Clutch city laundry is a very clean and very well maintained laundry on Westheimer. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Maylin walked me through every steps as this was first time. There is a waiting area when your clothes are washed with nice music played. There are machine with different load size and prices differs based on the machine you use, but all are reasonable.

Hidden Gem on a bit of an obscure corner Just walked into sparkly clean laundry greeted by the lovely Maylian and offered me either the self wash or wash and fold service. As I was traveling I just self served. Machines were very easy to use and having forgotten powder I was able to get some for just a dollar. Plenty of space on the folding tables. Whole place was beyond clean and organized. They have a comfortable lounge area where you can watch TV and sit in a comfortable rocking chair. There are also charging ports and chairs . I love this place. Fast machines and great employees. Clean and super friendly environment. I feel completely safe whether I come to wash my clothes at 10am on a Sunday or 2am on a Friday night. Staff is always available at all times so if you run out of laundry detergent, dryer sheets or fabric softener, they offer small sizes to buy for fairly decent prices. Washer sizes come in 4 different sizes that range from small 1-2 loads for around $3.15, medium for 2-3loads around $5.25, large for 4-5 loads around $7.35 and extra large for 6-8 loads for around $11.95. (The large and extra large might be slightly off price but it's close to that.) Dryers come in 3 sizes, large 1-3 loads for $1.50, extra large for 4-5 loads for $2.00 and extra extra large for 6-8 loads for 2.50. the washers only take about 20-35 minutes depending on if want high, medium, low or delicate heat or you want a regular wash or want an "extra wash" and "extra rinse" for a small additional charge and. The payment system is by a card system they use with a dispensary card machine. You place your card on the machine and can load it with cash or debit card, for first time card dispense there's a small additional fee that I believe is only $3. Honestly it's the best laundry mat I've ever been to with top of the line machines that dry your clothes in one use for only about 40mins. Additional 5mins cost 25¢ but honestly just drying on medium heat will get the job done in one payment and no additional minutes added. I usually dry on medium and take my clothes out after around 25-30 mins with time still left on the machine. Kid friendly with a vending machine that offers snacks and drinks in one machine. Highly recommend this place. I've met all the staff and they're all so refreshingly friendly and helpful. Atziri, Sarah, Maylin and Yaleska are amazing! They're always the best! There's plenty of tables for folding laundry and a separate long bar type area to sit and wait for your clothes. There's also several outlets by the bar seating area so you can plug in your laptop or phone to charge if you need to. Bring your own charge cables and plugs though. Extra parking in the back with an outdoor seating area if it's busy inside and just need a breather. Also there's handicap accessible ramps in front and back. Honestly it's a great place and I highly recommend if you're in need of a laundry mat, or even if you get behind on your laundry duties and have an abundance of clothes that need washing. I've literally seen people come in with mountains of clothes they're folding up. Great time saver and a decent fair cost in my opinion. Comfortable chairs are available for waiting and they offer two televisions and a snack machine. There's a gas station next door and across street for a greater snack selection.

Update: the place has been open for about a year and I've been coming once a week this entire time. The place is still super clean and there's a few machines needing maintenance but they're normally pretty quick on repairs. Once they had a problem with the hot water heater and within an hour of me arriving and waiting, they already had it fixed up and ready to go. Honestly it's a great place. I've been to the one on dunvale and Richmond and it's kinda run down and only works on an app payment plan. I hated it. I will never go to that one again unless it's a dire emergency. Ladies, even if you have machines at home but don't have time to do laundry for hours on end on your day off, come here and spend less than two hours and have everything washed at home once. It's a time saver. Again, I've been coming a year and all the machines look brand spankin new. Sparkling stainless steel inside and no bad smells. No rust or any signs of wear and tear. It seriously is a great place. Forgot to mention that you can also drop off your laundry too for only $1 a pound. That's it! Saves time you may not have. I watch them washing clothes all day long and they're very thoughtful of others belongings and handle and fold with care. I couldn't recommend this place more. Honestly.

Absolutely disappointed. I brought in 4 dresses and 1 blouse and was charged a shocking $91.26—with no breakdown of charges or explanation for the high cost. These same dresses have been cleaned before at much more reasonable prices elsewhere. I only switched cleaners because I moved, but this was clear price gouging.  2 stars for the clean clothes, the same level of clean that has been received elsewhere.  Nothing special at all.

To make matters worse, they advertise a 50% off discount for first-time customers—which they conveniently never mentioned, despite the fact that I told them it was my first visit, they entered my info into the system, and even texted me. I later saw other reviews from people with the same complaint.

