Superb service with a personal touch- Mike and his wife have taken excellent care of me on several occasions, and prices reflect a deep understanding of the financial “challenges” of college years. They even willingly expedited some dry cleaning I needed without much notice. Enjoyable conversation and talented artistry for purchase as an added bonus! Highly recommend if you are nearby and need dry cleaning service!

Mike is a zipper master! He offered a suggestion for how he could fix the broken zipper on a dress I brought in and he was able to provide a quick, workable solution. Overall, I received excellent customer service and it was such a joy to learn the history of the dry cleaning business (and his pizza box art!) while the dress was being repaired. I will be bringing my dry cleaning to Jet's from now on!

I have dry cleaned with them multiple times and am usually very happy with the speed and result.

The stars are lost for my experiences mending/altering with them. I have had three items  altered over the last two years or so: a pair of jeans that was too big that needed resizing, a puffer jacket where the stitching had come undone on one of the sleeves, and a different pair of jeans that had ripped around the back pocket.

Every single time, I have received a call a few days after drop-off to explain some technical process they’ll have to do to fix my garment and that because of that process they have to charge me more money. Then they ask if I’m okay with that before they proceed, mind you at this point I have already paid the original mending fee because you have to pay at drop-off.

The last two times (jacket and ripped jeans), the extra charges were because they had to sew the jacket from the inside or something so it wouldn’t show, and they had to partially remove the pocket to repair under it then re-attach it. I don’t sew or anything but those don’t sound all that complicated so I’m not sure what my original mending fee was even paying for. But with those, I dropped them off at the New Haven location and I know the mending isn’t done on sight so maybe they wouldn’t know the exact amount it would cost.

But with the first pair of jeans, when the New Haven location explained that they didn’t have the master tailor on site, I ubered to the Milford location for him to pin them on me to make sure they came out perfect. The tailor himself worked with me and we discussed how much we would bring them in and take them up and throughout this whole process he is either pinning the pants with me wearing them, or holding them himself examining them. I pay, leave, and then later receive a call saying that actually it would be x amount extra (it was 2023 so I don’t remember) to take them in because of something with the pocket I think. The pricing with the mending just feels very arbitrary.

I was further annoyed with my most recent pair of jeans as I noticed that two other holes that I hadn’t pointed out/noticed upon drop-off were present on the other back pocket. I understand that it wasn’t what I had specifically asked to be fixed, but why would I want a pair of pants with holes on either side of the back pocket when I’m bringing it to be repaired because of a rip that started out as a hole on the side of the pocket. I know I can’t be that mad about this specific issue as, again, I did not ask for that to be addressed, but if they can call me to ask for more money (thrice), I feel like I could’ve been called to ask if I wanted those fixed as well.

When I was examining the ripped jeans before paying the extra $11 and pointed out the holes, the woman assisting me said that that wasn’t what I had asked them to fix (fair and true) but when I asked if I could send them back she said I would have to pay the $11 first, then she would have to process it as a new transaction. At that point I just paid the $11 and left because it would have probably been another $30 charge and a call the next day saying that they would have to take off the pocket to fix the other side so it would cost another $11.

This is just a frustrating situation because I have recommended you to multiple friends as the best dry-cleaner in New Haven with very reasonable prices, but I do not feel confident saying the same for mending and repairs.

I brought my wool coat here to be dry cleaned as I brought a dress here years ago that they did a good job dry cleaning. Upon pick up, the texture of my wool coat was RUINED! When I confronted them about it they stated that it’s just part of the risk you run when you dry clean a fabric. I was given the Milford store number to speak to a manager, they told me to call back to speak with the manager, upon call back the manager still wasn’t available and I was told to call the New Haven store which stated there isn’t the slightest thing they can do I should call the Milford store again to speak with the manager or owner. They’re claiming it’s because they ran it through the dry clean cycle twice. However no other portion of my coat has this texture! They aggravated the fabric to the point that it has ripples and refuse to make it right. Still waiting to talk to a manager, will update with a resolution

UPDATE: I called the Milford store again to speak with the owner, they were once again unavailable. I was offered to have my coat cleaned again. However, my coat was ruined in their care so I’m reasonably hesitant. I was asked what resolutions I’m looking for and I stated repair or replacement and I was told the owner said no to that, I asked how they could know as I just asked the question seconds ago they stated that it was “never an option, best they can do is to clean it again, it’s up to me” I asked when and how I can reach the owner they said that they don’t know when the owner will be in, I asked when I should call back they stated they are unsure. I asked if I should call on the hour daily  in hopes of catching the owner and I was told that I should do so if I want to. The attendant was being short with me and was only looking to get me off the phone giving responses like “okay”, “sure” “if that’s what you’d like to do” once again I asked if the owner had a phone number or email. The owner suddenly had an email to be contacted by which was shared with me. I will reach out again but I’m not hopeful as this establishment seems to have a bent sent of morals. If you damage an item the least you can do is repair it or replace it.

The team at Executive cleaners are top notch! Clem was so wonderful to work with and was very knowledgeable about the process. I took my wedding dress to them and they cleaned it beautifully! It was dirty around the edges at the bottom from all the walking around. The sides on the right and left had some staining from dragging on the dance floor and they made it look brand new!!! They packaged it in a fireproof, waterproof box, so I know it is protected. I am so happy with how it came out and can’t wait to see the dress again when I pull it out to frame it in a few years. I will absolutely use them for any dry cleaning in the future!

Amazing. I will always come here for all my dry cleaning needs.  No matter what they will always take care of your clothes, no matter the brand. The prices are fair and service is amzing and quick. They just take of everything and even clean your Uggs. I highly recommend.

Above and beyond in customer service.  I dropped of a formal gown that I needed the next day.  When I went to pick up my gown, it was not at the location. The woman from the Milfred store drove to New Haven right away and brought me my gown.  I was so impressed by that level of customer service and recognizing my urgent need!  I will continue all my business with them as a new customer, as well as recommend them to everyone I know!
