Park Avenue Cleaners are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I have all my dry cleaning done with them. They do an excellent job cleaning and pressing my clothes. They are never late and do a great job. I would highly recommend them.

Whatever chemicals they are using has a very overwhelming smell...I returned items because the oder was making me sick...I explained to them what was happening hoping they would correct the issue...instead of correcting they returned the items with same smell...finding a new cleaners...happened more than pnce

I went to this location because I needed a bridesmaid dress altered for an upcoming wedding.
I was quite nervous, as I was unsure as to how exact they would measure it because of the open interpretation of "floor-length" (I.e., touching the floor when standing, just above the floor, slightly trailing in the floor, etc).
After a brief session of me trying on the dress, the woman took my measurements and I went on my way.
About one week later, I picked up the dress and was delighted with the results. The person who took my measurements did a wonderful job and I couldn't have been happier.

Fast-forward to a week ago, I decided to take seven of my button down shirts into the store to be shortened and brought in a bit. For context (and this is important) I buy and wear men's dress shirts, despite the fact that I am a 5'2" woman with a decent sized bust and small waist. (I do this because I appreciate the higher quality of men's clothing, they tend to be more comfortable than women's shirts, and because I like the versatility of tucking the shirt in the back to make it more feminine or masculine looking depending on the day.)
Again, I went through the process of trying on the garments for the woman to take my measurements. I told her that the shirts needed to be long enough to tuck into my pants and that I wanted them brought in a little, but not tight. She placed pins at what seemed like appropriate locations in terms of desired length and fit for the shirts.
Today (9/19) I picked up the shirts after work and tried them in as soon as I got home. Out of the seven shirts, only two of them fit properly in terms of length and back hem. Five of my $100~ Bonobos dress shirts are all a combination of too short and/or taken in much too far. My guess is that maybe the person taking my measurements saw that I was a woman and decided to make the shirts form-fitting and feminine..? The tailored shirts now all have an hour glass shape to them that flares out in the hips and sit too high to be tucked into even high-waited pants without shirt stays. So now, even if I do rip out the back hems in the five shirts, they will be back to their original baggy size and be too short to stay tucked in.
I am not one to exaggerate in reviews, so when I say that I am devastated by how my shirts turned out, I am being completely honest.

This is not to imply that everyone who comes to the business will have results like me. It is just a summary of my personal experience. Again, the alterations on my dress were fantastic.

2 star rating because while I had a 5 star experience with the dress, the experience of having hundreds of dollars worth of shirts being rendered unwearable was really upsetting.

TL/DR; I had a bridesmaid dress hemmed here and the result was immaculate. Later, when I dropped off seven shirts to be hemmed and altered, 5/7 were too tight and too short to be wearable.
