Horrible communication.  They never returned my 80 year old mother’s coat after they had it for a month and we asked for it back.  They asked for our address and said they would drop it off and never did. Zero communication, zero trustworthiness, and they failed to return their customers property when they said they would.

This was my first and last time using this dry cleaner.

I dropped off a couple of coats and ties to the lady at the counter last week. I asked her to take good care of one coat in particular because it belonged to my grandma who passed away, and this coat was very precious to me for that reason. I felt as though I was leaving it in good hands- my experience at drop off was wonderful.

I picked up my coats and ties from an after-hours locker yesterday. I found that they had pushed a large safety pin through the lapel of my grandma's coat creating two large, visible holes. I was devastated. Given the type of material (polyester) these holes will remain visible and may fray. I attempted to massage the holes out of the lapel but they aren't going anywhere.

They also pushed a large safety pin through the coat's belt, creating two more holes. (see photos). My other coat and my ties did not have a safety pin pushed through them anywhere. Not a single safety pin on any other garment item, and no trace that there had been a safety pin at any point, unlike this coat I really cared about.

I called today and spoke with Christina. I asked her why they pushed large safety pins through the lapel and belt of my grandma's coat, and explained that there were now two obvious holes on the lapel that could be seen several feet away. She said I was lying, that there were no holes in the garment, and they do this to identify items. This upset me because I was looking at the holes in the garment.

I asked her why they wouldn't put in the pins in a less conspicuous place, like the rear inside of the collar or on the tag, which would have been just as visible to the cleaners when hung on a hanger- or why they wouldn't use smaller pins that wouldn't leave holes. She did not answer my questions, she said I was only venting.

I was in tears at this point, in complete disbelief that they would agree that they used the pins intentionally, but deny the damage to my grandma's coat, and then tell me I'm lying about it. I repeated there are now two obvious holes in the lapel and this time she yelled back that I was lying.

I asked her why my other items didn't have a safety pin, if that's how they identify them. She, again, told me I was lying and said that all of the items had pins pushed through them.

I saw an adhesive barcode was used on the ties (see photo), which is what I am used to seeing from my regular dry cleaner on my other items, but I haven't found any barcode for the peacoat. She then asked me to explain how they knew those items were mine if they didn't have pins pushed through them. How could I know? All I can say is what I observed- only the item I said I really, really cared about was returned damaged and at this point,  it feels intentional.

Additionally, there is a new black mark on the belt of the coat, which appears to be dirtier than it was before, and frankly, the coat isn't clean, either. My grandma was not a messy person but the cuffs and the area around the pockets would get a little dingy over time, she'd get it cleaned, and they'd be good as new. The cuffs and pockets are still dingy- I don't think they cleaned this coat.

So this dry cleaner took my money, damaged an item with high sentimental value, gave it back to be dirty, denied it, called me a liar, went on the attack, and when I started yelling back at her- she hung up on me.

A sincere apology would have gone a long way in this scenario and because I didn't get that from them, because they called me a liar, I am writing this review.

Used this place for years until these people took over. Never had an issue for years and went back 1 time to get half of my suit lost. 2months later no explanation, can't get reimbursed and everyone I talk to says talk to manager. I hope thisplace goes under or maybe someone should help them out

Was going to take my grandfather's overcoat in, would have paid literally anything to get it cleaned up. Saw all the trump signs and decided to take my business elsewhere. I definitely don't trust my family heirloom with people who would probably hate me because of how I look.

BEWARE! Please make sure you take pictures of any coats, clothing etc. before it is dropped off. I had a winter coat with faux fur lined around the hood of the coat. When I picked it up the hood of the coat was a total matted mess. Employee said he would show it to the owner. 2 weeks later I go to pick it up again and it looked exactly the same he said "we brushed it out" employee then stated how there wasn't a manufacturer tag in it.

First of all if you didn't have any instructions/directions from the manufacturer tag to clean the coat but still took it upon yourself to "clean" it and ruined it. The coat is now your responsibility and cleaner is held liable. After 4 weeks of getting the run around I went to get my money back. Just received money back for "cleaning" that was done which was $12.62. Now I'm out of a winter coat. Thanks for the $12.62 that will have to go towards a NEW winter coat.

Chrisclean Laundry

Very nice. They keep the area very clean. Plenty of washers and dryers with folding tables all around. Machines are newer with modern technology that use a card or app. We appreciate that management and owner obviously make it a priority to keep the business clean.

Traveling through and did a google search for a place to do some laundry. As my daughter and I are team truck drivers we find that using the machines at truck stops really aren’t what we like. They smell, people wash gross things, they eat money like gum ball machines. Our clothes never smell “fresh and clean”.  We decided that we would start using businesses like these.
We were so pleased when we walked in that the place was so clean! The machines look well maintained and the people in there using the machines seemed to pick up after themselves!  I LOVE IT!
To have supplies like brooms and dust pans and spray for table tops made our visit even more enjoyable!
Love the fact we can use our card and not have to make sure we have change!  We came later this evening and as our clothes are drying we still were in awe of this little gem!

Thank you for taking care and having a place like this.  Not every laundromat is as nice as this one! This will definitely be our go to place when we pass through again!

I used to love doing laundry here, but the past few times has been frustrating. I like to do my laundry very early in the morning, and have often times come at 5am, to locked doors, despite the posted hours. This time however after loading up all my machines (4) I come to see there is apparently no internet! Which means I can't use the machine! Loaded up with the last of my detergent too! Money down the drain! Also place needs an overnight attendant or closing attendant, place is always filthy after the late night crowd has gone through.