Random fees, zero transparency, and no respect for new customers. First time. Last time.

I dropped off a dress shirt with a small food stain and mentioned it to the employee at the counter. I asked if I could point it out for the cleaner, but they told me not to worry—they’d inspect the shirts and spot the stains themselves. I didn’t want to press the issue, so I left it at that.

This morning, on my way to work, I looked down and noticed the stain was still there. It’s a small dot, but it’s right along the front center of the shirt—basically in line with the buttons—so it’s hard to miss. What’s even more frustrating is that it probably won’t come out now, since the cleaning and drying process likely set the stain in further. It could’ve been an easy fix if they had actually checked like they said they would.

They did help remove a stain on a white dress shirt around the neck line which is why I didn’t leave one star.

Never mind—I just saw that they offer 50% off to new customers. I was a new customer and didn’t receive any information about that offer so I’m making my review one star.

Positives: Staff were all very nice, clothes are clean, no damage to items.  And they offer 50% off your whole order for first time customers, so it was well worth it to give them a try.
However, I had 2 significant issues. First, I was told each dress would be $15 (minus the 50% off for first time customers). However, they added extra fees to each item for lining and material type (ALL materials - not just silk or wool) and charged a separate 4.50 for a belt that was part of the dress. Those fees should have been disclosed at drop off. Secondly, the app never updated to say my items were ready (staff admitted this was an error). When I called I was told my items were ready and confirmed they were at the Chimney Rock location which was my requested pick up location. When I arrived the clothes were not there and I was told they were at the West Gray location. I then drove to the West Gray location and was initially told they weren't there either. I insisted they check - and items were located - just not in the system. Thus it took 8 days and an hour of driving to get my dry cleaning. When I complained about the issues, they did take some money off which I greatly appreciated. This is why I gave them 3 stars instead of 1.
Note that ALL cleaning occurs at the Chimney Rock location - so it doesn't really matter which Omni cleaners you drop off at.

Very disappointed. I was charged $2.00 environmental fee on a pants alteration! Not dry cleaning but an alteration. Second, the clothes were a day late thus causing me to make 2 trips (you would think they would at least comp one piece of dry cleaning). Also, they don’t give you a price for a suit but charge you separately for coat and pants ($17.24 plus $2 more because it had a small amount of linen in it.). Very expensive! I’ll be looking elsewhere.

I drop off at west Gray location. Service was spectacular when Kim was working there. I understand things change. My complaint isn’t about service, the new lady there is pleasant. My issue is the pricing. They have gotten so unreasonably priced. Fortunately living the middle of the city I can find another qualified dry cleaners that doesn’t want to well… take me to the cleaners.

I have been driving from Galveston Island to the San Felipe Twin Oaks Cleaners for 15+years because they were exceptional. Yesterday I picked up my cleaning and two of my silk shirts are completely ruined. They no longer have their silky shimmer, the pockets are completely stretched out of shape, snagged all over and wrinkled pressed into one of the shirts. The Vince shirt is brand new, expensive and only worn twice. I am no longer a customer.

They were actually able to remove the stain in my clothing. Efficient communication channels and fast service (as soon as you enter, staff dont ignore your presence). Weird smell when you walk in though. Downside is the steep price plus the fact that the rate for cleaning Hermes is more than other brands. Not sure why that would be the case.

Great experience bringing my Tom Ford tuxedo. The prices are fair, they take really good care of clothes and deliver them with utmost care. Will be back for sure!

Do not get your items tailored here. My experience was terrible. I have a Ralph Lauren Polo jacket that I wanted tailored. I wanted the sleeves to be brought up. Sadly the quality of the work is subpar. They initially put in two stitches in each arm of the jacket. 2. So incredibly disappointing This kind of jacket required a hidden stitch going all the way around meeting the knit of the jacket and the lining. It required the buttons to also be moved up because of where the cut was done. The buttons were seemingly placed evenly on one side and on the other side they just decided they no longer gave a damn. Although I don't trust the quality of the stitching and will be taking it somewhere else to get repaired and redone. She did actually try to stitch through the entire arm of course it was no longer a hidden stitch and the stitches she did started coming on done on the way home. True initially the jacket had holes for the buttons which would have been hidden because of the cut being done. . Someone decided to remove the protective stitching around an existing buttonhole that would be hidden due to where the cut would be made however they removed the stitching around it and left a frayed hole The seamstress seems to be more concerned with eating her lunch and actually doing her job she initially tried to convince me that it would be fine if we just ironed out the arms why weren't they ironed out in the first place it taken to get cleaned, but I digress. If you're just taking really basic items to get cleaned in a pinch, I recommend that for shirts/pants fine but if you want jackets or coats to get clean here take them elsewhere I also left two wool coats that honestly look like they need a lint roller run through them. I guess they smell better. I did take some mens shirts because I needed them cleaned. However after that transaction I will likely not be coming back.

