It was only my first time using Best Cleaners to shorten a dress I had purchased. I was pleased with the job and the girl at the counter was very pleasant. I haven't tried on the dress yet, but I'm sure the length will be fine. I showed and pinned how much I wanted it taken up. I was told it would take a month but had it back within the week. I was notified by a text that it was ready, which was nice. Thank you.

Everyone at the Delmar site was friendly and helpful. To me that meant a lot because I was a new customer, but they didn’t know that at the time. I would certainly recommend them. They were charged with cleaning and antique tablecloth and matching napkins and did a beautiful job.

When I first contacted Best Cleaners, they quoted me at $20 to fix a small hole in a pair of jeans. I dropped them off, and then returned two weeks later after being notified they were ready. When I picked up the jeans, I was unexpectedly charged $30. The issue wasn't really the price; it was the unexpected increase which didn't sit right with me on principle.

I love Best Cleaners. Professional, courteous, exemplary staff. My coat was repaired and cleaned 2 weeks earlier than expected, and the prices are hard to beat. With late hours (open until 7pm!), they are accessible to nearly everyone for availability during the day. My family and I have used them several times, and they were even able to help out some of my coworkers in a last minute need of dry cleaned suits. Highly recommend!!

The staff here are very helpful and efficient, and friendly.  They didn’t used to be.  So, good job hiring and retaining some good people.  The prices have gone up, but so has the entire world.  I get my dress shirts done here and they’re perfectly cleaned and pressed every time; no issues ever.  I’ve also had laundry done with them (Wash ‘n Fold) and the price for that is a bit steep but it’s good for occasionally or for huge blankets that won’t fit in my washer. Handy Dandy Dry Cleaners is my absolute go-to spot in Delmar. I won’t take my clothes anywhere else! They are consistently friendly, professional, and genuinely care about the quality of their work. Everything comes back looking perfect — clean, crisp, and beautifully pressed.

They’re reliable, quick, and always so kind when you walk in. It’s such a great feeling knowing I can completely trust them with everything from everyday pieces to special items.

This is one of the worst dry cleaning experiences I’ve ever had. I gave them two silk fabrics to be dry cleaned. They had washable marker stains—the kind that normally comes out easily with  dry cleaning and i have done this many times.

When I picked them up, I was shocked. They didn’t even touch them. The fabrics were in the exact same condition as when I dropped them off—same stains, same folds, everything. It was painfully obvious that no dry cleaning was done at all.

What makes this worse is that they lied to my face and claimed the items were put on cleaning. Charging a customer and then lying about a service you never performed is completely unacceptable and dishonest. They took 3 extra days and took extra money for the fabric itself.
If they couldn’t do it, they should’ve told me, i would go somewhere else.

If you value your clothes, your money, or basic honesty, stay far away from this place. I would never trust them with clothes —or anything—again.

The gentlemen at Handy Dandy are extremely helpful and accommodating for my husband in a time of need for a funeral. They were kind and compassionate and the clothes came out to perfection. Highly recommend. Thank you, Handy Dandy!

An absolutely amazing place.  I have had 2 bridesmaids dresses hemmed and taken in for myself and Um did an absolutely incredible job!  It only made sense that I would go there when I got married.  6 months ago Um did all the work on my wedding dress including all 6 of my bridesmaids, my mothers dress, my fathers suit as well as both of my nieces dresses.  She is so kind and knows her way around a sewing machine!  We had a little last minute issue 3 days before the wedding and she jumped right in to help.  I highly recommend Sunshine Cleaners and I'll always go there for all my tailoring needs!

I brought in a bridesmaids dress that was ordered online. Needed to be hemmed quite a bit, multi layer fabric. Also needed the bust let out 2 inches to zip around the middle. And asked for a hook be added above the zipper. Worth every penny. The dress I got back was perfect for me.  2 week wait. Would absolutely go back.
