MJ and her husband were true life savers for my wedding day. When I reached out with a big ask (needing my dress altered quickly) MJ was incredibly responsive and got me in as soon as possible. She brought in a wedding dress specialist, and together they worked tirelessly, measuring every few inches and marking along the way to ensure the most precise hem. Another seamstress even told me it was the best hem she had ever seen!

Due to time constraints, MJ had to get creative with bringing in the bust, and even though I drove all the way from the Springs, she was so understanding of my schedule. When I couldn’t make it any earlier because of work, MJ kindly stayed late just so I could pick up my dress. Not only did they alter it perfectly, but they also had it pressed and ready, making sure everything was exactly as I envisioned for my big day.

Through the entire process, MJ was always so caring and responsive, which made me feel completely at ease. Plus, their prices were very reasonable, especially considering the high-quality work they do. They are truly the sweetest family, and I can’t recommend them enough. I share their name with everyone I know because they truly are the best of the best. Thank you, MJ, for everything!

First time I have used this place. I took three wool items to be cleaned. On the wool sweater they removed  a stain out that I didn’t think would ever come out. They did a good job on the wool jacket which looks almost new now.  They also did a great job on my favorite blended wool sweater. The man (owner?) was very personable and provided great customer service.

UPDATE: First of all, I will admit I didn’t know really anything about dry cleaning and just assumed my sweater was ruined. It was not! Lesson learned, just talk to them if something didn’t turn out right. Hyun was the best, I brought my sweater back in, I explained what was wrong (misshapen) and he so kindly/graciously explained to me a little bit about the process (thank you!) and how he could fix it!
I just had no idea! These people are amazing and now I have experienced them going ABOVE AND BEYOND for their customer. My sweater looks perfect and fits like it originally did with the proper boxy shape. Now I know cashmere can be tricky and to communicate with them. Thank you both so much for taking such good care of me and my cashmere sweaters!!!!

ORIGINAL POST: I was so excited to try this place due to the amazing ratings. I brought in three cashmere sweaters. Two of them were fine, but one of them was (what felt like to me ruined) shrunk and misshapen. I gave 2 star instead of one because the people I interacted with were very nice.

I worked with Hyun to have my wedding dress cleaned after too many years and was so impressed with his care throughout the process. He was thoughtful in planning the process and sourcing the storage boxes and kept me updated along the way. His customer service was some of the best I’ve ever experienced and my dress is now good as new and preserved beautifully for the future.

Had this dress with a lace overhang that looked ridiculous and was driving me crazy. MJ was able to cut it off and do a perfect stitch line…not only that, they dry cleaned it as well! Very happy with their work and will definitely be going back in the future :)

Will be taking all my clothes here from now on. Sue & staff are absolutely lovely. Turn around time was less than a week (despite the jacket needing several deep cleans) and it was less than $20. This jacket belonged to my Grumps before he died, so it’s very special to me. I honestly don’t know if it’d ever been cleaned prior to taking it to Sun Bright Cleaners. Sue treated the jacket with the upmost care, and the results speak for themselves in the pics. I’m so, so, happy. First two pics are the before and after shots. Sue is the only dry cleaner to remember how my husband likes his shirts done even though he only comes in every few months due to his not having that many dry clean clothes. She does an EXCELLENT job, as well, with my clothes. She was able to recuperate a badly wrinkled shirt I had and noticed a spot on the collar that she was able to remove (before I even noticed it)!

This is such a great local spot for cleaning and alterations. I’ve been coming here for the last year. I’m very short and often need to get things hemmed. They do a great job at listening what you need done and implementing it in a timely manner. I also got my wedding dress preserved and cleaned here and it looks brand new again. I don’t know why this place has so many 5 star ratings. They completely ruined one of my shirts and had terrible customer service ontop of that. They did an okay job getting some of the shirt clean but couldn’t get one stain out and introduced two more. They knew I had a deadline for getting the shirt cleaned, they got it done before the deadline but then didn’t tell me they couldn’t get it cleaned. So as a result it was the same as if I never left it with them. Additionally there were new stains added. All they could offer me was a slight discount for ruining a $200 shirt what a joke. I asked why they didn’t contact me and let me know the shirt wasn’t going to be fully clean since it was done before when I needed all they said was it was impossible to contact me let me know which just isn’t true. I’ll never come back here nor would I ever tell anyone to go here. If you need something cleaned quick that isn’t that dirty and can only be dry cleaned, I guess come here, but if you actually want a pro go somewhere else.

