Comet Cleaners

If I could give them zero stars I would. My husband dropped his suit off at this cleaner and prepaid. When I picked it up, I didn’t check to see if everything was OK and hung it in his closet on the original hangar and protective plastic. When he took the bag off to put it on, both of the front buttons were broken to bits and looked like they were almost ripped off the jacket. They were perfectly intact and whole when we took it in. They had to have seen them when they pressed it. They should have at least let us know they were damaged. I will not go back nor recommend this business!

I'm beyond impressed with the wash and fold service we received. All our clothes were squeaky clean and folded so perfectly and I believe their pricing is MORE than fair, seeing as all the guys' jeans were covered in car grease and we'd been out off-roading in the desert. They even paired all our socks. I appreciate everyone at Comet cleaners so much right now! Fantastic customer service and very friendly folks.

Asked for heavy starch. Came back with no starch, and wrinkles. They told me there was nothing they could do. I have an important event. That was awesome.

I've used this place a few times and have always thought the service is amazing, but this past time blew me away. Our squadron had our holiday party and I got a few BBQ sauce stains on my suit because I eat like a 5 yo. I didn't bother to check the pockets at drop off and when I picked up the suit, the checkout girl said they found some stuff in there and put the items in an envelope. I opened it and there was about $30 worth of cash. I thank them for their honesty and I'll try to remember to check my pockets from now on.

Comet Cleaners is an alterations located in downtown Alamogordo. I took my service dress there for a quick dry cleaning including jacket, pants, and 2 long sleeves and it was around $20. Not only do I think the price is reasonable, they have a quick turnaround of one day if you drop it off before 9 in the morning, then you can pick it up in the afternoon. So far I've had good experience on my behalf and will continue to take my business to this establishment. I do wish they have an alterations in the same building, I really do think that would bring in more clients as a one-stop-shop for the town. Visited and have worked with many dry cleaning businesses and this one is definitely one of my favorites due to the quick turnaround and he's Anibal price. I know some people in the comments were practically want the service to be free but I can't speak on their behalf. Anyway, right now they have three pants for $10 and I don't think it's a bad idea considering many people don't know how to wash clothes in iron. Anyway, good business, will continue to support this establishment.
