First machine I tried was out of order, but not marked as such, and wouldn't return my quarters. 1/3 of the machines are marked out of order besides. Vending machines are broken and were sticky-noted with explanations instead of fixed. Badly run to an abusive degree, probably only survives because it fills a bottom-feeder niche with low operation and staffing costs.

Also, the soda I got from the vending machine was expired.

There's always something to do if you're the person working there. You may have to call a number of times but don't give up. The place is huge and they have one very huge machine. They offer dry cleaning services that are not on location. My advice would be to call and get a quote. They always have two coin machines and there are a few machines that take credit cards but no dryers take credit cards, nor debit cards. Very polite prompt and quick service for wash and fold. Thank you light house laundry for having a public bathroom. 🚻

I use this place for their wash and fold service but have not done laundry here in over a year. How times have changed!!! Not that long ago this WAS a clean and well lit 24 hour laundry. NOT any more!!! Recently this place was purchased by the company that owns the Lighthouse Laundry at Cooks Corner. It still has the Sunshine Center sinage. It is now dirty and cluttered inside and out. The  overgrown flowerbeds should have been a clue to what we could expect inside. A mop and a broom could dramatically improve the interior. At my last visit 11 of the the 32 washing machines and 7 of the 32 dryers were out of service. The exhaust fan is a fire hazard. Although the sinage says there should be, there was no attendant present between 10:30 and noon on a Sunday morning. I saw several people come to drop off wask and fold but left because there was no attendant to take it. I hope the owners take notice and turn this place around or another laundromat opens in the area that offers a wash and fold service.

This entire summer we have had problems dropping off or picking up our wash and fold laundry with the attendant not being at the store (outside of the 1-2 PM lunch break). We have to travel a fair distance to the store and to find we cannot pick up or drop off our laundry is a big problem. Prior to this year service has been good, but this summer it has been terrible at the Brunswick location. This is no way to run a business.

Nice facility, clear signage, pricey machines, helpful staff. I haven’t gone to a laundromat in a long time. Be patient with the machines, sometimes they act up when you’re trying to start them. No refunds period, but they were able to move me to a different machine thankfully 🙏

My son needed someone to care for his clothing because he has been working a tremendous amount of hours. He did not want me to touch his dry cleaning/ laundry... I took them to eco cleaners and the gentleman behind the counter,( because I told him I would really like to have them as soon as possible my son truly did not want me to do this), allowed me to pick them up 2 day turn around. And he did not charge me more for the quick turnaround. The price was super reasonable. I have looked at other places that were very expensive, more than what I paid for the men's button up garments I brought in to be dry cleaned. I've got three ladies jackets some garments garments I bought at Walmart that cost me $10 plus tax. They would have charged me $15 to dry clean them there, which is more than I was willing to spend. I was grateful to have an opportunity to ask and get the truth. Thanks eco cleaners for making this journey easy on me.😁

Super disappointing first time customer experience. Dropped off a shirt and it came back with cuff half torn off. It definitely wasn’t that way at drop off. The owner was very ornery about it, insisted it couldn’t have happened there and then handed me the shirt and walked off (leaving me with the cashier). I would even have paid to have them sew it back on, but there was zero chance for conversation. Won’t be back.

Had a bad experience start to finish. I called to see if they could have this suit jacket done by a certain date and they said yes. When I dropped off they said it would be done by noon. I show up at noon and it’s not done and they ask me to come back at 2 which was very inconvenient as we were heading out of town for a wedding. When I pick it up, he says the charge is 13.50 but accidentally charges my card for $1350.00 and laughs about it like it’s no big deal and has to call someone speaking in another language to fix it leaving me not confident at all. I decide to pay cash and we rush out for the wedding.
The day of the wedding my husband goes to put the jacket on to discover it’s ruined. So he had no jacket to wear to the wedding. Extremely disappointing!

Don't use this dry cleaners. They close randomly stranding your clothes in there. If there is any issue AT ALL, the owner and staff refuse to answer any questions as to why, refuse to compensate you, and are overall incorrigible. I will never use them again and will happily take my business to Pratt & Abbott.

