Acct# OA 4751- I’ve used OakHill Dry Cleaning twice for laundry and ironing pick up service. While the first experience was fine, during my second pickup I was unexpectedly charged dry cleaning prices for three shirts that were only meant for wash and press. All shirts were clearly labeled for machine washing—none required dry cleaning.
Worse, one of the shirts that was dry cleaned came back damaged—the seam lines (see pics attached), likely made of a different fiber, turned noticeably darker than the rest of the shirt. I contacted them through their website, left two voicemails, and submitted a direct complaint requesting a refund for the $30 overcharge and compensation for the damaged item. I have yet to receive any response.
Very disappointed, especially from a BBB-accredited business. Poor communication and lack of accountability have cost them my future business.

An extremely average experience. We only used the wash/dry/fold for a few weeks. One week we received items in our washing that weren't our own, and two weeks after we stopped sending clothes to be washed I received a few extra items back that I didn't notice had been missing. Who knows if they lost anything else because we sent a lot of stuff while waiting for our new washer. We had initially used them for some drycleaning a while back which seemed fine, however we will be moving on to a more organized shop now.

My delicate antique wedding dress came out beautifully. I was worried that it might not go thru the cleaning process well due to its age and intricate lace work, I was wrong ! Oak Hill did incredible work and the dress looks brand new. The owners are friendly and kind.
I highly recommend them!

The quality of the dry cleaning itself was fine, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. Being new to the area, this was only my second visit—and unfortunately, the woman at the counter was quite rude. She made an unnecessary comment about my garment bag not being one of theirs, which felt a bit unwelcoming.

I also called three days after drop-off to politely ask if my items might be ready early (knowing the original ticket said six days), and was met with a condescending reply: ‘No, you should’ve dropped it off earlier if you needed it by Monday.’ I understand if items aren’t ready early, but there’s no need to make a customer feel foolish for simply asking.

Given the high cost of dry cleaning, I expected a more courteous interaction. We’ll be looking for a different cleaner moving forward

Extremely poor, extremely poor customer service. Had to say that twice. Extremely expensive curtains that came back twice still With stain and pressed completely different than what I requested. Buyer beware!

I’ve been going to this dry cleaner for over 20 years. I dropped off a full sized comforter with a very small tear in it less than an inch in length. I picked up my comforter today and the bill was $63-$15 for the repair and 43 for dry cleaning.
I could buy a new comforter for this amount. I find this amount outrageous and I will never ever go back to Pratt Abbott in Scarborough. Their greed cost them a customer.

Had a few things cleaned and tailored.
They were ready on date promised.
Very attentive towards the tailoring and left a note with what they did.
No problems at all. Great service.

Always a delight to visit this location. Such a friendly and efficient operation. Our clothing are always ready when promised. Been customer of PA for over 30 years.
