Scottee Coin Wash

When I first tried Scottee's about 12 years ago there where roaches, it smelled bad, vending machine was always half way empty and the bathroom was disgusting. We decided to come back bc it's in reasonable distance from our house. It's so much cleaner, no bad smell, vending machine is always full. And they have 4 washers that wash 5 loads for $6.25. The new dryers they have also work great with delicate's and drying thing's really fast. There's always staff walking around cleaning and helping ppl and they always have nice gossiple music playing on their TV. Only time I've seen it get really crazy/extremely packed there was Sundays. I don't like crowds or ppl taking my clothes out of the washers or dryers when I'm sitting right there about to do it myself so I avoid weekends if i can. Nice laundry mate tho the new owner takes good care of everything.

Clean and up to date equipment, along with Wash & Fold service. Plenty of washers and dryers in standard and large. The owner pays attention to detail, and the attendants friendly and efficient. Wash & Fold prices are $1 per pound above $13.

The prices were average which I guess isn't all bad because they could be outrageous. I went in here about a week ago for the very first time and the place looked unkept and it smelled like somebody had pooped in one of the washers and let it wash for about an hour. I didn't feel very comfortable inside so I just had to sit outside in my car the whole time and wait for my laundry to get done. I will definitely be looking into another laundromat.

You can tell the place has taken new ownership in the past couple of years. I had noticed, just by driving past it, but then last week I decided to do my laundry there and was pleasantly surprised:) They place is allot more roomer then some of the other laundromats in the area. They also have many more machines the most of the others. I tend to wait till I have no clothes left, so when I do have to go do laundry I usually have 6 to 10 loads to do. I was stoked when I saw they have 2 giant super size machine washers. I think I was able to load the machine with like 5-6 of the loads I had. The largest machine charges $6.00/5 loads. I then used 2 of the next smaller size washer to wash the rest. Their dryers are 25¢ for 7mins dry time. That would be the only con I had. Some of the other laundromats charge 25¢/10mins. However, it wasn't that big of a deal. The place has a large overhang so you can pull up almost right to the door, unload your baskets and worry about the elements. And what definitely set this laundromat apart from the others in Chambersburg is it has FREE WI-FI!!!! something else that is kinda neat is that they run on solar energy.