This laundry used to be clean, we'll lit, had modern functional washers and dryers, and was staffed with friendly helpful attendants. Since Lighthouse's purchase of the Sunshine Center Laundry on Pleasant Street it is no longer any of that. The same goes for the Sunshine Center. We have a local business and have relied on both of these laundries for their wash and fold service. The last several times we have tried to drop off laundry during their normal hours of operation there was no attendant so we washed the laundry ourselves. This was made challenging because several of the washer and dryers were out of service. The machines only took coins or a mobile app, no credit or debit cards. This is a college town with lots of rentals, if this business can't provide this community a reliable service they should sell the business to someone that can. The remaining in town option is Mr Suds. They will have all of my future business or I will go out of town to do our laundry.

What a fiasco at least 12 broken washers. Many dryers not working. The App wasn’t updated so I had to add extra money to get the washers started. The time to wash and dry was significantly less on the machines than the app said.  So prices are going up up and the time is going down down and so many washes and dryer are not working. This leaves me, wondering if the machines are working well enough to get laundry even clean. Very frustrating. I would think the fact that you own seven ( I think) laundromats you could have a maintenance person about to at least try to give your customers a better experience.

I  was here three weeks ago and many of the same machines were out of order then. Poor business practice.
Also machine #11 took my money but wouldn’t start. ($6.00). I put in a request for refund online and I can’t even tell if you received it or not.

Also, the fact that the prices to do laundry are going up many people like myself still prefer the smaller loads - seems like now all you want to provide are much larger washers and dryers - not what all families need!!!  Larger machines more $ less options.

So thankful for Molly or I would have left. She had to deal with many many frustrated people in the 2 hours. I was there.  Also, being nice.  A few people were so frustrated they left. Many customers had problems with machines even accepting the quarters - she was running from customer to customer the entire time I was there while trying to do customers laundry.  Shes a keeper!!!

It’s unbelievably frustrating to spend over $50 to do laundry and be frustrated with sub par machinery and options.

Unless things significantly change by next week I will definitely go to a laundry owned by someone else.

Here we go again. Put all my money in the app. I had to go get cash to get Coin so it cost me double today. Then when I get here there’s no note on the machine, but the pay ranges won’t accept or charge me double. Again, please things aren’t working properly. Don’t allow the pay range until it is.

I miss the previous owners when the attendants were there for years, ALWAYS there and friendly and helpful.  It was clean and all machines functioning.  I started using them 5 years ago: for two years I did it myself, and for the last few have been dropping off my laundry for “wash, dry and fold” service.  Since this past spring the help is spotty, many times there is no attendant on duty. Many machines aren’t working, and most of the chairs for patrons to use have disappeared.The prices have gone from the website advertised $1.95 per pound to $3.00 per pound.  I have tried to drop off many times but never find anyone there.
I ran into the owner one time and commented that there was often no one there: she said “it’s hard to get help-no one wants to work”.  Hmmm. Never seemed to be a problem for the previous owners!

I had 2 sleeping bags and pillows   to wash and found Lighthouse Laundry. We wanted the large washer which needs an app. Molly, who was attending was so helpful and helped us get set up quick without the app. She also advised to not use the dryer for the sleeping bags as they could melt. I appreciated her letting us know. No problem. It was a sunny day for air drying! Everyone was friendly and a customer even help me figure out how to shut the door. One quick large load and onward to our next adventure! Thanks Lighthouse, we will be back!

I had 2 pants with very small holes in the seam repaired and dry cleaned should have been no more than 30 dollars I was charged 60 dollars. I spoke to the manager to ask if I was possibly over charged and she barked no that is our price, I would never recommend this place to anyone!

Let me tell you about this place!  I am in the armed services.  So I had an event that required me to be in my service dress uniform, it had been stowed and unworn for quite some time.  I brought it down to Brunswick plaza dry cleaners.

First off, let's talk about the employees customer service... It's outstanding!!! The staff greet you with a warm welcome, and take specific care to address your cleaning needs.

So the service and organization:  Also spot on!  They were able to provide speedy turnaround on my uniform blazer, dress shirt and trousers in two days!  And they were impeccable.

In summation, the team that runs shop at Brunswick Plaza Dry Cleaners are doing it the right way!  Absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of awesome dry cleaning and laundering services.  Just fantastic!
