They have all new machines accommadating very large to regular loads. And, the machines take quarters and credit/debit cards. The dryers work beautifully . Prices are lowest in the Kennebunk/Kennebunkport area. Staff very nice. They keep machines clean.

I love the people who work here, but whomever the OWNER is has this place so mismanaged its unbelieveable.  There is no consistancy with store hours and even being open.  I try to jam laundry in at 7am before work and today i get there and hours were changed to 8am-5pm....Everyone is working at that time!  Closed randomly on the weekends when they're supposed to be open.   I eneded up going to superwash in Wells and getting a payment card which will keep me going back there (smart on them having a loyalty/money card).   The OWNER of this pratt abbott location needs to 1.Charge more for their machines ($2.75 is great but I'd rather pay $5 and have you be open when i need it!).  2. FIX the broken machines and get a few larger ones.  3. PAY their employees better and or get another staff member who can help keep consistant hours. YOU'RE NOW LOSING CUSTOMERS DUE TO POOR MANAGEMENT.  YOU'RE WORKERS ARE GREAT,  AND THATS HARD TO FIND SO BUILD OFF OF THAT!

This place is great when its open, but they have failed me on several occations now and I think I'll just have to make superwash in wells my place because of this inconsistancy.  Figure it out!

Employees were very pleasant and professional. The turnaround time was quick. I need to update this review for the most recent transaction: I was charged $32.00 for one queen blanket to be washed only. Be careful when you bring anything in!

I have had very good experiences at Pratt Abbott. The place is clean, the machines are mostly in good condition and work well. The washing machines and dryers are very reasonably priced. The automatic entrance doors took some time to get use to, but I realized how helpful they are and now I like them alot. The staff has always been friendly! The shortened hours are inconvenient but understandable. I recommend Pratt Abbott.

Clean and well maintained. Every machine works as expected. The wash dy and fold service make my job easier.

Clean and easy to access laundry. Priced a little on high side but many washers and dryers of various sizes.

Actually zero stars for dry cleaning since they don’t do it.  Go somewhere  else if you need dry cleaning.

This is by far the best laundromat I’ve ever been to. It’s clean, usually pretty quiet, and the staff there is just awesome. On my most recent outing, I dropped my car/house keys between the washing machines and Christine, the attendant there, spent a half hour trying to get them out (and she was successful). I realized at that point that these are genuinely good people who run a great business, and the world needs to know to support them.

Definitely recommend this spot. Nice and Clean, well maintained. 👍

These guys are my regular cleaners. The two primary staff members on the weekend are super friendly, helpful and very efficient. They do require cash and pre-payments at certain levels. I guess thats to prevent people from running up a big tab and leaving their items there for a long period of time. Totally fine. Over the past couple of months I’ve gone at times when they were supposed to be open and they were closed. That wasn’t great because I drive about 24 minutes to get there. I made them aware. It seemed to be a staffing issue with one employee that was fixed. Pricing is a little bit on the high-end, but there aren’t many other options locally. It’s a good option for the local market.

I recently took a night gown in to be hemmed, and they wanted $37.50 to do a simple hem job.   I don't think so.  The lady working there didn't seem keen to take in the work either, and instead tried to pawn me off on another seamstress who I was told was local, but is not local.

These guys did a great job with my stuff.  Dress shirts, slacks, suit coat, down comforter - all came out great.  They got my white dress shirt whiter than it haas been in years.  Parking lot laout is a little odd, in on one side, then circle around to leave on the backside.

Will be bringing all my drycleaning here from now on.  Great Job.

I brought them my cotton and lace wedding dress in September 2014 and when I put it on for the ceremony I discovered that it was torn and no longer a beautiful off-white, but rather a bright white with yellowing splotches in some areas, as if they had bleached the garment but then the pigment gathered. I have no idea what happened, but the dress did not look right. I had worn it just once previously, and it was in fine condition when I brought it in for freshening before a second event in the area. Alas, I wore the dress with the hole in the front for my local wedding.

Worse, perhaps, was that when I took it back to the cleaners to ask what had happened and to request that they make it right, I was scolded and verbally abused by the owner of the shop who took no responsibility and insisted it was my fault. After a tense and unpleasant debate, we were able to get him to have the dress repaired but the whole experience was stressful and upsetting.

I will not use their services again, despite now living in a town where this company is the primary dry cleaners. I would have given them a second chance if only they had been civil and had taken responsibility after the incident with the wedding dress. In this case, a simple apology would have been a fine place to start, especially given that it was too late to make it right for the wedding itself.

Brought in a garment needing easy alterations. Got it back completley wrong. The tailor was never there to fix it. The level of experience displayed was highly lacking. Honestly for the amount of money spent (which they didn't comp me for multiple errors on their part) you would think they know a thing or two. Pay for what you get doesn't apply here. Overpay and get the opposite should be their slogan. Might as well throw your piece of clothing in the trash after you pick it up. Then take it out of the trash and let your dog use it as a chew toy. Once That's done you can put it on and smile knowing it looks better than if you brought it here.