Let me start off by saying that this not the dry cleaner's that I usually use.  (The boiler was out at the one I use on a regular basis and could not guarantee that my stuff would be out in time for my trip.) The young lady that checked my stuff in yesterday was very pleasant.  A little more pricey than what I'm used to but oh well,  we do what we must.  The lady that checked on my clothes today was very rude.  There was no one there when I got there,  so there was no line.  As I was wrapping up a conversation with my husband over the phone,  she started tapping the counter saying she needs my phone number very rudely.  I paused my conversation and gave it to her.  She stated that my clothes were not ready.  To which I responded that they were supposed to be ready today.  I pulled my receipt and she snatched it out of my hand and went to the back only to find that my stuff WAS in fact ready.  Thank goodness the young lady that helped me yesterday came from the back to complete our transaction.  I will not be going back.  Her attitude repulsed me. As a paying customer,  attitudes are not acceptable.

Very unprofessional. Will be taking my business elsewhere (regularly have $90-100 in cleaning every 2 weeks or so.). Travel often for work (75%) so I’m always diligent about getting clothes cleaned. Go to pick up at 5:55pm and they are closed. Call and no answer. Will never understand why people are so lazy. Plenty of other cleaners around so I’ll be trying others out.

Great service.  Came here for an alteration to my pants and they got it done fast and the results were great.  I had to come back because I didn’t get the hem up long enough and that’s totally on me.  The owner stepped in the second time and brought out a ruler and recommended a higher hem up than what I was asking for after I explained the style.

This place is amazing!! I brought in a white suede coat with old stains on it and they did miracle work on it. All of the stains were out and it looked good as new. The owners are also really friendly!

First, of all I would like to say that mostly everyone's reviews are correct Ms. Lucille is a nice friendly lady, but the prices are absolutely OUTRAGEOUS PERIOD!!!  I had 4 dresses and one pants suit cleaned last week and I picked them up this past Saturday the 22nd and my bill was $90.08 which is by far completely RIDICULOUS for 6/7 items.  I truly thought she was kidding but she wasn't!!!  I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS AGAIN!!!!  That is why I'm leaving this review!  I just could not believe that a bill from the cleaners of all places was that much for only 6 items, 4 dresses and a pants suit! Highway robbery!!!!

Horrible place I asked for heavy startch on my shirts and I told these don't have any startch and she just dismissed me and practically pushed me out the door they suck don't go there they are very rude as well

Brought my dress here to be cleaned. When I picked up my dress 3 days later it had a hole on the sleeve and the wire inside was sticking out of the dress. When I pointed this out the lady managed to repair the wire but sadly all that could be done about the hole is stitching it up which didn't really resolve my issue because it's still noticeable and now instead of just a hole in my dress I have a stitched up hole in my dress which is just as ugly. Won't be able to wear this dress and most importantly there was zero customer service or resolution to my damaged dress other than a simple "sorry about that." Won't be back

This lady turned a size 18  pants suit with long sleeve jacket into a cute outfit !! she cut the sleeves and made the pants into shorts I post weight so I wear a size 12 now … cute birthday ensemble… it was AMAZING thank you so much ☺️

This was my 2nd time using this cleaners as my 1st interaction was with another woman employee who was very nice a few months back.   I must say, it was not a pleasant one as I dropped off 7 dresses total this past Saturday and 2 were formal with a few minor stains.  Needless to say, check your items before you PAY and Leave!  Stains were not removed will have to wait another 2 days to pickup dresses needed for Friday Quince.. Owner was very rude and I was surprised because she was there when I dropped off on Saturday observing that woman employee I mentioned earlier but honestly I won't be back after I pickup on Thursday as she kept tapping the card reader for me to pay in full. I said, I will pay for the other 2 when the job is complete and stains are removed, she then adjusted the total but only because I told her it was fair for me to pay then.  I even told her it was rude of her to tap on the card reader especially while I'm inspecting the dresses/their work.
