Great Laundry Spot in the Heart of Coral Gables!

Gable Coin Laundry is an excellent place to get your laundry done. The facility is always clean, the machines work great, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Plus, having free parking is a huge bonus! However, parking can be a bit tricky during busy hours, but it’s manageable. Located in the heart of Coral Gables, it’s a convenient and reliable spot for all your laundry needs. Highly recommended!

The overpriced $4-per-load washing machines ate my quarters. I went to the worker for help, but she didn’t understand a word of English, shrugged, and literally ran away every time I tried using a translator. They put a “broken” sign on the women’s restroom, yet I saw employees using it. The only helpful person was the alterations lady who helped me get a drawstring out of the machine. I’d rather pay extra for delivery fluff and fold than suffer through that hot, non–air-conditioned monstrosity.

Good place. It’s a clean place. The machines are in very good condition.

I really like this place. The ladies that work here are really nice and helpful if you need them. The customers are a little odd at times lol and the only negative is when it’s packed you may have to wait for a dryer and most customers take the laundry carts and put there detergent on them so no one else can use them. Other than that, the place is clean, the machines are clean and the atmosphere is pretty good.

Society Cleaners in Miami did an absolutely incredible job restoring my inherited wedding dress, which was covered in deep set stains. I was nervous about trusting anyone with such a sentimental piece, but their team handled it with exceptional care and expertise. They were professional, communicative, and clearly experienced with delicate, vintage fabrics. When I picked it up, I was genuinely speechless the stains were completely gone, the fabric looked refreshed, and the dress had been beautifully preserved without losing its original charm. I can’t thank them enough for bringing this family heirloom back to life in time for my big day.

The owner of this place has absolutely no respect for customers!
She destroyed a $300 brand new satin dress and the customer didn’t even received an apology!
What bothers me the most as a customer is not loosing $300 but her lack of acknowledgment and responsibility towards her customers items!
I cannot stress enough how much I would avoid this place if I was you!
A business owner that is this neglectful and irresponsible is not trustworthy nor has the business ethics needed to have an establishment in Coral Gables!

I came here to get my dress altered as it was too tight on the back and also needed the hem to be shortened. For the back, we decided they would extend the back about an 1” with the leftover fabric from the hem. I picked up the dress today and was in horror when I saw how they “altered” the back. It’s so sloppy and they only added the extension to one side instead of adding 1/2” to each side so the buttons could be in the center. This looks horrible on and off and the workmanship looks extremely sloppy!! I would not come here for any alterations because as you can see in the pictures, it’s not good. If they weren’t able to alter this well, they should’ve called and not touched it all. Total was $75. Not sure how much the hem was but I whatever I was charged for the alteration in the back was not worth whatever they charged me. The only reason I’m not giving 1 star is because they did a decent job on the hem and the staff was friendly. Also want to mention they don’t have a fitting room to try anything on. They tell you to go and try it on in a bathroom that I won’t even begin to describe with no AC at this place. Would not recommend for alterations.

Society cleaners is simply amazing!! After searching high and low in the Miami area to find a reputable wedding gown dry cleaner who also can preserve gowns, I stumbled upon Lourdes (owner) & her team and couldn’t be more proud with the final product. I brought my Monique Lhuillier $10k+ gown & veil there post wedding and was consistently kept in the loop with picture updates and were they stood in the process. They’re professional, kind and fair with prices and the quick turnaround time and attention to detail speaks for itself. The wedding pieces look brand new! Tough stains removed, tears repaired, etc. I’m very thankful for their services and the piece of mind they delivered with two expensive items. I will definitely be going back with more luxury items!

I walked in with a large amount of professional clothing. The man at the counter watched and said nothing. He finally asked why I was there when I asked for help and I responded by saying I would like dry cleaning services. He then tries to make me look at the wall and asks "are you able to afford this?". I did not look (I am a professional and actually grew up with parents who own dry cleaning businesses). I said I did not have to look and I am happy to pay. He reluctantly helped me. He made me count my own clothes and itemize. Never have I received such deplorable customer service.

I should have listened to the Yelp reviews and to my family and friends who warned me about this place. I’ve had family members tell me they’ve even “lost” clothing here.

I’ve been to this dry cleaner three different times, and today was definitely my last. I was overcharged by the manager herself, Alina. When I questioned the charges,$100 at pick up after being quoted with a receipt for $55 at drop off I was told that if I ever see something  listed as $0.00 on the receipt, that means it was charged incorrectly and to speak up - basically putting the responsibility on the customer to catch their mistakes.

To make matters worse, when I got home, I realized they didn’t even hem the item I specifically asked for at drop-off, yet I was still charged for it.

On top of all this, the staff is very rude. Overall, a frustrating experience and I would not recommend this place.

This business is illegally charging credit card fees on debit cards. These go against US credit card policies. Not coming back to this place and will stop recommending to family and friends. They do not have any intentions on resolving this issue either. Usually credit cards can be charged a fee in the US, but never for debit transactions.

