I’ve been going to Greenacre Cleaners for years and they’ve been consistently reliable. The service is always great, the pricing is fair and affordable, and my clothes come back spotless and perfectly pressed every time. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I also really appreciate that they offer repairs in addition to cleaning. It’s the only place I trust with my clothes and I highly recommend them.

I inherited a couple of vintage furs — I needed to clean and store them, but I also needed a repair on of them.

Not only does Greenacre have a fur vault, but Eric was able to get the necessary repairs on one of them done for me at a reasonable rate, which was extraordinarily convenient (the nearest furrier is at least an hour away).

I have also done regular day to day dry cleaning with Greenacre and have never had a bad experience. I definitely recommend!

Really great cleaner. I am having to wear more professional clothes for work so I wanted to get all my hand-me-down dress shirts and suits looking great. I have been taking my clothes exclusively to Greenacre just because of how well they clean up my stuff! They also have very affordable pricing for cleaning. You can expect to pay maybe $2-3 for dress shirts, $8-9 for suit jackets, and I believe $6-7 for pants. They offer a 5% cash discount which is awesome, and they take the time and care to identify what your clothes are made of so that you get the correct type of cleaning. My clothes came back stain free and perfectly pressed. Super friendly staff and they do repairs too! (10-14 day turnaround). Would recommend.

They have a front room set up in the middle of the place with couches and a TV and the bathroom was super clean. The big machines made it easy and they were not expensive. And to edit this review I left my comforter in there. Very expensive, nice comforter and when I called this morning the lady said yes they put it away for you. I mean how cool is that.

Very few laundromats in the area are maintained with reasonable climate control, good customer service, and clean facilities.The dryers in my apartment stopped working in 2015, so I started using the Laundry Lounge to dry my laundry and periodically wash my comforters for the following decade.

The Laundry Lounge is clean and air conditioned, but as I learned today, the only people who count as "paying customers" are those using the washing machines, so customer service wasn't part of my experience.

I will not be returning.

Fair warning: the owner takes issue with the coin exchange used for any quarters not being used same day on site. While most banks and credit unions no longer use coins or provide rolls of quarters, this systemic issue is for apparently you, dear customer, to solve for yourself.

Usually go to 4th Street Mega Laundromat because I can always find a machine to use and the quarter machine is accessible. Checked out Barb City for comparison and wasn't pleased. Barb city's smaller building leaves less space to get away from other customers. The cloth covered couches are a no-go for me. When I visited I didn't really get much time to look around before the man at the front desk asked how he could help me. Gave me the impression I was under scrutiny. I wanted to look at the machines and see their prices but decided to ask about the quarter machine instead. I was going to ask what types of machines they have because 4th Street Laundromat offers dollar coins and quarters. When asking about quarter machines all I was told was that they're only available if you're doing laundry. I guess this place is stingy with their quarters. When I go to do laundry, I like to sit quietly by the machine I'm using in a hopefully clean chair and not be bothered by anyone else during my visit. I don't think this is the place for that if I have to ask to exchange cash for quarters. In terms of positives, the place did seem clean. I only noticed one other patron when I visited, and I think he might've been taking a nap so hopefully this place is often quiet. My preferred Laundromat is often louder than Barb City, but only due to being able to accommodate more customers. I also didn't get the chance to look for any vending machines for laundry products or snacks, which the 4th Street Laundromat does offer. I like to get a snack or a drink while I wait for my clothes. All in all, this could be a good place to visit depending on your preferences. They just don't offer what I'm looking for in terms of environment.

The place was dated, but clean, plenty of machines, reasonably priced, and the girl working was awesome. Very helpful and friendly. The new owners are working on updating and improving it.
I'm happy to say it's still a nice place to do laundry or simply drop it off and let them do it for you. Be sure to ask for a punch card to get your free load of laundry if you go there often.

I had them dry, clean a hanging quilt for me. Paid $28 . When I took it out of the plastic bag, they gave me. It looked like they threw it in the washer and possibly the dryer. Had more wrinkles in it. Just totally ridiculous.. Told them when I dropped it off. It was a wall hanging quilt. Will definitely never go back

The owner, Mr. Min is a very hard worker man, always with a smile, working above and beyond to keep his business running smooth. If you have a last minute  cleaning, he will make it happen for you. He knows so many people in town that he is my to go ask person when I need to find a service.

They were professional and did an excellent job cleaning my girlfriends giant comforter. However, the tenet that separates them from almost all other professionals in the service industry or people in general is their empathetic business approach. They are truly nice people who suggest the approach that is best for you, regardless of their own personal financial interest. In my case they inspected the comforter before offering their opinion on which method; dry cleaning or regular washing, would be the best choice for me. He noticed a few loose strings and pointed them out, and instead of using them as selling point for their most expensive option, gave me his honest opinion which was that regular washing would be okay. He did not take advantage of my obvious naivity, but was genuine with me and treated me with respect. These are the kind of people we should support, and this is the kind of business that should prosper.

Great prices. Professional and honest. The gentlemen that takes your order works 80 hours a week and knows everyone who walks in the door. He gives you an honest opinion of what your item needs. Besides clothes, they clean table clothes, comforters etc. If you're new to the area or you are just looking for a new cleaners, try them first.

I originally selected V.I.P. Cleaners based on price when I had to have 4 or 5 dress shirts pressed every week. That was over ten years ago, and they've always done a fantastic job. Even though I don't go through quite that many shirts anymore, I still won't go anywhere else. Convenient hours, friendly staff (every time!), and speedy service keep me coming back.

