I left 3 pairs of pants, 2 to have hem left down and one to be hemmed.
Hemming:  The lady insisted on remeasuring the one to be hemmed and despite my telling her I wanted it to reach the floor so I could wear it with heels, she hemmed it way too short.  She  totally ignored me when I showed her that I had already pinned it at the length I wanted.  The pants are way too short, even for flats.

She assured me that for the 2 pairs of Chico pants she had the machine that could do the double hem.   When  I picked them up, they only had a single stitch.   She said she could add another row.  Clearly she did not have the machine she claimed to have.  The blue pants are not only too short but have a shiny ring around the bottom.

Letting down hem:   I explained that I wanted the hem to not show.   I even left and purchased a facing lace that she could use as she acted like she had not heard of it.   When I brought it back, she said that the fabric she used would not show.  Unfortunately when she let down the hem in the 2 prs of black pants she somehow managed to leave marks on the fabric.  So not only does all the folds in the fabric show, I have shiny rings around the hem.  She offered to dry clean them at my expense.   She agreed that dry cleaning would not take the shiny marks out.
The pants were new and now have shiny marks all the way around.
Unfortunately I had already paid when I realized this.   She was not willing to offer a partial refund or pay for the removal of the marks.   She knew as I do that they would not come out.

Basically I have 3 pairs of pants, 2 brand new and 1 worn once that are not fit to wear.

I am so grateful for Tora and the work she does! She altered two dresses for a huge wedding I was in. The first one was custom-made incorrectly elsewhere and had tricky beaded fabric that needed to be added to the dress to match the rest. They did a phenomenal job and the dress turned out absolutely gorgeous!! The second dress was one I forgot to alter and needed quickly. I called and she said she could have it to me by the next morning. The dress turned out beautiful and was altered perfectly and done on time. This place is a gem and I will continue to give them my business all the way from Kennesaw.

Torah is amazing! I needed a dress taken out and I needed a quick turnaround. I found Le’s Alteration by Google searching “best alterations in Decatur, GA.” When I walked in she was super welcoming and friendly. She was very encouraging and honest after I told her what I needed done and by when I needed it. Torah completed the alteration in less than 24-hours. The price was fair considering it was a rush job on a Saturday. The dress came out perfectly and exactly how I wanted it. I’ve already started recommending her to others and I will take items to her again.

I'd never used a dry cleaner before, so I chose Buddy's when I needed a simple hem or repair soley because of their proximity to where I live. I've been going to them for about a year now, and have always left happy.

My most recent trip was to fix my favorite dress that I hadn't been able to wear for years, because the back crochet was completely unraveling. I am beyond impressed with their repair! I'll never go anywhere else for alterations. Highly recommend.

I took my hat there on Feb. 8th and was told I could pick it up on the following Monday. Here it’s been almost a month and I don’t have it yet. This morning I was told that it was only a hat and he didn’t need to go through me asking for it anymore. Each week he would tell me he would have it the following Monday but there’s always an excuse. I told him I trusted him with my hat and that I was HIS customer not who he sent it to when he wanted to give me the phone number to whomever does that type of cleaning for him. This is how we are treated in our neighborhood and we should speak about it and not just accept this kind of treatment. We are the PAYING CUSTOMERS!

I have been faithful customer of this cleaner for years. They do good job on clothes. The rate use to be $25.00 for 10 pieces. After covid they when up to $35.00, now its $45.00. I now have to locate a new cleaners.

When I first started coming to your cleaners years ago I was charged twenty something dollars if not $25.00 it was twenty something. Your cost remained steady around twenty something for a long time which is why I continued to come but you did just like other businesses, used Covid and other cost, economy, whatever to increase prices. If you perches quality clothes, don't take your clothes there, owners very nasty,  of what they messed up, I looked at the reviews and tried to give them a opportunity to be my new cleaners just moved about 10 miles from them and that's the closest one to me, i will start back taking my clothes to buckhead.

TERRIBLE! 0 stars. My father dropped off my expensive suede jacket to be cleaned. It was returned with additional black stains and a HOLE. There is also lent and dirt in the fur. The fabric of the jacket doesn’t even look the same. My father went back to let them know what happened and they claimed it was the washing liquid, didn’t offer him a refund. I went back again myself and was told to come back the next day to speak with the manager. I returned and now they say the manager is out of town for months. Sketchy. After driving up there 3 times they finally gave me a refund for the cleaning but said there was no way they could reimburse me for the jacket they ruined. That’s crazy. They ruin peoples clothes and don’t even apologize (no one even said sorry). Upon pickup, they gave the jacket back and didn’t even mention the stains/hole. When I noticed and brought it back, the woman tried to convince me “it’s the fabric”. First excuse was it’s the washing liquid, then they blame it on the fabric!? No, it was cleaned incorrectly and now the jacket is ruined with black marks everywhere and a large hole. If you don’t know how to clean certain materials just say that instead of wasting peoples money and destroying clothing. Ridiculous. They only offered to stitch the hole and try to remove the stains but “can’t guarantee anything”. The hole would have been an easy fix but the stains and fabric are ruined forever! I do not trust that they would clean it again properly. They would probably just make it worse and then blame it on me or the fabric or the liquid or whatever other excuse. I can’t even wear it now or get the stains out and they didn’t even at least give me money for a new one. I feel that would be fair since they are the ones that ruined it. They barely wanted to give me the refund. DO NOT BRING YOUR CLOTHES HERE. They do not care and are not even decent enough to be accountable for their mistakes. I never typically write reviews but just writing so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Do not trust this business with your garments.

