I wouldn't recommend bringing anything vibrant or valuable here — they completely ruined my $200
sweaters. Everything came back dull, stiff, and faded.

My blue hoodie, which used to be bright and smooth, is now an ashy blue. The bubble lettering on both the front and back is cracked. I've washed this hoodie at home multiple times before without a single issue, so either their chemicals were way too harsh or they carelessly threw it in a dryer.

The coral pink hoodie lost all color in the lettering and looks washed out too. And to make it worse, the stains I originally brought them in for still aren't gone.

I paid $8 per hoodie, and honestly — I got what I paid for. I even attached before-and-after photos of my blue hoodie so you can see just how badly the color was drained. I'm devastated because these were 1-of-1 pieces that can't be replaced.

To top it off, I was told my order would be ready in two days, but it wasn't. I couldn't bring my hoodies on my trip, and when I finally picked them up a week later, this is what | got.

Brought in 2 leather jackets and a super dirty suede coat and they did an amazing job! My mom’s leather jacket from the 80s that I have been wearing for years was showing signs of damage for its age (especially around the cuffs). After picking it up it looks almost brand new, but with the same softness and quirks it’s gathered over its life that I was worried would get lost. My mom was so happy to see it get a new life after 40 years of her (and then me!) wearing it everywhere. Totally worth the price for how well each jacket was taken care of :)

I usually create Scarves. I bring them to Chris and he put them through the dry cleaning process. If they need any further attention, then there’s always availability of an Expert on site, tailor. I have used the tailor services to put a finished ham on several of my scarves and they have looked excellent. It’s good to know that when I bring a piece of weaving to Chris for dry cleaning, he treats  me as a fiber artist, and does his best to give me a good return for my presentation. I’m totally confident with his skills with my fiber arts. I’m also equally as glad that he is as honest and forthright as he is with his dry cleaning business. I live in West Hartford, but it’s like having a long Distance neighbor. Chris always take care of what I need in his effort efforts and much appreciated.

Not the most modern, or clean looking, but it is the most affordable of the few places I have visited recently. Coin OP machines vs electronic cards. Start wash load before 6pm. $1.75 small washer, $3.50 Med, $5.25 for large washer. $0.25 for 7 min of dry time. $1.00 for box of detergent, I used 2 boxes of Tide for one wash. $1.00 for 2 Bounce dryer sheets. I split the load into 2 dryers (Medium load) spent $1.50 on 2 dryers, combined both into 1 for another $0.25 because a few items were slightly damp. $8.25 total for Medium load

I have been a loyal customer of Wethersfield Battisson Dry Cleaners for over 10 years, but unfortunately, the customer service has really declined. Today, I had an incredibly disappointing experience that left me baffled and frustrated.

After dropping off my clothes, I was unexpectedly told to move my car from one side of the parking lot to another for no reason warranted. While this request alone was unusual, what truly shocked me was the rude and threatening tone of the employee, who said, “Don’t let me ask again.” This was completely uncalled for, especially since I had just been inside 10 minutes earlier with no issue.

This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I cannot support a business that disrespects its long-time customers. I will no longer be using this location and would caution others about their declining service.

I went to donate coats that my company was donating for the coat drive.  The gentleman working had no idea what I was talking about.  I had to be the one to ask if he could at least make a call to the owner to find out so that I didn’t have to take take the 2 boxes back to work.  He said he would call , he continued sweeping the floor while I just stood there!  Finally he calls and finds out that , yes there is a coat drive.  He does not offer to help me get the boxes, I ask if I can write on the boxes my company name.  He said” whatever yuh want go ahead.  Not a good customer service person!  The company and their employees need to be in the right page.  I was so disappointed.

I went again this week and was pleased! Casey (sp?) and Jill were very nice and accommodating! They removed a stain that I thought wasn’t going to come out or one of my white shirts! Thanks !!!

The gentleman at the tailoring area was very polite and understood what I needed.
