Took vintage piece for cleaning and to have some delicate threads in the embellishment reattached. The alteration was botched badly — it looks terrible, and the embellishment was further damaged. When I brought it up, the clerk blamed the garment instead of taking responsibility. Despite returning my piece in worse condition than when I dropped it off, no discount or apology was offered. I paid $95 ($45 to clean and $50 for the botched alteration). They did offer to ‘fix it free of charge’ which was laughable and infuriating at the same time.

I noted and ignored multiple signs posted saying they’re not responsible for just about anything related to the services they provide. A red flag I wish I heeded — it suggests they’ve had repeated issues and would rather protect themselves than ensure customer satisfaction.The workmanship and accountability were seriously lacking. I won’t be back.

RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE: None of your response addresses the botched stitch job you charged me $50 for. Did you see the pictures of your work? If the alteration was decent I would have let you fix the rest 'free of charge'. I also took the piece to another alterations company who fixed that botched hand sew in 1 day at a decent rate. See the pics for yourself. If the work is beyond your scope of expertise you are free to decline it. You took $50 for that hand sew and did worse than I would have done myself. Also a steam clean was never offered, why would I risk a dryclean if you offered a better alternative. I paid $95 total - I would have paid whatever you asked for the best outcome. As I explained it was vintage and delicate, and I agreed to the price you quoted. I expected better from you and only want to warn others who may trust you with their treasured pieces.

First time there. Owner is legit. He said if there's anything im not satisfied with he would take care of it. Great customer service so far.

I dropped off a red and white patterned dress to be dry cleaned. I was afraid to wash it myself because I didn't want the red to bleed into the white, so I chose to dry clean it. Well, when I got it back, that's exactly the state that it was in - pink and red. I complained and the lady who served me told me that it was the material and the chemicals and that was the best that they could do. I had to come back Monday when the owner was there. I brought it back and he said that he would take care of it. When I returned to retrieve the item, it was less pink, but still not white. The same lady clerk was rude and disrespectful. Again she said that I had to come back Monday. When I returned, the owner said that he had been in business since 1982 and he knew his business. He couldn't do any better. I told him that since he had been in business that long, he should have known that he couldn't clean this item. After going back and forth he finally gave me back the money that I paid for the cleaning. He has a sign that says if they damage your item, he will give you double the price of the cleaning. He refused to reimburse me the $20 that the sign promises. First he said that the item wasn't damaged. It came in red and white and was returned pink and white. That is damage. He said that if he gave me the money his business would go under. For $20? That is the last time that I will do business with that establishment. The signs posted are a marketing gimmick. They have no intention of honoring it. He also told me to take him to court. It would cost me more to file the claim for $20. Instead, I am writing this review and warning other people, like the previous patrons. DON'T GO TO THIS CLEANERS.

I came in to have my work pants taken in because they were too big. The first seamstress did a great job. I came back about a week later (11/22)  to get another pair of the same type of pants taken on as well. Apparently they have too seamstress’, well the second one did a HORRIBLE job. When I noticed the job she did, immediately returned and they asked to keep the pants to fix. I came back a few days later and it was still bad. We went in this loop FOUR TIMES. They kept asking to fix it but every time it wasn’t right. Eventually I was told to return when the manager would be here but every time I came back the owner or manager was never available. I returned yet again on 12/18 and the gentlemen at the front refused to reimburse me for the pants or even issue a refund. In his words, I just wanted the money to pocket it and I needed to take them to court. And that’s exactly what’s happening. I have filed a lawsuit against them.  (The pictures was after the THIRD time I’ve been there. This was them “fixing” it.)

I dropped my clothes (2 suit jackets) to be cleaned with expected pickup on Wednesday.  When I had time to come pick them up on Friday, due to work and hence why I needed my jackets cleaned, my items could not be located.

I’ll update the review once my items are found or the issue is corrected…but now it’s unnecessary time and money I have to spend because of their error.

UPDATE:  and they don’t have a good phone number so I can’t even call for an update.

UPDATE:  it has been phone tag and their demand for me to return to the store when I have had court the entire time and not much time to come and try to fix the problem.

My items have not been located.  And the settlement process requires 6-8 weeks worth of time (and asking for proof of purchase for clothes that I have had for some time now).  This whole thing honestly has caused a 12-15wk inconvenience due to their negligence...and everyone looking at me crazy because I’m frustrated at the lack of sense concerning this whole matter.

It’s not fair, it’s not cool, and it’s very unprofessional.

I have been going to this business for a while now. I usually pre pay when I drop clothes off. On Saturday, September 20, 2025 I go to pick up my order. The lady at the counter says you already picked it up. I know I did not pick up the order because I had been busy the last few weeks.

She tells me to locate the ticket. I find the ticket and bring it back to the store before they close. She again says it was picked up and I respectfully disagreed. She then gets rude and starts raising her voice but I kept it cool because I know as a large black man the blame would shift to me. She is adamant that I picked my clothes up on September 4th. I attempted to show her on the ticket it says I dropped my clothes off on the 4th and picked them up on the 4th. How is that even possible???? She again dismissed what I am saying and says see Tony on Monday.

What makes this even more ridiculous on the bottom of the same ticket says “Ready after 5pm on Monday, September 8, 2025. So how could I possibly have picked my clothes up on September 4th when it was not ready until the 8th??? I guess I have to talk and explain to the manager on Monday about locating my clothes.

The service and staff always nice to me. Only had one or two incidents where my buttons was dry cleaned off. Overall a good experience