I was a little hesitant as I read the prior reviews and saw there were issues but it’s close to where I live and there’s always two sides to each story so I decided to give it a shot. When I walked in the staff was friendly and welcoming. I brought in my duvet cover that I had stained with wine and my husband’s work suit. They told me turnaround time was 3 days I came in on Monday and it was ready for pickup on Thursday today. It was like brand new and I was really happy with the price. The staff was quick to answer my questions and very professional. I highly recommend.

I've used this company several times now and have always had a great experience. Their customer service is outstanding, and they consistently exceed my expectations. I truly appreciate their service and will definitely continue coming here for all my dry cleaning needs.

Dropped off my items on Monday July 7 and got a receipt it will be done by Thursday July 10. I went early on July 10 and was told to come during pick up hours at 5. No problem my mistake. I come at 5 and get told my items are not done and there’s a stain on my shirt they can get out and need more time. Okay? But no one mentioned this when I came already hours earlier?? They then say it will be done MONDAY July 14. No calls nothing. I called Tuesday and both times the woman hung up the line after “going to check” I still don’t have my items and still have no idea if they are ready and not risking driving over to be told some Bull story. I was a first time customer and will NEVER be going back and NEVER recommend this place. I don’t even know if my items were treated correctly since I still don’t have them back. They have a $200 comforter that they overcharged me as well as King when it is a Queen. I read reviews they don’t take accountability for this stuff which is why I am leaving this review.

Update: my husband went to pick up the blanket and they tried to give him a lousy comforter that ISNT OURS. After we expressed this they asked if we were sure… of course we are, very poor organization and mishandling. After 24 hours they said they found my blanket BUT they see the stain and will try and get it out. I’m sorry, I dropped off July 7 and you’re noticing the stain on July 16??? Good grief. My blanket is from Buffy and Lyocell fabric requires delicate handling. We got the blanket back that evening and it’s ruined. The fabric is clumping and not cool to the touch. It’s obvious they threw it in with regular wash and did not listen to my request at drop off where I also did express there was dog urine. I know for fact she didn’t even properly check the blanket since again tagged it as King when it’s a queen!!! They also couldn’t get the stain out probably because they let the blanket sit for two weeks without doing anything to it.
Just to BE CLEAR: I thought I’d make two trips to drop off and pick up, WHYY did I have to go here 4 separate times for a ruined item?

We gave them 6 set of our won wedding outfits for dry cleaning.
They ruined 3 of them. They spoiled the veil of my wedding lehenga, which cost me $380. The second dress spoiled is my reception gown, they made a hole right in front of the dress. and they also ruined my husband’s white pants. You can see pictures. The worst part is they were not ready to accept their mistake the moment I told them the outfit original prices and 2 ladies in front started arguing to convince us that they won't do anything. Horrible service and the ladies are really unprofessional. I would look into legally suing this place for ruining mine and my husband's wedding outfits.

I have been using this business for years even before this new owner took over 4-5 years ago.  I put up with the huge increase in prices.  I put up with the late deliveries sometimes a week later.  I put up with the opening of the business at different hours sometimes leaving me waiting outside 20-30 minutes.  This was not a one time occurrence.  I put up with having to redo my clothes because it wasn't cleaned or ironed properly sometimes twice despite having paid the increased price.  One would think with an increased price you get better service.  NOT HERE. All this to help this owner.  What I will absolutely not put up with, is deceiving and lying to customers.  On this latest visit and last week, I noticed that the amount charged on my credit card was more than what the claim ticket said.  When I asked the owner, she simply stated that the machine was charging more.  I couldn't believe it. After years of putting up with everything, now she sneakily charges more for a CC purchase and then says the price on the claim ticket is for cash despite the fact that it's written nowhere not on their claim check or on any sign within the business.  I guess she believes you have to be psychic because she told no one and she certainly didn't tell me.  I was probably their most regular customer visiting every other week since I work in an office setting and have to look a certain way.  This is outrageous!!! The look on her face was unbelievable just as if I had caught a child with their hand in the cookie jar. She kept on repeating that the machine charged 4 percent more as if it had a mind of it's own.  She forgets that SHE is the owner not the machine and it was her decision to charge that and lie about it. This is not how you run any business or treat ANY customer.  She has lost me for good and probably many more to come.  Stay away at all cost!!! Unfortunately, I can't leave a zero review.

This has to be one of my favorite drycleaners. The new management really made a difference. They have an excellent customer service, their attention to detail is outstanding. I had a stain in one of my favorite shirts which I took, to give it the last try before giving it away, and they were able to take it out. I am so grateful! I have also taken some pants to be tailored and i was happy with them. Totally recommended!

Best dry cleaner in town, and I've been to a few. Friendly staff, fast turn around on all of their services. Quality work and the make good on their promise every time, when they say it will be ready one Wednesday it's ready on Wednesday. I would not hesitate to recommend 👌

Have used this place several times to hem the same pant. Can not recommend them anymore. I received a pair back with a butchered hem. When I took them back they were responsive and going to redo the hem. Upon picking I was told that they had already done one hem and if I wanted to fix it I would have to pay for another.

