Absolutely amazing service, Alka and the team thank you for taking great care of my wedding dress. After I had taken it to Cocos at kingsway and they just dumped it into a flexi bucket right infront of my eyes I knew I had to take my dress elsewhere.

We had attended a wedding overseas and the dry cleaning overseas had ruined/shrunk my husbands good quality wool dress pants from institchu, Alka has once again saved the day over a few weeks she had gently dry cleaned and stretched out my husbands pants that he was devastated about. Amazing service and quality work, you can trust Alka with your best garments. Have been coming to Alka for years and although it's only a couple of times in the year she always remembers us and all the dresses/garments she's done for us previously and every time the garments have come up spotless. The most impressive experience however has been the most recent when we brought her a couple of very stained wedding dresses (mud on bottom and espresso martini stain) and they have come back looking brand new which I did not think would be possible! To top it off she packed them so nicely into a wedding dress box and provided very helpful advice on how to store it.

I was initially hesitant to go anywhere because I’d heard mixed reviews about dress cleaners. But after reading the great reviews about Alka, I decided to visit the store and speak with her in person. She was so reassuring and clearly explained everything she would do to take care of my wedding dress. The whole experience gave me a lot of confidence. When I got my dress back, it was absolutely perfect—like brand new—and beautifully boxed up. I’m so happy I trusted her with something so special!

Alka has done a superb job of cleaning and restoring a precious 70 year old family heirloom vintage wedding dress for me (and my daughter).
Her professional expertise and care are clearly evident, and I initially discussed the previous treatments done to the dress, and the possible risks of cleaning such old fabric.
Alka used several cleaning processes (over time) to remove the heavy yellow staining from the multiple dress layers, and achieved an amazing result. The heavy yellow staining was removed and the dress looks rejuvenated.
We carefully chose Alka based off the excellent reviews online, and we were delighted with the finished result.

Balcatta Dry cleaners.... wouldn't recommend at all, didn't Dry clean the clothes properly, put in four shirts,  they had them from Thursday to Monday afternoon, came out just the same but according to them (Patrick) they are now bacteria free 🙄, doesn't matter that they are still dirty with removable stains. Waste of $36, not a mention of a refund or anything, said he's had no complaints but clearly has and just denies they were a customer! These photos are the shirts after they have 'cleaned' them.  What a joke

**** Responding to owners feedback...the shirts bought in had not been cleaned previously by me, I mentioned I had cleaned and scrubbed his other shirts and thought getting these ones dry cleaned would be easier. I ended up cleaning them myself after all this and did get the stains out.
