying

The good; prices on washers were fair. Place was pretty clean. Change machine worked. Seats were comfortable. The bad; dryers didn't work very well, especially because the spin dry on one of the washers didn't work so the clothes were very wet coming out of the washing machine. No book or magazine rack to occupy the time while waiting for laundry. The ugly; no restroom! Only a portapotty in the parking lot. No place to wash your hands.

Needed a place to wash clothes for a friend from Swannanoah post hurricane Helene. Lil saw us pull up with 2 large trash bags full of clothes, and lots on hangers. She immediately jumped into action, helping us pick out large washers, helping us sort the clothes and then advised which dryers and how many we would need. Saved us a lot of figuring out.

I just wish they had bigger washers but always clean!

Its clean and a good environment, only issue is sometimes I have to re-wash my clothes in a different washer or dry them in a different dryer after I already put money in one. In 6 months I've probably wasted 20$ because some of the washers and dryers do not work properly and there isn't a sign on them or anything.
