Plenty of parking, I feel when people say its clean they mean its not messy looking which is true but I'm wondering when is the last time they cleaned the lint box or washing machine bc when you lift parts of that up, it is a little gross.

Wish they had a stool to see when using the larger washing machines.

I came in to wash my comforter.queen size. Used cold delicate $6.75 Set my timer, and when I came to check, it was still going, I guess our timers are different.

Used dryer. Cost/time changes depending on the temp you're using. But that's all laundromat. Used high heat.I think it's 25ç/6-8 min. I just know I spent $2ish. I did for 55 min and was still damp afterward in places. Overall, it was OK.

SN those complaining about a bathroom, this is a laundromat.That's not an expectation.I don't blame them.That'll be one more thing for them to have to clean up, & people are nasty. If you need to use the bathroom bad, go to Wawa.

Need to service the large drier.  Dried our load of clothes three times and still not dried. Tried different machines. About a hour of drying.

I’ve been coming to this laundromat for a while, but today I went to take my clothes out of a washer and 2 roaches crawled out, while another scurried across the floor. Absolutely disgusting and now I have to throw those items away. I’m not risking bringing those clothes home, and I’m definitely wary about the rest of my clothes. Unacceptable.

Bright and clean. Opens at 6:00am. Very convenient hours and close to Pilot Travel Center. Plenty of washers and dryers. Owner is very personable and helpful. Next to Wawa for gas, food, and restrooms. Always have a good experience here.

We have used their alterations service twice and the owner is very professional, friendly, and reasonably priced.
The first time, my daughter needed alterations for a dress purchased for Ring Dance.
He proposed two different methods, at two price points, and though we went with the more costly option, I do like that he offered a less costly method since it was a dress that would only be worn once.
We recently purchased her Prom dress, and discovered this morning  that the seam below the back zipper had opened in a section about 2 inches long.
Not only did the owner do the repair on the spot today, but he did it at no charge!
I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing alterations or repairs - you will not be disappointed!

I had some stains on a jacket that another cleaner could not get out.  Poe's not only got them out; but, the jacket looks like new.

They do a beautiful thorough job at a reasonable cost!

Had two suites clean  and a   pair of paints. One suit wasn't clean and pair of paints not clean. They wanted to charge me to clean the suit when I carried it back.  I will not be doing business with them again.  Poor service and por customer service

I took a king sized comforter to get cleaned and, while the man who seems to be running it by himself or with little help is super nice which is the only reason it’s not one star, when I picked up it smelled just as musty as when I dropped it off. It was still covered in dog hair and had caked on dirt in the same spot if not more than when I dropped it off. I’m sure they just refolded it and put it in a plastic bag. He told me they cleaned it as best they could but when I took it to a laundromat, one wash and dry had it perfectly clean. I’m not sure if my experience was a one off or not and I’m not sure how they work with clothing but I don’t recommend taking bedding here.

Overall great place to have alternations done however, it is a bit overpriced compared to other alteration shops. This would be a last resort location in the future. I paid $65 to have the sleeves on a dress hemmed and the drape around the neck hemmed. In my past experience a service like this may cost you $35 maybe $40 overall. Great work on the alterations just not at a reasonable price.

I just tried to ask some questions they just hang up in your.  How can you get business with rude customer service bo.

I hadn't thought of asking for the military discount when I dropped a dress off. Well I picked it up  and I did ask and he said that he did give me the military discount, (even though he would have no way of knowing to put that on my bill) Yet, the lady in front of me had a dress that she picked up... and it was a formal one and her dress was way cheaper than mine.  I indicated that the military discount wasn't put in place or I was charged inaccurately, because my dress was so expensive. It had a very slim belt and he charged me for two pieces... and he just said the price was the price. He was extremely rude. I won't be going back

I am very disappointed with the services that I have recently received from Johnson Cleaners, 1919
Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia. I was in the process of wearing one of my shirts that I had recently picked up from the cleaners. The shirt that I wanted to wear was ruined. It looked as though something was spilled all across the shoulder and front collar.
The next day I took the shirt back to the cleaners and showed the laundry person (Sheila) that my shirt had been destroyed. Sheila advised me that she would show the shirt Sidney Johnson (owner) and to come back in a couple of days.
A couple of days had gone by, and I stopped back by to check on the status of my shirt. Sheila told me that the clear shirt bag that covered the shirt did not match the ticket numbers that was attached shirt and Sidney Johnson would not give any type of monetary value. Sheila then told me that she would work out providing me with a credit because otherwise her hands were tied. Sheila further stated that if I wanted to receive a monetary value, I would have to provide the shirt bag that matched the tag attached to the shirt. Sheila told me that Sidney Johnson said that some other cleaners may have destroyed the shirt since other cleaners use the same shirt tags. I have been using Johnson Cleaners for over a year. Basically, I was being called a liar since I used the wrong bag to return the shirt.
On February 10, 2025, I returned to the cleaners with the correct shirt bag that matched the tag attached to the shirt. Again, I met with Sheila, and she advised me that Sidney Johnson said he didn't care about my shirt being purchased from Jos A Bank, he would only give me $27.50.
I purchased this shirt along with some other items from Jos A Bank and the cost of this shirt was $55.00. Needless to say, I did not accept their offer for $27.50.
I am very disappointed with their business practice, and I will never use their services again.

Don't know why I even bothered giving this place a second chance. I had stop using them years ago but for some reason I thought I give them a chance since they are local. BIG, HUGH, stupid mistake. Quality our their work still HORRID.
My recommendation is that you never step foot in the place. I have been using cleaner weekly for 39 years and by far JOHNSONS CLEANERS on the Boulevard in Colonial Heights is the worse ever.

I've been doing business with Johnson's for 30 years and have never had anything but exemplary service.   Clothes have always been cleaned properly and on time.

Johnson's dry cleaning has destroyed my   jacket and will make no attempt to repair the damage. I don't recommend their service.Customers be aware, this is the worst dry cleaners horrible service, dirty machines, unfriendly staff.

Honesty, didn’t encounter any issues.
Not many cost effective dry cleaning options in RVA region so was somewhat pleased to discover Johnson’s. Good hours and piece to have button shirt(s) cleaned is on par with zips.
Suit prices are a different story, but I understand they have to churn out a revenue.
