We recently purchased a new home that smelled undelightfully like old people. The carpets were in decent shape but extremely old. I booked the services online and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the process was. I was told prior to his arrival that he will be en route. The whole process of 3 rooms and a hallway was only $124 and unfortunately due to decades without professional cleaning took 3 hours. It was amazing that Nate stayed until he was satisfied. It was a very easy process and fantastic results! I'm so happy with everything and I recommend this business to everyone!

My only recommendation would be to allow a custom tip amount because 30% wasn't enough for the amazing work and dedication that was done. Will be booking again for the downstairs and yearly cleanings.

I’ve lived in my house for over 12 years, and we had never replaced the carpets in the bedrooms. The staff is really nice and the i been going there since Sanitary cleaners closed. The only issue i have with them is 8 months ago I took in load clothes and it took me few months pick them up because i travel for work for living and when I picked up my clothes I've noticed pair my scrubs was discolored because they washed them instead of dry cleaning them. Lady dont know why person washed them instead of dry cleaning them so I talked with the manager and she told me that I could file a claim and that she was going email me information on where how ect. Week go by I haven't received anything and I call her back and she goes tell that I can't file claim now because it's past 45 day policy date of time of incident.  I was like well why didn't you tell me this the first time if this was such a thing ,and also I was missing items that I didn't receive and nothing could be done about that as well because of this so called 45 day policy.  when I go to get my last pickup I see these policy notes that I haven't seen before.  I get it things happen but Burke lost me as a customer.

Did a great job on my suit. Wish I would have asked them to check my buttons!

My visit was a nightmare.  They tried to give us curtains instead of my order.  Ittook them a week and a half to finally find my cleaning.  They acted like their losing our cleaning was our fault.  Never had a problem at George's who recently closed.  Never again. Had to take 3 trips to finally get our stuff.

I have been going here for many years and the staff is always very friendly and helpful.  Always happy with the service and the one stain that gave any trouble they did it over and got it out some how.

A very clean and well maintained laundry facility. The staff was very friendly and nice. While I was there, there was an older lady that was having a not of trouble figuring out how to use the machines. The staff member was so patient with her, and walked her through the process with a smile.

I’m sharing this to help save someone else from the frustrations I’ve had to deal with.

I’ve been a loyal customer at this dry cleaner for years, bringing in my clothes weekly without any issues. But back in July, I dropped off a full week’s worth of clothing to be cleaned. When I picked everything up, I took it home and hung it all without inspecting it — because after years of consistent service, I had no reason to expect a problem.

Fast forward to when I went to wear one of my pairs of pants. This pair normally has a stitched hem, but the hem had been removed — something that would have required physically tearing the fabric. As a result, a hole had been created in the pants.

Naturally, I went to the business to address the issue. One of the employees immediately told me she couldn’t help me and that I needed to return when the manager was available. There was no explanation of policy, no guidance, and no attempt at service recovery. When I finally got ahold of the manager, the situation somehow got worse. Instead of taking responsibility, she tried to shift the blame onto me and implied I had worn the pants and caused the damage myself — even though the hem was professionally stitched before and the tear was clearly from someone ripping it out.

After I made it clear how poorly this was being handled, she told me she would “look into it.” That was the last I heard from them for almost three months. No call, no update, nothing.

I eventually called them myself, only to be told the pants had been “sent back” and that no one knew why I was never contacted. When I asked why the claim was denied, I got the classic runaround: “That’s handled by another department.”

But then — in the same conversation — the manager claimed they “reviewed the footage” and said the pants already had a hole when I dropped them off.

Let me be clear:
That is a lie.
The pants were intact when I brought them in.

The excuses, the lack of accountability, the contradictory stories, and the three months of silence speak for themselves. If you value your clothes — or basic honesty — think twice before bringing anything here.

I have reported them to BOTH the IA Attorney General’s Office for Consumer Protection and the IL Attorney General’s Office for Consumer Protection. I also reported them to the FTC for NOT complying with the Fair Claims Act which they are required to, AND the Better Business Bureau. There is another complaint on there where the RUINED a lady’s $500 comforter set and then told her she was “being ridiculous” when she asked them for compensation WHICH IS HER CONSUMER RIGHT! WHEN THEY RUIN YOUR CLOTHES PLEASE REPORT THEM!! I’m about ready to file a class action law suit against them. This is ridiculous!

NO!! I DO NOT HAVE THE WRONG BUSINESS, PER THEIR REPLY! THE ATTENDANT (AFTER SEVERAL UNANSWERED PHONE CALLS) WAS MIRACULOUSLY ABLE TO FIND HIS NAME AND THE JACKET IN THEIR SYSTEM!

