I can’t say enough good things about Summerdale Dry Cleaners & Tailors in Cambridge. The staff is absolutely amazing—kind, professional, and always super friendly. They’ve done several alterations for both my kids and myself, and every time the work has been perfect. My shirts and pants are always pressed and tailored just right. They even went above and beyond by repairing the zipper on my scuba BCD, which I didn’t expect from a regular dry cleaner. That kind of attention and care really sets them apart. Highly recommended!

brought a brand new, never-worn white suit to this dry cleaner — it had only been tried on before. I asked them to wash it (as I always wash new clothes before wearing them) and press it nicely. I intended for my son to wear it for his First Communion.
To my shock, I received the suit back dirty and not properly cleaned. The jacket sleeves looked as if someone had worn and stained it before me. There were what appeared to be old, unwashed stains that couldn’t be removed. The pants had pen marks on them, and the entire suit was dusty, with something black on it — I even found a few black hairs on the fabric.
I was extremely upset, especially since they tried to claim that the suit was in that condition when I brought it in, and that they don’t do the cleaning themselves but use third-party services. I was forced to take the suit elsewhere, hoping that the second place will be able to fix what was ruined by Summerdale Dry Cleaners.

What an amazing tailor! We brought in a long sleeved shirt that had been chewed up by our dog. We were expecting to visibly see patches and imperfections as it was a pretty bad year. The tailors managed to use the same pattern fabric to repair the damage and the shirt literally looks brand new. You can see the grey patching on the inside is how large the tears were. If I could give 100 stars I would! I brought my wedding dress and two bridesmaid dresses here for cleaning after our destination wedding. Through a series of unfortunate events which included losing my dry cleaning ticket it took me TWO YEARS to pick up my dress and the other 2 dresses. I basically had given up on being able to pick up the dresses because I was having a ton of anxiety about the whole situation. I received a call from Preston Cleaners saying they still had my dress and could I please come pick it up. I was overjoyed but still so nervous about picking up the dresses after losing my ticket. I brought my wedding album to prove that I was the owner of the dresses. I thought they were going to be angry, or charge me a small fortune for holding on to the dress for 2 years for me, but when I walked in the woman behind the counter was sooo kind. She asked to see my wedding album, I thought to prove ownership of the dress, but she proceeded to look through every photo commenting on how nice the photos were. She could not have been more kind, and they didn’t charge me extra for the extremely long hold of the dresses. This kindness was so touching and rare to find these days. The dresses were cleaned beautifully. So grateful.

Dropped off with a blazer with a stain. They gave it back pressed but it looked like they didn’t even try to remove the stain. Literally took me 30 seconds and I was able to get it off. I brought it back to show them and she didn’t seem to care. Won’t be back.
