I contacted Sylvia’s on Facebook late one night after my washing machine broke mid-wash. They responded really fast and understood the trouble of having no washing machine with a child! I brought 2 baskets of washing in, with no expectations of timescales but the girls blew me away with their speedy, friendly service!! The price was reasonable considering the amount of washing and how quickly they managed to get it all done. The clothes were all folded and placed neatly into plastic bags. If I could give them more than 5* I would. A wonderful, friendly, happy family run company - not many of these left in the world sadly. I cannot thank or recommend Sylvia’s enough for helping me and their amazing attitude/ customer service.

Put a mattress topper into shop yesterday morning about 11.00 which was delivered to my doorstep at 9.30 this morning five miles away. Price was £1 more including delivery as I previously paid to different laundry, and had to go back and collect. Will be a customer again after excellent service.

Have received great service having laundry done for a family member in hospital. Was really worried when I went on holiday for a week there would be no-one available to sort out the washing. They went out of their way to go on an unscheduled day and get the washing and make sure it was returned one less thing to worry about. We have chosen to keep using the service even though we are back from holiday as it has taken a load off (pardon the punn 🤣)

Excellent. Always has been. If you’re looking for finer details; - Friendly service, with no hesitation to answer all my questions promptly. - Picked up and dropped off precisely when I was told it would be. - Laundry dropped off fully valeted, above what was requested, i.e. not only washed and dried, but folded and bagged in a fashion that made putting it away a cinch. - Price was competitive and fair.