M6 only issue was I couldn't quite understand the app, but we still got our clothes all washed and dried.
And it was a lot faster and a lot cheaper than other places we've been to in the past

I've always enjoyed coming to this laundromat because they have really good quality equipment. They have great people who work here who are very welcoming and who care.  Plus they're washing equipment always uses enough water to make sure whatever you're cleaned properly. I've never had to rerun anything a second time when using their facilities and equipment.

Super clean after personal left for the day! Many laundry sizes to choose from (washer and dryer). Everything was working and available. Coin change machine was good. Bathroom was clean and good...I WILL be a repeat customer when I have access to a cab/car.

Clean and well lit, plenty of machines. Prices are great for everything from the washing and drying to the soap and detergent boxes and the vending machine. The address says Greene Street, but the entrance to the parking lot is actually off of Chase. I was there on a Friday evening and the machines were about 25% occupied. This is a great option if you need some quick laundry done in Cumberland!

Very nice place! The owner was very nice and helpful and respectful! Place I could definitely go to late at night or early in the morning and feel safe! Was very clean, and the staff was also very friendly!

Absolutely best place to do your laundry! The owner is the sweetest. She keeps her place spotless. Washers are always clean and actually get your clothes clean. Dryers are hot and prices are very reasonable. Wouldn't recommend anywhere but here.

This place is amazing! It’s 24/7, very well maintained and clean compared to other 24/7 options in the area. I love that it’s a card based system. Your first time you push a button and it issues you a card on the spot and then you can add your funds. They have options to add the funds with both cash and card. This is so much more convenient  that having to find somewhere to make change, or blindly trusting the change machines with in some other locations around town. I work a ton and usually can only go every 2 weeks or so and their washers and dryers handle my family of 3s chore very well! Quick drying time and deep washes! I met the owner today and she was more than willing to assist me with an issue I had with a washer and refund my fee! Definitely make the simple switch to this location!!

The place is quiet and usually available washers and dryers. BUT, that’s the nicest part. The dryers do not get hot until about 3-4 cycles through. They only go for 5-6 minutes then you have to pay another .50. There’s no one here to get help for the machines or even the vending machines. The vending machines don’t take bills and there’s no prices for any of the snacks. The drinks are $2.00 each when you could go 2 stores down to the dollar tree for $1.00 each.
People park in the 5 minute only drop off spot, making it more inconvenient for others. THEN they leave their machines going without being there. No one cares what happens. Also people just park anywhere here, even in the no parking zones nearby. This is rude to those who do follow the rules for safety or convenience of others.  If you can, go elsewhere and get a better experience.

I recommend just going to sunshine. Tried to talk to the OWNER polity about his dryers not working, let him know I wasn't concerned about the $4 because I have lost over $35 since using these. Money isn't the issue, but for people who are struggling, it's bull. He then proceeds to rip my clothes out of my hand and kicks me out of the laundry mat. I approached him respectfully. Again, I was trying to raise awareness for his theft. He knows they don't work. So just go to any other laundry mat. Save your money 💰  it all adds up.

Update* 8/1/2024. Had to stop into this terrible place this evening because it was all that was open. I was wondering if people were still sleeping in there. It seems they now leave their personal items in there as well. So sad that they let people live in here, so unsafe!

Went there this evening and it was filled with smoke and a lady was covered up sleeping on the floor. Her cigarettes, soda and other items were all around. This woman was not waiting on her clothes she was staying there. There is a number to call to report anything that happens but nobody ever answers.

Washer didn't spin at all. Nobody working on site or answering the phone when I called the phone number listed on the wall. Left a message and did not get a call back.

Been told about their broken dryers and they refuse to fix them instead cuss customers out

Tried to exchange my $20 to quarters. The automat gave me only $13. Where is the rest?! Phone number they have - nobody picking up the phone.

Quiet, pretty clean & safe place for 24/7 laundry mat. Prices are relatively decent BUT machines & equipment are aging and growing need of efficiency replacement!  Also ~ needs to add a wash tub/sink and customer use signage for if a machine has a problem.

The price keeps going up on the equipment but the dryers are taking longer to dry. There's always machines broke down. If you get ripped off your money,it doesn't get returned.

This place is dirty and has horrible customer service. I used it once the other day. Their change machine ripped me off for 15 dollars. When I got ahold of them they told me I was not telling them the truth and that they would have to review their cameras. 2 weeks later and no body called and yeah they are arsh*Les.

Dirty, machines malfunction, had water spill out of a frontloading machine while washing putting soap all over floor, just a dump go somewhere else if possible

Put signs on ALL of your malfunctioned machinery or fix it.

Suds Laundromat

The secret is out. This place is sooo very cool. Have a drink in the very discrete bar while you do your laundry. Live music the first Friday of the month makes it extra fun. What a concept!!!

Laundry was open 4-7pm. $1.75 for washer (decent size), $2 for dryer (decent size). Change machine for $1,$5,$10 bills. Attached bar wasn’t open but VFW took us in. Shady area, everyone in the VFW told us to be careful.

One of the best kept secrets in Cumberland. A laundromat that sells alcohol! AND...there's a little bar upstairs. The place is called Suds now(go figure). So, if you need to do laundry, but want a drink, this place is for you!
