A Lifesaver on the Road – RV Travelers, Take Note!

As full-time RVers, finding a dependable laundry service while on the move can be a real challenge—but Plantenga’s Cleaners was a total game-changer during our stop in Grand Haven. They made it incredibly easy for us to freshen up everything from travel-worn linens, outdoor clothing and everything in between.

The drop-off and pickup process was quick and easy. Our clothes came back spotless, neatly folded & packaged, and smelling amazing—better and easier than finding a local laundromat to sit in for 4 hours waiting for your clothes to finish. It’s actually better than our onboard washer ever manages!

Bonus points for their great communication and warm Midwestern hospitality. You can tell this team genuinely cares about both their craft and their customers. If you’re passing through and need laundry done right, look no further. Plantenga’s Cleaners is officially our go-to whenever we’re in the area.

The Henry Street location does not provide a price for cleaning when items are dropped off.  When asked the clerk could not provide the cost.  This is very unprofessional.  I did not find them to be reasonably priced and will be looking for dry cleaning service elsewhere.

Had a not so great interaction with the seamstress. The front desk young lady was kind and polite but the seamstress laughed at me and scoffed when I was asking questions to get a pair of pants taken in. I have never had alterations done before so maybe the basic questions were a bit annoying to her. I decided to take my business elsewhere.

Platenga's is awesome! They altered my wedding dress on a very short timeline before the wedding and got it back to me with days to spare. My dress fit perfectly and my big day was beautiful, and they even surprised me with a little blue bow inside the dress to honor the "something blue" tradition. Thank you for being a part of my big day! Will absolutely come back for any future tailoring needs!

Sent my Tuxedo in for cleaning with plenty of time for them to clean it, only find out they lost and it hasn't been cleaned yet,  but they told me I could drive to Spring Lake and pick my Coat only but it's in a Bag of other people clothes to be Dry Cleaned.  Let me I need it for a Blacktie event and it still dirty and now been sitting all day in a Bag with everyone else's nasty skin flakes and smells. Yeah NO. It has been 2 weeks No One Has Called.
