Terrible service! My mom is disabled and I am her caregiver, she wanted to surprise me and get a new zipper for my jacket that I have had for years. Ok, so it’s not an expensive jacket but it serves my needs and I’ve had it for years and besides the zipper is still in pretty good condition. She liked how they come to your place to pick up and drop off since we do not have a car, so he picked it up on Monday of last week and dropped it off last Thursday, but no new zipper, but still charged for a cleaning. My mom called today to tell them what happened and it just sounds like a bunch of kids that run the place. They said they could do it but they have to send it off and it would take 4-5 weeks, well I kind of need it. Will not use again.

called on a Saturday and the girl told me that they could take up a dress by this weekend. I go in on Monday on my lunch break and the girl tells me at the counter that they can’t do it because it’s a formal dress but the girl on the phone on Saturday said that they could, and they would have it done by this week and most likely. I go in and there’s a chubby girl with dark hair and she tells me they can’t do it and I told them they should tell their Saturday person that they can’t do those things and she said well that was me so she is confused. They don’t offer the services they say they do  If you need someone that will stand by a commitment, I would not go here

Last experience was not good so would rate less than a star rating because I had a $225 hat lost that was not recovered, hard to forget this experience. Claims inquiry was difficult to do and staff unresponsive.

Would give less than one star if that were possible. This use to be my dry cleaners of choice until I brought in 9 sets of drapes. They came back quicker than expected but now I believe that was because they were not cleaned. I spoke with the manager who took my info, pictures etc. and said she would get back to me...this was at the end of Jan. Mid February I called back and she said the owner was on vacation so she would get back with me...beginning of March I called, promised I would hear back. This went on for quite some time. They never bothered to call me back even when I elevated to the complaint dept. Extremely poor quality and customer service. I finally got a letter in May saying "too bad", they ever had the courtesy to have a discussion with me, which is probably what I am most upset about...they do not care about the customer!!!

Been a customer of Burke's for years. I went to drop some items recently and the worker demonstrated the new automated system to me. Unfortunately, my items are missing. Not only did I not receive a text saying my clothing was dropped off, but never got one they were ready as well. When I stopped by to ask to ask if they were ready after several days, there was no record of them having received them. I called headquarters in Davenport. They "investigated" and could not find them. I was told I must be mistaken and to take an inventory of my uniforms at home.

I am disgusted. They have lost me as a customer. Nobody owned up to the possibility that there could have been a fault in their system.

I literally handed the worker my clothing and she entered it in their system.

No accountability from Burke's or their employee. I guess they can't make mistakes and the customer is wrong!

We took in curtains to be cleaned and they came back shredded. Went back to store and they stated we signed a release. We then asked that they refund the $410 they charged us to destroy our curtains. Manager said they would check with owner but they never contacted us or returned our calls. Worst business I have ever had the displeasure of  dealing with in my life. I would have given them zero stars if I could. Don’t expect them to compensate you for any damages. They have a reputation of dishonesty and definitely live up to it. Avoid this business!

Ok, so I took a pair of white jeans to be cleaned - they had two spots and I said when I dropped them along with other items that almost everything had stains that need to be treated.
The stains were still there when I brought them home and so I sprayed the stains with Oxy Stain Remover and the stains came out.  I think at almost $10 an item, there should be a better way to address stains and I would like to have my money back for the jean's cleaning.  I spent over $90 total this time.  Not very happy.

My experiences with Burke Cleaners at both the Davenport and Bettendorf stores has been excellent! Now, living at the Summit and having the Pickup & Delivery services is great!! Thank you for your consideration and thoughtfulness...and kudos to the staff!!

It was updated from the pictures posted: no carpet, new tables and seating, different configuration, cute epoxy floor. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. I was surprised at how quickly my laundry was done. The machines took only quarters, but there was an atm and a cash to quarters machine if someone needed it. The bathroom was huge, single person, handicap accessible, and super clean. There was a bar top when I walked in to the right and a door to a nail salon to my left. I probably could have gotten pop if I wanted to. (I was there at 9 am.) They had a machine with snack sized candy bars in it for a quarter. The person working there was kind. The nail salon looked cute and the prices were reasonable. I appreciated the carts they had to put laundry in to wheel it around. Awesome!!

Poor customer service. While bringing my clothing inside on my first visit an employee came out to tell me I couldn’t bring the rolling basket outside and proceeded to roll it back inside. I have a several huge containers filled with clothes that were super heavy and an injury plus a toddler all by my self. I tried to tell her I was just going to use it to roll the clothing inside because these reasons. She said it didn’t matter. Didn’t wanna listen to anything I had to say and continued to walk inside. I retrieved the one basket I already took inside and promptly yet to my normal place where the employee will hold the door open as I roll my basket out and bring it back in for me because she sees I have quite the load with a toddler! Glad I didn’t spend my money here, I stopped out of convenience of location on this particular day but definitely will not be back.

Great place, very clean.  It's a laundromat with a bar! And a nail salon :)

Been using this laundromat for almost 1 year, up until today when 4 pairs of jeans and pair of sweatpants came out covered in rust. Owner states they will wash them for me and see if they can get it out but when it doesn't come out, blame you saying that it came from you..told me that I am responsible to inspect the dryers before each use. Oh and 'Sorry, accidents happen?!!" Beware..