Holcombe Coin Laundry & Cleaners

Ray, the man that owns this coin laundry business, is unbelievable!!!!  He actually drives to my apt, picks me up and drops me off completely free of charge!  He wouldn’t even let me tip him.  He is simply very kind and knows that I don’t have a car or people to drive me.  He will drive anyone that asks. That kind of compassion goes above and beyond a good business; he’s just a good human being.  Beyond that, the laundry mat is small but cozy and very reasonable.  The cost of the washers is about the same as everywhere else, but the dryers are free!
He has had a store there for years, which is attached to the building, (which is nice to get snacks and drinks and there is an ATM on site) and the laundry mat is brand new with brand new equipment.  There’s a nice spacious CLEAN bathroom and a large TV while you wait for your clothes.  I’m pretty sure he also has a pickup/drop off service for laundry as well but I’m not sure of the price.  Also, he doesn’t have a dry cleaners on site, but a family member does and he will take your clothes there if need be. Again I’m not sure of the price but knowing him, it’ll be fair.  I won’t go anywhere else to do my laundry and I bet you won’t either if you try it.  There’s just a family feeling that you get there.  You won’t be disappointed!

One of the better laundromats in the area. It's clean and the washers and dryers work very well. I also like that when you put a $20 bill in the change machine, you get 5.00 in quarters and your change in 5 dollar bills. Sometimes you just don't need $20 worth of quarters. A big plus is that they have a website which tells you how much the different size washing machines cost so you will have an idea of what you will be spending before you get there. The people who work there are friendly and you can dry for free if you use their washing machines.

And what is super cool is that they pick you up and bring you back after you get done😃😃😃 which I believe is the best part!! Hi guys, I just want everyone to that I had a great experience at this laundromat.  The owner picked me up , showed me around the business,  he made me very welcome  and comfortable.  The dryer's are free, the pick up and drop off service is free. Ray is gracious and kind, his customer service is over the top.

Kinda small but I went at 9 pm and there was no one there.. nice washers, clean surfaces and free dryers. The dryers were super hot too so I only needed one 20 minute cycle to dry my stuff (probably had 2 loads worth of clothes).. not my normal laundromat but I'll be back!

On Monday night I came to Speed Queen to wash clothes for my mom (who is bedridden) and sister and some things that I label house. Our dryer malfunctioned so Samsung replaced it. But now we have to have someone come and complete installation of the duct. Until then clothes must get cleaned. This is my second time coming to this location. I was comfortable at this location. Walter the attendant here kept an eye out for all patrons in this facility. He was professional and responsive to any questions that I  had. The next morning Walter told Angela that I was here his whole shift. I explained my whole situation to Angela and she politely explained the perks of being a Speen Queen Laundry patrons. I felt safe all night and the establishment was clean. I had planned to come back to clean my clothes on Tuesday night but the muscle in my back tightened and mom told me to stay home and relax. I will be going back this week to do my laundry and any mom and my sister may have soon. I did the laundry in sets so that it didn't become overwhelming. Coming to this location on Candler Rd, is convenient because I  had to chance to get everything done without being rushed since this location is open 24 hours. It was a good night 😊

Every time I go there, no matter what time of the year or season, they always have seasonal holiday spirits!! I love the breast cancer awareness tree and decor that I saw on 10-29-25!!! Great service from your staff at this location, Destiny was amazingly helpful. I would have given this location 5 stars if you had more options for the wash fold and dry detergent options, I can only use laundry detergents that don’t irritate my skin. I would love to use your wash and fold but with my skin irritations I had to wash my blankets and towels myself.

Best dry cleaners in Brookhaven area!!! It was a little far from my house but I went because I trusted the reviews & I wasn’t disappointed. I borrowed my friends dress for a wedding and got spray tan all over it. The nice lady got every spot out. And they have a cute dog named Valentine that greets you in the drive through.

Only thing to note, I don’t think I was notified that my dress was ready. I don’t know if they do that or not. I could have missed it. Anyways just know that beforehand—I kept my receipt and went 3 weeks after and it was ready but it was probably ready sooner than that. No issues at all, highly recommend!