Came in for the first time and the place is super clean and well set up. The staff was really friendly and explained everything clearly. Prices seem fair too. I already dropped off my clothes to give them a shot.

I was desperately driving around looking for a place to iron a dress for a wedding the next day. I called One Stop and spoke with who I believe was the owner or manager. She kindly told me to drop it off and assured me it would be ready the same day.
About 30 minutes later, I called back to let her know not to open it because my husband had already taken another dress to be ironed somewhere else. She told me it had already been ironed but still refunded what I was charged and said I could pick up the dress anytime.

Not a good place for delicate/designer clothing. I sent a Maxmara coat and it came back too “fluffy”, and a top, nd it came back with damaged/saggy collar.

I deterred from this place because it had a low rating, however I tried it today because my usual washing place was too far at the moment. It was a simple experience, I could get what I needed to do done. There is a vending machine, and sells laundry items. It was also cheaper than my usual spot. They also had a lot of christmas decorations, which was nice. It wasn’t as bad as people said

Decent spot.  Washed and dried a small load for $3.  I had my own soap but they sell it there also.  Not a lot of seating but a decent number of machines.

I always a great service, been going to this place for a long time. The lady that was working today was talking for hours with a guy that was done using one of the machines I needed. I approached the the lady that I needed the machine because I had to go to work, the guy she was talking to said he needed to go to work as well, and the lady said he would take it out when he wanted and continued to talk both the guy and the lady that work in the laundry. Did not care at all about customer service and ignored my request of needed the machine being used. Once I told her I was going to write a bad review, she immediately told the guy she was speaking to for a long time while ignoring me request and others that needed the machine, she told the guy he has to take the clothes away. OXXO Care Cleaners Brickell NEW LOCATION

I trusted OXXO with a very expensive Kiton shirt worth $2,230. After their cleaning, the shirt shrank by two sizes and became completely unwearable. When I went back to address the issue, their staff refused to take responsibility, saying that “more than one month has passed” and they could do nothing about it.

This is unacceptable. A professional dry cleaner should stand behind their work, especially when dealing with luxury clothing. Instead, OXXO dismissed the situation, offered no solution, and showed zero accountability.

After checking Google reviews, I see that I’m not the only one—many customers report poor service and lack of responsibility. Sadly, I experienced the same.

If you value your clothing and expect good customer service, I strongly recommend staying away from OXXO.

I wish I would have read the reviews before going. I have another one star review and complaint to add. I went to pick up a denim jacket that I dropped off about three weeks ago to be cleaned and repaired. When I went to pick up the jacket yesterday, multiple sections were completely threadbare to the point that the jacket is no longer wearable. The employee working insisted that it probably looked that way when I dropped it off - it did not. I am waiting for a call back from the owner - I expect a full refund as well as financial compensation to purchase a new jacket.

As I was leaving another woman came in with a white suit that was “cleaned” by OXXO Brickell. Unfortunately this item was also ruined as well and had blue stains all over it.

Needless to say, I will not be using this dry cleaner any further, but I wanted to write this review hoping that other people would avoid the same mistake.

Horrible service. I took my blazer for dry cleaning, and it came back worse than when I dropped it off. There are noticeable spots on the blazer that weren’t there before, and nothing was done to improve its condition. In fact, it looks worse than how I delivered it. Very disappointing.

I’ve been going to Mr Jeff for years and while it’s only a few more blocks of a walk, there are other options, but I’m glad I’ve stuck with them. They always greet you with a smile, remember your name, etc. Most recently I had requested a rush tailoring request that understandably was a close call as it were and the door dasher accidentally delivered the item to the store instead of my home, and  Hideto was kind enough to deliver it to my door himself so I could have for my event. Thank you!

Absolutely appalled and heartbroken.
I cannot believe the level of unprofessionalism and disrespect I experienced here. I brought in my graduation dress—a dress I specifically chose for one of the most important days of my life—for a simple alteration. I was told it would be ready in a few days. Instead, they kept it for over a week, gave me no updates, and when I finally got it back, not only was it not fixed, but it had stains on it that were not there before. The fabric was damaged, and the entire dress was basically ruined.

This was not just any dress. This was something I had picked out months ago for my graduation—a milestone that cannot be redone. And because of their negligence, I’m now left scrambling at the last minute, stressed and devastated, trying to find something else to wear for a day I’ve looked forward to for years. They didn’t even acknowledge the mistake or take responsibility for the damage. No apology, no refund, nothing. Just a complete lack of accountability.

I trusted them with something incredibly special, and they showed me exactly how little they value their customers or the items entrusted to them. It’s honestly disgusting.

Do NOT bring your clothing here, especially not anything important. They will not treat it—or you—with any care or respect.

I am so pleased with their work.  I now let them also wash the shirts too!
