I brought in a dress I wore for my daughter's wedding.  It had beading on the empire waist.  I was asked to sign a release for the beads-thinking it was for the beading being damaged-falling off etc. (I was fine with that). I was told the dress would be cleaned according to the label instructions.  The label says-"cover the beads-no heat or steam on the beading".  When I went to pick up the dress I found the first layer under the bust line to be stained. (see pictures). I immediately asked the store employee what was going on?  It was clear that the fabric was folded over the beading when it was pressed and the coating on the beads transferred to the fabric clearly leaving marks from the beads.  I called the store and was referred to Sherry King who is the general manager of the facility that six of the dry cleaners in The Villages uses.  In a nutshell I was told there was nothing they could do-the garment was cleaned according to the instructions-however she told me that the garment had been HEAT cleaned.  Going back and forth-there was no resolution-she blamed the store front for putting the garment in the wrong color bag. I felt whoever pressed the garment was negligent.  Since I signed the release I was out of luck.  BEWARE-if you have something with beading or stones take the garment elsewhere.  This business will not take any responsibility for any damages to the garment-I just wish they would have said they couldn't take the responsibility of cleaning the garment and I would has used a dry cleaner outside The Villages.

I brought a dress here in hopes they would know how to clean the dress & get the stains out, but when I arrived to pick up the dress, I was told therr was nothing they could do to get the stains out. I was charged $30 for nothing. I brought the dress home and got the stain out on my own.. Should have just done it myself in the first place. Maybe they are good for regular washing but I wouldnt use again, easier to do it on my own.

I had 7 suites and a bunch of shirts and pants dry cleaned with this place. They ruined my suites with a horrible press creating multiple creases down the sides of the pants. The suit jackets were also horribly pressed. In my opinion the most important thing of a good dryclean is the press. This is what creates a proper creas in the proper areas. I also asked to bag the clothing with xtra long bags so that the bottom can be tied to protect the clothes further and that was not even done after I was told it would be. All in all after spending over $200 and receiving my clothing back in such condition, I will never return. It is sad because the woman who received my clothes was extremely nice and gave a wonderful impression.

I was referred to this place told they might be able to help me with an alteration on an item.
The lady told me right off that NO the person that does alterations was on vacation, that was pretty much before I even got the item out of the bag.
For customer service not even have a nice day.

Spanish Plaines Dry Cleaner

I dropped off three suits to be dry cleaned. Upon pickup I noticed one of the vests had been ruined - there are tears all through the fabric and there is a burn mark on the bottom. This can happen with dry cleaning from time to time, it is understandable. They were apologetic and fixed the issue satisfactorily and quickly. The cleaning was quick and reasonably priced, and they care about their customers and are happy to fix any issues that may arise. I recommend this cleaner!

Poor Service
I was at the door 1 Minute after 12:00 Saturday woman will not give me my clothing I needed for a party.

Absolutely the worst dry cleaners I have ever used. They normally do an adequate job pressing my suits but this time was the last straw. All three suit jackets were pressed terribly, to the point where I drove 30 minutes out of my way to a local dry cleaner in Belleview to have them fixed as soon as I left. The dry cleaner in Belleview isn't even sure if he can get them fixed correctly but they will be wearable because of how poorly they pressed the jackets. So, not only did they potentially ruin three suit jackets but I also had to pay to pick them up and now I have to pay to have someone else fix this. If it were possible to leave negative stars I would have. Even the woman working at Spanish Plaines when I picked the clothes up was shocked at how poorly they had pressed the suit coats. Do not, take your clothes here if at all possible.

Five Star superb service with dry cleaning quality!  I located this dry cleaner as was nearby at the Villages Hospital and needed laundry and dry cleaning services.  Sandy at the front desk was very friendly and thorough while taking my clothes.  As a new customer, I was super impressed with their service and quality of work.  Thank you!

Was a customer for 3 years and service was OK.  But then a quilt was damaged during cleaning.  This was confirmed not only by us but also by the employee who took in the quilt.  Yet the manager refused to give any allowance for this, thus essentially calling us liars.  We will not return.

How do you have the nerve to charge $5 & $6 to launder shirts? Not dry clean, just launder. Should be no more than a couple of dollars each. That’s (and lower) is what I’ve always paid. Such a rip off!