Great experience! First time in, they cleaned my clothes perfectly, plus stitched on a missing button for free without even mentioning it. Good people deserving of your business.

Excellent customer service. Im not sure how they make a living charging so little but im not complaining. 20 dollars to dry clean a 500 dollar wool coat, seriously.

I’m seriously impressed! I brought in a white silk top covered in lipstick and drink stains thinking it was ruined. I got it back good as new— actually better than new because when I bought it, it had a foundation stain that they removed too! Thank you John’s Cleaners!

What a fantastic job Mayfair Cleaners did on my bone colored silk blazer! The blazer had a few spots on it and I wasn't sure if they would be able to get them out.  Not only did Mayfair get the stains out,  they made the blazer look brand new. I found their pricing to be reasonable and turn around time was just a few days. I highly recommend Mayfair as a competent and trustworthy dry cleaner.

My recent experience with this dry cleaning business was deeply disappointing and, unfortunately, reflective of a serious lack of professionalism and accountability.

During my first visit, I dropped off several items for cleaning. After the associate printed the receipt, I placed one additional item — a suede jacket — on the counter. I was verbally assured by the woman at the front desk that it was fine to leave the jacket and that I could pick it up along with the rest of my order. However, when my father later picked up the completed order on my behalf (as I live out of town), the jacket was missing.

Upon returning to the store to inquire, I was met not with assistance but with hostility. I politely asked the male associate if he could check whether the jacket might have been left behind. Instead of helping, he immediately raised his voice, pointed aggressively at the receipt, and accused me of lying. He even went so far as to say, “I hate people like you.” No attempt was made to look for the jacket or take my concern seriously.

On a subsequent visit, I noticed two additional items were missing from the original 32-item order. Once again, I approached the staff respectfully and asked whether those pieces might have been left behind. I was met with the same aggressive demeanor, culminating in the associate threatening to call the police. He ultimately did contact law enforcement — and the dispatcher clearly stated that it was not an emergency and that there was no valid reason to involve police over a customer inquiry.

At no point was I hostile or disruptive. I simply expected a reasonable effort to locate missing items. Instead, I was met with an alarming level of defensiveness, verbal aggression, and blatant disrespect.

In response to the business’s public reply below: it is true that I had left an earlier review, which I temporarily removed in the hope of resolving the matter privately. That decision was made in good faith, not because the issue lacked merit. To suggest otherwise misrepresents the situation entirely. The core problem remains — items were not returned, and I was met with rudeness and false accusations when I sought a resolution.

I understand that mistakes happen. However, the refusal to take responsibility, the immediate escalation, and the way I was treated throughout this process are unacceptable for any business — especially one that relies on trust and care with personal items.

I strongly urge others to consider this experience before entrusting valuable garments to this establishment.

The owner’s response is a clear attempt to misrepresent what actually happened and to shift blame instead of accepting responsibility. There was no warning or prior discussion before the police were called — it was an immediate escalation to a situation that never warranted it.

When I first entered the store, I was met with aggression and hostility, including being yelled at to “get out,” simply for asking about my missing items. To then see the business publicly distort these facts to make themselves look good is deeply concerning.

This kind of dishonesty and lack of accountability only reinforces my original point: the business operates without professionalism or integrity. A responsible establishment should focus on resolving issues respectfully, not rewriting the truth to protect its image.

They did a perfect job on my clothing, and it was ready right on time. My sweater had stains and now it looks brand new. Very reasonable price too.

I've been bringing my dry cleaning here for the past 5 years and have always had a great experience with the service. All of my clothes come out laundered and pressed on time! This is super important to me since I'm a traveling consultant. I would (and have) recommended this place to my family and friends.

I moved further away from the cleaners and STILL drive there because they are great!  Most recently they came through on an emergency hemming of bridesmaid dress.  Had it done in just over 24 hours!  Can't thank them enough and recommend them highly.
