Best laundromat I've found in the Altoona area. Prices are on par with any other locations, super clean, all the machines work, staff and patrons are friendly, snack machines, games of skill, and pinball to keep you busy. Hate doing laundry but made a Sunday with my fiance and daughter a great experience! Fantastic location! 👍🏻🤙🏻👏🏻

I can never figure out how the two people present when I get there, manage to use all 15 dryers. If one dryer is available, you can bet that 2 minutes before my final spin ends, someone will walk in with wet laundry, for the last available dryer.

Dryers work so good theyve actually melted some of my clothes  (12 mins in between high/med setting on 2 diff dryers.  Unfortunately my clothes weren't salvageable, therefore the 4 stars.  So folks here's a heads up **Turn dryer heat down** or constantly Check or in between adding quarters.  Again i repeat the dryers work awesomely fast, they are extremely hot on high setting.   If you're able to park out back, you won't have to pay to park, just be careful on the steps!

I dropped off many pairs of old lace curtains to be cleaned. The gentleman that waited on me told me they may be to brittle to have cleaned but I was willing to take the chance to hopefully have a few more years out of these curtains. I received a call just 5 days later that they were all ready for pickup. They were just BEAUTIFUL! What a wonderful job they did!

This place sucks. Brought 2 winter jackets to get cleaned in the spring and just brought them out for winter and found they screwed up my zippers. Brought them out and the jerk at the counter said there was nothing he could do about it. Wouldn’t even refund any money. Now I have to find a seamstress to fix them.Don’t waste your money on this dump.

Awful experience.  Let me start by saying I can't remember the last time I left a negative review about service anywhere.  I know how hard it is to work in the service industry and run a business, so I have a high tolerance.

I dropped off 5 shirts and 1 suit, which needed to be done in time to leave town to attend a funeral.  Went to pick up my order and the suit is done, but they did not have the shirts.  The shirts didn't make it back to the location for whatever reason.  They offered our cleaning order for free and offered to pick up the cost of me buying a shirt for the funeral.  I was initially impressed by that as they were trying to make it right, but I didn't feel right buying a shirt on their dime since my shirts weren't destroyed, just late.
I went in to pick up the shirts once I got back in town, and surprise, surprise...the shirts are no longer free.  They CHARGE me for the 5 shirts that they could not deliver on time.  Their response: "Well, you got the suit for free.  Sorry for the miscommunication."   There was no miscommunication.  No apology or regret expressed either.  The sad part is that I could've bought a shirt (I chose not to in trying to be reasonble) and it would've cost much more than the total bill or their cost for pressing my 5 shirts.  As it stands, I'll go out of my way to support a dry cleaner that values my business.  Puritan will not get another dime from me.

I have used this company three time for slacks, shirts, sports coats and a suit.  So far everything has been timely. Little oversight when pressing caused an odd crease where the shirt buttoned but other than that one item everything has been very sharp.