South 4th street Mega Grande Laundromat

WARNING!!!!!!! THEY WILL TOW YOUR CAR!! I have been using this laundry mat for the last 2 years, I have loved it because its always clean and the woman that works there is so friendly. BUT THEY WILL TOW YOUR CAR IF YOU PARK IN THE FRONT. For years it was ok for customers to park in front and unload and load their cars. There was never an issue before until today. I was inside for 2 MINUTES AND I WALKED OUTSIDE AND MY CAR WAS GONE. That is beyond predatory! There was another car sitting there also but they weren't towed??? Who knows how long they were sitting there for. I was stranded at this place with No phone Cause I thought oh I'll only be a minute dont need that to pick up my clothes. Then I was subjected to having to pay over $200 to get my car back THE WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS. This is disgusting behavior on the owners part, and predatory behavior on the tow companies part as the woman who works there says he likes to sit in the parking lot and wait for people. So I would suggest finding another location to do your laundry at because obviously the owners only care about money. So a $20 load of laundry turned into almost $300. Thanks jerks.

After spending close to $80 dollars in this establishment.  I pulled my vehicle up  in front due to me having over 8 large bags and doing laundry by myself  with my puppy so that I can load my car up. I loaded up first two bags and my puppy first and went back in to retrieve other bags . By the time I made it back out  which was all of 2 mins they had towed my vehicle while it was running with my puppy and laundry in it . They claimed that The owner of the establishment took a photo of my car earlier when I first came to unload 8 large bags BY MYSELF . There was no signs saying  “ No Stopping or Standing  or you couldn’t load or unload your clothes . Yes there is A No Parking sign but I was only there to Load up my car not park there. This cost me extra money just for being a customer at this establishment trying to make it easier on myself carrying heavy bags due to A back injury. I also had to deal with very Rude tow truck men who laughed at the fact That I was upset about something I clearly didn’t deserve . I do Not Recommend this place especially considering they don’t care about their customers . Many people walked up to me afterwards expressing anger of how this keeps happening to other PAYING CUSTOMERS. And this is not Fair . I won’t stop until everyone knows about this .

Emailed company 3 weeks ago regarding lost money in their machine. Provided them with photo, times, etc. so they could verify my request to get me my money back. Followed up with another email, but still no response and no money. Staff is there occasionally, but not the day we lost the money. I will not patronize any business that doesn't care about their customers, AKA, their bread and butter.  By not responding to my emails, they made their position quite clear regarding customer satisfaction.

Completely unprofessional. Your customers are the reason your bills are paid and the lights are on. Walking around giving hard attitude telling every customer in the laundry mat the business closed and to hurry up and get out is insane. $300 out of my pocket today just to be approached with hostility is absolutely insane. Close your business hours sooner if you don’t want the business or make it open 24/7 with how many people regularly are here late. The last person out was out 15 minutes past closing time it’s not like anyone was there another hour or 2. Calm down

Let’s start with the cleanliness of the place; you walk in and it smells of dirty mold and you look around everything is dirty. So many broke down machines cluttered up at the door. Went to put clothes in the washer, and couldn’t even bring myself to do so as the machine has hair and what looked to be mold around the seam of the machine. The floor is nasty. I get it it’s winter, but my goodness. I’m new to the area and wouldn’t bother to use this ever again. Disgusted with myself to even enter this place from just looking in the windows. Machines say out of order on quite a few. The sounds of the machines you would have thought they were going to literally explode. Let’s also bring up the fact that as I’m looking around, there’s an older lady that works there and starts walking up to dryers touching each dryer maybe checking to see if they are warm? I mean I get it your checking that stuff but with how many machines are broke down, why not have someone come fix them and take out the broke stuff? It’s cluttered, dirty and moldy. BBB will be contacted, as well as the health department will be contacted. I’ll take my business elsewhere and will pay more elsewhere as long as the place is clean, and not half the machines are broke down! Keep clean in sycamore is where it’s at!!
To the owner- I’m sorry it’s come to this, but for Christ sakes, get it together!! Also, your customer service sucks!

I’m currently washing here Machines are down and I’m out of three dollars. No one‘s here to refund me my money. This happened to me previously and total they owe me about $10. There’s no phone number listed anywhere here the one that I found on Google, which isn’t listed on their website, you have to search for, keeps ringing no one answer the dryers that I use were full of lent  even underneath inside of the machine the machines have mold in them and I can’t keep the dryer doors closed long enough to get my clothes dry so I’m out of more money than I expected. Someone needs to reach out to me immediately or post the number where we can contact to get a refund or I’m gonna have to have this place inspected. Also, the outlets they disconnect so you can’t plug your phone up or any of your device while you patronize their company. The bathrooms are always locked. There’s never attended here maybe once every blue moon.

Today, July 31, 2025, at 8:50 pm, finishing washing, I was just waiting for it to dry, I went out and the doors were closed and they had no way of communicating... my clothes are inside of the property.

Management was sitting in the laundromat making out with some man. Very inappropriate for my children to walk in and see. Not a very clean environment and half the washers and dryers are broken.

How I dislike this laundromat. I'm here now and so many dryers aren't drying clothes. Dryer # 18, 17, 10 and 11. There's no way to get my money back. I'm only here today because the other laundromat is closed. Oh and dryers are opening and so being a nice person I'm here closing it for other ppl. Also there's only 6 carts and ppl put their stuff in so you're left carrying your clothes to the table.

*Reply - You could have kept that slick comment to yourself. This has always been an issue, so please don't act as if this a new thing. Before I started going to a different laundromat I was coming to this location and out of all of 3 years your dryers haven't been working and plenty of ppl loss money because of it. So kindly fit your dryers or shut this place down. Better yet I'll just contact the BBB and they can handle this sorry place.
