I went to Top Notch to have a dress shirt cleaned for an event I had scheduled. I asked about their alteration services and was introduced to Elena. As busy as she is with prom season around the corner, not only did she let me know she could take on what I'd call a tremendous task of altering a dress shirt, she completed it in a record time, it was executed flawlessly. It looked custom tailored. I'm extremely impressed and will be returning with other items to be altered by her.  The cost was really negligible considering the thought and quality of the outcome. I feel I didn't pay enough for her work. I highly recommend her services for the "Not off the store rack" feeling.

Dropped off two blankets and a pair of pants, the blankets might have got a sprits of   fabreze but they were not clean and the pants had more stains than when I dropped them off and the crease line was gone. Do not go here the cheap price shows in their work.

NEVER EVER TRUST KEVIN DONADIO (OWNER) OR HIS SON (DAVID)!! Worst customer service experience in my life. I brought my grandmother's beautiful cape mink coat bought from the original Kramer's fur store in New Haven, CT which was an heirloom and barely worn, kept protected in a closet (NOT a basement or attic) which I planned to wear on my wedding on 09/12/20 and it was completely mishandled/destroyed. Initially, I spoke to David on the phone who ensured me they had cleaned mink before and it did not need to be sent out for special care. I brought the cape down to the store and he said it was in good condition and would be ready with no problem in a couple days. I arrived back several days later encountering owner Kevin Donadio  (his father) who seemed very angry with David for telling me the coat would be ready so soon. He rudely asked me to return back the following Monday-Tuesday (because he was scrambling to fix my already ruined mink cape by checking with his fur courier when they were arriving to the store next) but was unsuccessful. I arrived back again to pick up my cape and encountered David who then brought my cape to me completely destroyed. Giant holes were created by their machines and burnt edges with mink falling off. I never received an apology once or urgency to resolve the issue. I was accused of having the jacket repaired before when my grandmother is still alive to confirm it is has not been. I never once received a called back from Kevin or his son David. Instead, they threw the issue onto Top Notch Cleaners in Branford who did everything they could to fix my cape before my wedding. Unfortunately, my cape is still ruined with chunks of mink falling off and holes. The owner Kevin or David never ONCE owned up to their mistake or complete lies. Kevin was rude, loud, condescending, and the absolute worst owner I have ever experienced and his son David is inadequate in understanding his business. I trusted Top Notch Cleaners Wallingford with a cherished family heirloom and relied on them for their expertise and wisdom in the business for a very special day of mine, but was beyond devastated. NEVER EVER GO HERE!!!!!!!

Best dry cleaner's around. They take the time to know their customers. They always have a friendly word whenever you drop by. The service is excellent. I have been going for years, and never had a lost or damaged item.

We use Top Notch every day at our hotel. They are professional and prompt. If there is ever an issue they are responsive and quick to work towards a resolution. WAY over priced for wash/dry/fold. It is beyond me how they can justify charging almost TRIPLE what other places do, while doing a worse job and taking far longer. It's way worth it to go to literally anywhere else in the area, even to the next town over.

One star is too good a rating.  No one there cares.  They treat their customers and vendors like garbage.  Do yourself a favor and take your business anywhere else.

First off I don’t do this often, but White Way’s service has declined significantly over the past few years.  I brought in a suit, blazer and two shirts today (Friday) for a Sunday banquet.  This turnaround time has always been acceptable in the past as long as you get the clothes there by 9am which I did.  They checked me in and stated they would be ready Monday and when I asked if they could support having them ready for Sunday they said there was no way and they were ready to go home for the day (at 9am).  When I said that they have always supported this in the past she didn’t respond she just voided the transaction and I had to take my clothes.  They couldn’t care any less even though we do business there all the time.  There are much better options available in town!  I went directly to Top Notch Dry Cleaning and they not only supported having the clothes ready for the banquet, they said they would be ready today!  I asked if that was a normal expectation for turnaround time in the business and he say yes absolutely.  Find other options, White Way has gotten way too big and their business has suffered because of it.

I've been with White Way for many many years, probably over 20 at this point. They do almost anything you need regarding uniforms and rags, rugs etc.  They change with me as my business needs change. We feel loyal to them as they have been loyal to us. Respecting our business relationship. Harley has been our Route Service Manager for quite a while and we are very happy to have him. He's very pleasant to interact with. Takes care of our stuff.  Always answers our questions and facilitates any changes we may need.  He is also mindful of our customers when changing rugs.
