Oxford Cleaners has done a wonderful job at the Urban Office location in the Heights where my law firm is located. Randy is very personable and always has our building looking pristine. I recommend him and his company without hesitation.

This is the worst laundry service on the planet. We took a Hermès T-shirt there for a standard wash. We had already paid, but when we went to pick it up, we found the T-shirt was completely ruined. There were large dirt stains on both the front and back. The blue marks were utterly indelible. The owner told us it was okay, to give him another chance, and he would fix it. We trusted him and gave him a second shot, but when we came back for the shirt, it was even worse. He had put a lot of white powder on it, which did not cover the blue marks but instead made the stains larger. We were very dissatisfied. He said it was okay, to go home and find the receipt, and he would pay for the T-shirt. When we found the receipt and returned, he then said he never told us he would pay for the T-shirt. He claimed the shirt was ruined entirely because the Hermès company produced defective clothing and told us to return it to the Hermès store. I've never heard such an absurd reason. He said he washed it exactly according to the garment's washing instructions, so he made no mistake, and there is nothing he can do. He told us to just take the shirt and stop harassing him, saying if we wanted to go to small claims court, he could explain to the judge that it wasn't his fault. He told us he wouldn't be responsible for anything. We think the owner has been lying all along; initially, he told us he would help us resolve the issue, then said he couldn't fix it but would pay, and by the third time, he outright denied it, insisting we just take the shirt. We didn't take the shirt because we didn't trust him, fearing he would claim we added the dirt after taking it home, so the shirt has remained at their store. I hope our neighbors are cautious and never take their clothes there for washing. When I went to the store the second time to communicate, he told me the shirt was completely OK, and coincidentally, there was a customer next to me. I asked that lady if she thought this was OK, and she said definitely not, they did exactly the same thing to her clothes, but they promised her compensation, giving her all the credit for free laundry, yet in our case, the owner said he would not compensate us at all. I am extremely disappointed, I never expected any business owner to act so ugly, and the owner was very rude and continually lying.

It was clear that the garments we provided to you were free of any dirt or stains and only required regular cleaning. However, after your cleaning service, we found two large blue stains on the back and dye stains on the front, indicating a mishandling on your part. You acknowledged the mistake and requested another chance to rectify it, which we granted in good faith. Unfortunately, your second attempt only made the stains worse. When you realized you could not restore the garment to its original condition, you promised to reimburse us for the T-shirt. Yet, when we returned with the receipt, you outright denied ever agreeing to compensate for the garment, and unjustly blamed the quality of the Hermes fabric. You suggested we take our grievance to the Hermes store for a refund or exchange, an utterly preposterous suggestion. This garment has been successfully cleaned at other laundries without any issues. It was solely your service that ruined it. To be honest, the loss of a single garment is not a significant issue for us; we possess many others. However, your attitude towards customers is intolerable. We want all customers to be aware of this. While a lack of professionalism is one thing, lying and deceiving customers is absolutely unacceptable. We are now looking forward to the intervention of a third party to ensure you are held accountable for your mistakes and provide the necessary compensation.

I recently changed my review from 5 stars to 2 stars. The staff is very nice but they make no effort to clean any stains and also give wrong recommendations.  This isn't a cheap cleaners - 5 pieces will cost you easy over 22.00 - 25.00.
