Full disclosure I did not actually do laundry here, just happened to walk by and was so smitten I had to visit.
It’s super clean, very retro, the machines are all new, it’s possible to rent the place out for photo shoots, what a fun place!

However this facility is crazy expensive! 🤑 Possibly more than I've ever paid anywhere else, as I travel around the country.
The upsell for warm water wash and a medium load should also increase the time.🤨
But it doesn't. The washers are short cycled at only 25 minutes.
That's not enough time to clean your clothes.

The dryer is posted at $2 for 27 minutes but it's actually only 25 minutes.
Adding a quarter before the dryer stops seems to add 6 minutes. That should be 48 minutes for the original $2...
So many new tricks at these laundromats these days. I guess for people who don't know any better or aren't good at math.🤷🏻‍♂️

They do offer complimentary liquid detergent. 😲 I'm sure this is because of the mess created by powder detergent and pods in the machines. 🫣
But I don't use liquid detergent because half of it is water anyway 😡

The air conditioning is not very cold.🫤 Granted it was very hot outside, but it should be colder in there considering it's a laundromat 😉

Perhaps the extra cost of the machines is covering the complementary detergent and the convenience of credit cards.

It was clean and had what I needed while my washer is down. The machines were efficient.
Only commentary: I should’ve put the dryer on high temp to get everything truly dry and I wish there were more “sit” options. But I was in and out in under 2 hours with 3 loads of clothes, towels, and even a rug.
Got the job done, convenient location, other patrons were kind.

The diversity friendly vibe alone is worth going. It feels safe. I've had some really great conversations with people I meet there.
I wish people would take a HINT with the free detergent that since we share machines, we should use Clean Ingredients. I had to switch machines last time after it was full because their were still chemicals in the box ..and those things, even when you can't see it in the box so spill over into the next person. And some people are very sensitive. Once I went and the smell alone of chemicals was too much for me to stay inside and it was hot outside.

Free detergent is awesome. I've forgotten mine a couple times and do need chem-free so that was a plus. Vending machine is cool and includes dryer balls....I think dog treats too.  Thanks for having bubbly water without sugars added also!
I was excited to have my son come once as he's hard to drag along for chores. I bribed him with Eureka Pizza and tho it was there the week before ..it was gone when he came 🤣. The bar next door was super friendly even when they were closed. I was pulling an invasive tree (3') from their lavender flower pots and they were so kind about it....sometimes people get overprotected when you try to help with their plants. 😅 Nice people just adjust to what's really happening and best.

The cleanest and quietest Laundromat I’ve ever been to!  The lady on duty was VERY helpful in figuring out if the high capacity washer would hold my oversized Ruggable rug!  The bathrooms were extremely clean as well!

We used to use this laundromat when it was originally located closer to the highschool and university.  Now it has relocated right behind ALDI (still a great location!).  Everyone who works here is so helpful and pleasant.  Tonight the coin machine took my $20 without dispensing any coins.  When I made them aware of the situation, the owner's son was here to maintenance it and replace my $20 in under 20 minutes!  Great service!  Also, everything is kept very nice and clean.  I would recommend this location to anyone.  When you drive up to the building, it simply says, "Laundry."

Very busy place. It seems to be kept clean though.  The owner / manager seems very friendly.  She asked if I need any help with anything.  The friendly dog is a nice touch as well.  Some of the machines were broken. But there was enough working ones to suit my needs.  I thought the price was a bit high, but I know they have their bills too.

I started coming here last year, and the employees have been helpful and sweet. Ms. Janis is awesome. Today is my last day coming here, because I finally replaced my washer and dryer. Usually, because I’m a working wife and mother and the grind NEVER stops, I’m able to listen to podcasts or my playlists and wash and dry in peace! There is a lady with white hair and glasses who works here, and I’ve been dealing with her intrusiveness pretty well. But Jesus. It has been a rough week, I’m hormonal, and today is the worst day to be weird! She usually stands over me when I’m loading or unloading, but this morning when I stepped out and set my timer to return and empty my last load washing…

I came back in about 30 seconds after it went off and that woman unloaded my belongings and had them sitting in a cart. I was going to excuse it but she never stops talking! When I said it’s fine, she kept stepping into my space. Not aggressively, she just appears to not be mindful of boundaries. Which is still annoying, because it’s never too late to learn about them. Once I told her I come here to unwind while I do my laundry, she said “you DO?” I  said “yes. It’s okay to not talk to me all the time.” She then stepped closer and put those hands in the hair I JUST purchased  😵‍💫🤯, and said “I like the way y’all do your hair.”

“Ma’am, who is ‘y’all’?”

“Well…you know…Y’ALL.”

I let her know that it’s still okay to be quiet sometimes and it sounds a lot like a generalization which is offensive considering she stepped deeper into my bubble while I was explaining boundaries to her.

Now I don’t even feel comfortable getting my clothes out of the dryer without my husband with me! This is not good for business.

When my dryer suddenly stopped heating, I needed a place to dry my wet clothes and I found myself at Arena Village Laundry. I was met by a helpful and smiling face. Tracy, who held the door for me, quickly walked me through the machines, their capacities, and gave me helpful tips to navigate the touch screens. As I waited for my clothes to dry, Tracy was kind to everyone who entered and created a warm, friendly vibe. The facility is so clean, bright, and welcoming that I’m not in such a rush to repair my dryer.
