We bought a couch off marketplace only to discover their cat had been marking its territory all over the couch for what seemed like a long time! When I pulled the cushion covers off the actual cushions (which were filled with feather down), they were stained yellow, some were mouldy, and reeked of cat urine.

The ladies at Little Mizz were so kind and helpful, even on the phone chatting me through all the different options before I brought the cushions in. Feather down cushions take so much work to clean, and cat urine is such a hard smell to get rid of.

But Tamika took on the project like a champion! And even though it took her days of work, and literally liters of various special products to clean, disinfect, deodorise, and dry the eleven cushions, they charged us less than $350. Which is hundreds of dollars less than dry cleaning or other professional cleaning would have been! And some of the cushions which sit on the base of the couch were massive!

When we received the cushions back, they had returned to their usual feather down smell. The mould was dead, and even the yellow stains were gone! Plus the cushions had fluffed up so much it was like we had bought a new couch!

I can't thank these ladies enough. It's the second time they've helped me out massively (first time was with a wool mattress protector). No project is too specialised for them. Or if it is, they're honest and will refer to other services you can trust. And they always work with your budget. Thank you thank you thank you!

Foot note. The ladies we bought the couch off were so apologetic that they paid the cleaning fee. There are still good people in the world!

This is our GO TO laundromat . The service from the ladies are amazing , they are very friendly and do a great job .  It cost from $2 - $10 to dry our clothes and from $2 - $16 to wash clothes . Dependant on how long you want to wash or dry . We trust this place alot and i  would highly recommend this place.

We were travelling and stopped in to do our washing. The ladies there were very friendly and completed our service for us. This allowed us to keep exploring the area.

My cat made a poor choice. The lovely employee here made it super quick, easy and convenient to wash and dry my super king doona. Thanking you so much!

Go here every Saturday morning to buy the ultimate peanut butter tub. Made just from peanuts nothing else is so moreish I have to stop myself doing the whole tub which must be 10000 calories. Loads of other amazing products from vitamins to milk and cheese. Great staff and open long hours. Parking outside some for 15 mins free if u r just popping in for something.

The happiest day of my life became a horrible reminder of what this business has done.

I researched "Gold Coast specialist wedding dress dry cleaners" online and visited McGregor's Drycleaners in Burleigh Heads. I was very nervous about dropping off my $5,000 wedding gown and I asked for assurance that there would be no problems with dry-cleaning my gown. I was assured that it would be perfectly fine.

When I was called more than a month later to collect my dress I originally thought it was odd that they didn't open up the dress bag instore but took it home and checked it over. I was absolutely devastated to open it and reveal that it was completely ruined. The fabric had bubbled and there were clear chemical stains on the fabric. I contacted McGregor's straight away and the manager Jo asked me to drop it to the Mermaid location. I did and she assured me that they would be able to repress the fabric back together. Several weeks passed and I received no updates and had to continually follow up. The dress was eventually dropped off with a letter stating that it was "un-drycleanable" and that I should refer to the manufacturer. It was in even worse condition than before.

I contacted the dress manufacturer and the person who sold me the dress, they have advised that they have had no drycleaning issues with the samples they have drycleaned previously. I am currently trying to mediate with an external party but once again, it's been several weeks and the owner is unresponsive. I am completely devastated and I can't even look at the dress, it's even hard to look at photos now. A dress I trusted that they would preserve so I could keep forever (as per their website claims) is beyond repair and completely ruined.

I hope that the issue will be resolved and that McGregor's will do the right thing. Until then, I will continue to share my story and hope no one else suffers the devastation of losing a very precious item of clothing. My next point of call is local media and small claims court.

Way overpriced. I thought i would try here for some clothes alterations as it is closer to me than the one if normally use. I was told my items would be done within a week and it look 2 weeks. I was quoted $60 for 3 items, which is more expensive than the usual one i go to, but i thought id just give it a try. When i went to pick up i was charged $85 because she missed an item on my quote. When i questioned this, i still had to pay the $85. If i had known the price at the start i would have taken my clothes and gone elsewhere for a cheaper price. I wont be returning.

I attended Burleigh Mcgregor Drycleaning store and was greated by most pleasent and helpfull lady. I needed a variaty of items to be cleaned and also some alterations done. Liliana greated me with beautiful smile and caring nature. I received my alterations same day as promised and on time. Exceptional service and i will most definetely be coming back expecialy now that prices are so affordable. Shirts are 3$ each, love it!!!
