Horrible communication.  They never returned my 80 year old mother’s coat after they had it for a month and we asked for it back.  They asked for our address and said they would drop it off and never did. Zero communication, zero trustworthiness, and they failed to return their customers property when they said they would.

This was my first and last time using this dry cleaner.

I dropped off a couple of coats and ties to the lady at the counter last week. I asked her to take good care of one coat in particular because it belonged to my grandma who passed away, and this coat was very precious to me for that reason. I felt as though I was leaving it in good hands- my experience at drop off was wonderful.

I picked up my coats and ties from an after-hours locker yesterday. I found that they had pushed a large safety pin through the lapel of my grandma's coat creating two large, visible holes. I was devastated. Given the type of material (polyester) these holes will remain visible and may fray. I attempted to massage the holes out of the lapel but they aren't going anywhere.

They also pushed a large safety pin through the coat's belt, creating two more holes. (see photos). My other coat and my ties did not have a safety pin pushed through them anywhere. Not a single safety pin on any other garment item, and no trace that there had been a safety pin at any point, unlike this coat I really cared about.

I called today and spoke with Christina. I asked her why they pushed large safety pins through the lapel and belt of my grandma's coat, and explained that there were now two obvious holes on the lapel that could be seen several feet away. She said I was lying, that there were no holes in the garment, and they do this to identify items. This upset me because I was looking at the holes in the garment.

I asked her why they wouldn't put in the pins in a less conspicuous place, like the rear inside of the collar or on the tag, which would have been just as visible to the cleaners when hung on a hanger- or why they wouldn't use smaller pins that wouldn't leave holes. She did not answer my questions, she said I was only venting.

I was in tears at this point, in complete disbelief that they would agree that they used the pins intentionally, but deny the damage to my grandma's coat, and then tell me I'm lying about it. I repeated there are now two obvious holes in the lapel and this time she yelled back that I was lying.

I asked her why my other items didn't have a safety pin, if that's how they identify them. She, again, told me I was lying and said that all of the items had pins pushed through them.

I saw an adhesive barcode was used on the ties (see photo), which is what I am used to seeing from my regular dry cleaner on my other items, but I haven't found any barcode for the peacoat. She then asked me to explain how they knew those items were mine if they didn't have pins pushed through them. How could I know? All I can say is what I observed- only the item I said I really, really cared about was returned damaged and at this point,  it feels intentional.

Additionally, there is a new black mark on the belt of the coat, which appears to be dirtier than it was before, and frankly, the coat isn't clean, either. My grandma was not a messy person but the cuffs and the area around the pockets would get a little dingy over time, she'd get it cleaned, and they'd be good as new. The cuffs and pockets are still dingy- I don't think they cleaned this coat.

So this dry cleaner took my money, damaged an item with high sentimental value, gave it back to be dirty, denied it, called me a liar, went on the attack, and when I started yelling back at her- she hung up on me.

A sincere apology would have gone a long way in this scenario and because I didn't get that from them, because they called me a liar, I am writing this review.

Used this place for years until these people took over. Never had an issue for years and went back 1 time to get half of my suit lost. 2months later no explanation, can't get reimbursed and everyone I talk to says talk to manager. I hope thisplace goes under or maybe someone should help them out

Was going to take my grandfather's overcoat in, would have paid literally anything to get it cleaned up. Saw all the trump signs and decided to take my business elsewhere. I definitely don't trust my family heirloom with people who would probably hate me because of how I look.

BEWARE! Please make sure you take pictures of any coats, clothing etc. before it is dropped off. I had a winter coat with faux fur lined around the hood of the coat. When I picked it up the hood of the coat was a total matted mess. Employee said he would show it to the owner. 2 weeks later I go to pick it up again and it looked exactly the same he said "we brushed it out" employee then stated how there wasn't a manufacturer tag in it.

First of all if you didn't have any instructions/directions from the manufacturer tag to clean the coat but still took it upon yourself to "clean" it and ruined it. The coat is now your responsibility and cleaner is held liable. After 4 weeks of getting the run around I went to get my money back. Just received money back for "cleaning" that was done which was $12.62. Now I'm out of a winter coat. Thanks for the $12.62 that will have to go towards a NEW winter coat.

I recommend just going to sunshine. Tried to talk to the OWNER polity about his dryers not working, let him know I wasn't concerned about the $4 because I have lost over $35 since using these. Money isn't the issue, but for people who are struggling, it's bull. He then proceeds to rip my clothes out of my hand and kicks me out of the laundry mat. I approached him respectfully. Again, I was trying to raise awareness for his theft. He knows they don't work. So just go to any other laundry mat. Save your money 💰  it all adds up.

Update* 8/1/2024. Had to stop into this terrible place this evening because it was all that was open. I was wondering if people were still sleeping in there. It seems they now leave their personal items in there as well. So sad that they let people live in here, so unsafe!

Went there this evening and it was filled with smoke and a lady was covered up sleeping on the floor. Her cigarettes, soda and other items were all around. This woman was not waiting on her clothes she was staying there. There is a number to call to report anything that happens but nobody ever answers.

Washer didn't spin at all. Nobody working on site or answering the phone when I called the phone number listed on the wall. Left a message and did not get a call back.

Been told about their broken dryers and they refuse to fix them instead cuss customers out

Tried to exchange my $20 to quarters. The automat gave me only $13. Where is the rest?! Phone number they have - nobody picking up the phone.