DO NOT!! Take ANYTHING here!! I dropped off a $300 Alpha Industries jacket, they did NOT remove the tag and washed it which removed ALL of the screen printing from it, and today I noticed the satin is COMPLETELY ripped in the arm— AND NO it was NOT Like this when I dropped it off I have only worn the jacket like 3 times. DO NOT LET ALLOW THEM TO CLEAN ANYTHING!!!!!! They won’t answer the phone…. I WANT A REPLACEMENT OR THE CASH FOR MY RUINED PROPERTY!!

Had someone remove my clothes from a dryer today while I ran across the street to Jewel.   I've not had this happen before but they put my laundry
in an empty dryer and used my time and the staff just said "that's crazy" and kept working.   This is after the place has wildly raised their prices, like, DRAMATICALLY.   I used to really like this place.

Unwilling to help in a time of need. Took my husband's suits in when we got into town after traveling from Colorado on a Wednesday. We were willing to pay extra for expedited service. They indicated maybe they'd be ready Friday afternoon, but more likely Monday. We explained that my father in laws funeral services were Friday afternoon. Her reply "no exceptions". Thanks so much for compassion.

Not the cleanest nor the cheapest, but when in a bind, it worked.  Someone came when I was here, and she cleaned the main surfaces, the bathroom and the carpets. Outside of machines could use more cleaning though.  Washing machines did a good job, they were the most expensive at 11.75 with a large machine or 3.75 with a very small machine. Dryers were the cheapest at .25 for 8 minutes...  not overly fast dryers, but did each load 4 times, which was a dollar- definitely better than the washers!!  I will add pictures of bathroom, machines and pay options.

4 different sizes of washing machines to choose from ranging from $3.75 up to $11.75 per load. Lots of big dryers, 9 minutes per quarter on them. Vending machine leaves a little to be desired but it's got a few things in it. Very clean all around from the machines to the bathroom. And then the most unique feature of them all...not a single out of order sign on any of the machines. So overall prices are about at the top end of average for the area, would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning to do my laundry here.

Change machine not working. I put a $10 bill in and it just took it and no change was given. Machine needs serviced and I would like my money back. I was unable to do my laundry . Now I have no clean work outfits for myself or my boyfriend.

The only good thing about this place is that the staff is friendly. I took my wedding dress there to get cleaned and it had a red stain on the top. I picked up the dress and once I got it home, I looked at it and realized the stain was still there. I called them and they said that they could not get the stain out. I took matters into my own hands and was able to get the stain out myself. I took it back there to get it cleaned again and when I picked it up, I noticed pink and black spots on the dress. I pointed the spots out and they said they would clean the dress again. I picked it up again and the spots were still there. I not only paid for my dress to get dry cleaned twice but they did a poor job both times. The second time I paid for it to get steamed and they shoved the bottom/train of the dress back in the bag so it is all wrinkly and it will have to get steamed again. I will not take anything here ever again.

I had my wedding dress altered and had many difficulties with that. After explaining my situation and going to another cleaner (who wouldn't even a rush fee), they were so kind to see and verify they could have my dress ready by tomorrow. I could not thank them enough for being able to prepare it within a few hours that same day I dropped it off. I really recommend their services.

Dutch way is the only cleaners in the QCA I’ll use. Not only are they more affordable but they do a better job handling my high quality garments; cocktail dresses, work suits, and a variety of blouses and items all have extended use thanks to proper dry cleaning.

Also, Tammy is awesome as others have written. She’s so sweet and always has a good joke or two for you when you drop off or pick up.

I took my wedding dress here. It had feathers and flowers, and lots of detail on it, so when I took it there, I took it out of the bag and showed them everything.  I asked them if they were confident they could handle a dress like this and they told me no problem, it will be done it a week.  3 days later, they called me and said my dress fell apart.  I went in to see it and they had pieces of my dress stuffed into a small plasic bag and stapled shut.  There was a rip in the dress, and a button and flowers all hanging by threads.  The dress is still dirty and they told me they thought maybe they could make it cleaner but more of the dress would fall apart.  They refuse to pay to repair the dress AND THEY ARE STILL CHARGING ME FOR THE CLEANING!!!! I have been round and round with them, lying, telling me it was not their fault, telling me my dress was ripped when I brought it in, telling me the dress was cheaply made....but never once telling me they were sorry that I brought my dress i,n in 1 piece, and I'm going to have to PAY to take it home in SEVERAL pieces...
