First time I have used Iron Maidens and was very impressed from the initial enquiry to the delivery. An excellent service and highly recommended.

Here's my experience.
During a work trip, I was staying at a local hotel, bringing only enough shirts for the week. During lunch one day, I noticed some sauce had splashed onto the shirt I was wearing. In a panic, I quickly changed and googled how to get sauce out of a shirt.

After some frantic conversations with the hotel, I was pointed in the direction of Iron Maidens, a local business that's helped some people before.

Here's why I wish I could give Iron Maidens more attention and more than just 5 stars.

I called midday and spoke to a very happy and helpful, Joanne (I'm so sorry if I've not spelt your name correctly!) She was sympathetic and after hearing my request, quickly put me through to John.

John was more than happy to help. He gave me some reassurances on the phone and later, I travelled down to drop off my shirt.
I got there a little late in the evening, but inwas greeted warmly and even though it was close to closing, I was given a lot of time to go through what I needed and when I needed it done by.
"We will do everything we can. You're picking it up a couple days so it gives us the chance to try as many times as we can"
It wasn't going to be a '1 wash and that's it' I was reassured they'll go that extra mile to help me.
I left that evening knowing whatever the outcome, it'll be the best outcome possible.

Fast forward to the day of collection, I was late leaving my business event and called John in a bit of panic, thinking they'll be closed before I get to them.
"Don't worry, James, I'll probably be closing late anyway, get here when you can"
Luckily I didn't arrive late, but knowing John would keep the store open for me, just to collect 1 shirt, was incredibly nice of him.

John gave me the shirt and at first, I thought he did a miracle!
I saw a shirt that looked brand new. But John was very professional and showed me how the stain wasn't completely out (you can only see it if I point it out to you, and even then, it's hard to see.)

John showed me his integrity, he showed me how he wanted to make it perfect but because of the oil in the sauce, it wasn't going to happen, BUT in my eyes it's gone and the shirt is saved!

John and his team delivered exceptional customer service. All this for just £3.95. Incredibly reasonable to have a shirt washed (several times) treated, ironed and ready, in such a short time for such a good price.

Before I left, I made a comment to say I wished his business was closer to home and I stand by that. After my experience, I'd hand over all my weekly washing needs to John and his team and would highly recommend all their services to anyone looking.

I took a handful of business cards and passed them to the hotel, but I wanted to write my experience for anyone and everyone who needs a professional, friendly, and time effective laundry service to take their needs straight to John and Iron Maidens.

I have been using Iron Maidens for a number of years to iron my work shirts. The service is excellent and the home delivery is really helpful especially when they are ironed. I wouldn't go anywhere else and price is good for the service you get.

Excellent customer service from John and his team from when I phoned making a query to when I dropped off and collected my load. My bed linen and throw overs clean and smelt gorgeously fresh on return. With such 100% fabulous first class service, I certainly will be using them again. Thank you Iron Maidens!!!
