Unprofessional and Overpriced

I had a very disappointing experience with A Cleaner World in Apex. I initially received a quote for altering the length of a few dresses, which I agreed to. A week later—after they had my clothes all that time—they called me back just to tell me the price had jumped to almost $200. That’s unacceptable.
Not only was the communication slow and unclear, but the final quote was drastically different from what was initially discussed. I’ve had alterations done at other shops before and have never encountered this kind of unprofessional behavior or sudden price hike. This place is by far the worst I’ve dealt with when it comes to alterations. I won't be returning and can’t recommend them to anyone looking for honest, reliable service.

Bought 2 pairs of jean in for patches. The jeans were worn in the crotch area. Explained to the employee that I did not care if you could see the patches or stitching, I just wanted to be able to wear the jeans without holes. Received jeans back with flimsy patches that barely covered the wear and ripped after 2 wears. Horrible service and lack of craftsmanship and detail, will never use again. Went to Grace Tailor in Apex and she fixed the jeans properly and at a better price.

A Cleaner World did a fantastic job on my white linen draperies!  The draperies had developed yellow stains from being in the sunlight and dry cleaning would not have gotten them out.  A Cleaner World suggested they soak them in a non-chlorine bleach overnight to remove the stains and it worked perfectly. My drapes are back up and look clean and pressed.  I am so very pleased!  I would most definitely use A Cleaner World again.

I had a 10' tablecloth to press in a short time.  Service was great and I had it within 24 business hours. I compared prices and this place best them hands down!

Our duvet was so white.  Great job. The lady who helped me was so kind and helpful. I appreciate employees who go the extra mile to smile,  talk to you and explain things if needed without a negative tone or attitude.

I started using this service during the lock down time as increased laundry with us both working from home was a factor! They have been great to work with, reasonable prices also. Anytime there is a mix up things are straightened out. I have never lost any items.

I dropped off my wedding gown at the Publix Pointe location. The young lady at the counter was very professional and made sure I understood the estimated cost. It was expensive, but it was a wedding gown! When I got it back, it was pristine. I was a little worried about the beads and buttons on the dress, but I had no need to be. It was completely intact. I was recommended to take my Santa suit to them for dry cleaning when I dropped it off the white fur. Was beautiful when I picked it up the fur that is supposed to be white is not tinted pink so my Santa suit is now ruined and I am going to have to purchase another one. I would not recommend this cleaners to another Santa
