Thrift DLux Cleaners

I’ve been a loyal customer of Thrift-D-Lux for years, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. A few weeks ago, I brought in two pairs of pants for alterations. One pair needed a small button replaced, and the other pair needed both a button and a zipper replacement. Unfortunately, when I picked them up, the instructions were completely mixed up. They replaced the zipper on the wrong pair of pants (which only needed a button), and on the pair that actually needed the zipper replaced, they only replaced the button. Even worse, I was charged $15 just to replace a button, which seems absurd. For the pair of pants that had both a button and zipper replaced, the cost was $45. I understand businesses need to cover costs, but these prices are unreasonably high, especially given the mistake made on my order. The instructions were clear on the tickets and were even read back to me at pick-up, so there’s no excuse for the mix-up. On top of that, I inquired about dry cleaning for a few simple dresses, and the quote was $20 per dress, which seems excessive for basic items with no intricate detailing. Overall, I’m very disappointed in the service and pricing. This experience has made me question whether I’ll return in the future. It’s frustrating to see such a lack of attention to detail and fair pricing from a business I’ve frequented for years.

DO NOT LOOK AT GOOGLE REVIEWS LOOK AT YELP!!!! I was quoted for 2 dresses, $35 each because I needed the zippers fixed. I thought it was insanely pricey but I agreed. I had my brother go pick up the clothes because the rest of the items in the receipt were his, they completely changed the price! It was $90 for 2 zipper alterations!!!! She never gave me any price at all in writing and I feel like a complete idiot for not asking for it but I have never ever had this happen at a dry cleaners place. DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN DRY CLEANING! I made the mistake of trusting Google reviews, on yelp there were several experiences like mine. Completely insane.

They advertise alterations. I took two paur of pants to have shortened. No room to change into your clothes. In fact I was informed you have to bring them the measurements. Never heard of such a way of doing alterations business. Not the friendliest reception. Plenty of other places to visit.

I've been using them for the past several months and they are crushed it when it comes to cleaning. My suites never looked better, an all white designer outfit that was yellow stained cause of aging. Brooks brother dress shirt with worn collar color. Ever item I bring comes back new!!!🤩

Liz was very nice and easy to talk to. She explained the process of my Dry Cleaning and made me feel my suits were in good hands. Definitely would recommend the Losee location. They delivered my suits on time and I am very pleased with the service I received.
