Majestic Laundrette

Well worth the trip out from central Glasgow if you’re travelling. You can either leave laundry with the staff or do yourself. They’ll tell you how long it will take for the wash and load. In our case we were going to do two loads at £6 but staff told us they thought it would fit in one basket (one load) and it did. 50p for a generous scoop of detergent. Drying is about £1 per ten minutes, again staff advised what settings they would use and they were spot on again saving us money. Best laundromat by far! Highly recommended.

We’re traveling for several weeks (family of 4), so we needed to do a load of laundry while in Glasgow. Had a great experience at Majestic Laundrette! Staff was very helpful. They had laundry detergent I could purchase and could exchange my cash for coins for the machines. Much more reasonably priced compared to getting it done through the hotel!

Reasonable price especially compared to the hotels fees! Staff is friendly. There are two free museums near by transportation museum and the art gallery museum that are both excellent and you can spend your time very well there while waiting for your cloths. Not to mention several decent restaurants downtown the same street along the walk either of the museums.

I was a confused canadian, we share the same queen on our coins, and we share the same language but i didn’t understand half of what the guy was saying to me, and i didn’t understand the coins lol. I put 1 pound too many in the machine but they were nice enough to open the machine and return the money, very helpful, very friendly. So if your Canadian, or American and you come hear and realize you can’t understand anything anyone says, and your lost and confused like i was, the staff here will treat you good.

We packed light for our 2 week stay in Glasgow so we needed to do laundry twice. This laundromat was not close to our hotel so we took the train which was about a 10 minute trip. There was a nice coffee shop just down the road so by the time we ate and had coffee our laundry was done (quick trip back to put in the dryer). The person working in the shop was very friendly. We always have good luck with local laundromats when we travel.
