October 2024 update: they have resolved the internet issue, but I'm keeping it at 2 stars since they had 0 communication with their guests. People had to contact the BBB in order to get a refund. Just be upfront with people... coin machine still broken.

Edit as of April 2022: A new owner has taken over and has installed brand new machines. Prices are reasonable, and the building is much cleaner now.

If I could provide a lower rating I would. The place is a mess, smells like mold, and half the machines either don't work correctly are just straight up broken. If you're lucky to find a machine that doesn't eat your quarters and works, it's filled with mildew. Save yourself the stress and drive somewhere else.

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. The change machine is out of service (has been for 3 years according to locals) the soap/softener dispenser is also out of service. They use the Speed Queen app to pay for laundry services, which normally would be great but all of the machines are off-line!! And as another reviewer stated there is trash all over the floors and the restroom is locked down.  Skip this place and give the other place in town a shot.

Coin machine and QR code /app didn't work. On top was asking to come up with $ 7 for a load. If you want to wash outside of the recommended bank's open hours you cannot go there. Use the place down the road, which actually has a working coin machine and has also smaller machines that cost half the price.

A Gem of a Laundromat!

I had the most heartwarming experience at this laundromat. Not only was the place clean and welcoming, but the owner was absolutely wonderful—a truly beautiful soul inside and out.

I ran into some technical difficulties while trying to use one of the machines, and instead of making it complicated, the owner stepped in with incredible kindness. She offered to cover the cost of both washing and drying for free! Her generosity and warm demeanor made an ordinary chore feel like a special act of kindness.

It’s rare to find such a combination of excellent service and genuine human compassion these days. I’ll definitely be coming back—and recommending this place to everyone I know!

From saranac lake but drive here because compared to SL where the machines are dirty and most don't work and the owners are up your butt bugging you  and messing with your stuff... this one  is  clean! Everything works! Nice waiting  area.

And no staff was at location

However if you can't get change they have a app via phone and you can pay for your machine that way!

Over all I will become a regular customer for sure!!

Desperately needed to spray slush and ice out of my wheels due to it causing an imbalance. Their hours said they were open but when I got there only the laundry mat side was open . Not sure why it was closed but seems like poor business practice to not have a self service car wash available 24/7.

The Asian gentleman who runs   it in summer is beyond rediculous!!  He will watch  your machine!!   What you put in it, how much you do, watch what your doing  while your there.  I know how to do laundry  ....back off!!

Since taking the location over from old owners the prices have doubled! More machines  are broken then machines that work!

The old owners were friendly , would talk to you.. this guy will just skowl at you while your doing  laundry  and stand behind you watching your every move!

He's also been known  to go into machines and take things!!

Save your self a headache  and pay extra in gas to go drive to lake placid  laundromat  or tupper lakes!!

Coinwash worked great for me.

Brought a $10 note and converted to quarters, paid $4 for a load of washing and $1.50 for 15 minutes of drying.

Obviously, make sure to avoid any machines marked “out of order”

Terrible experience! I did my laundry and used one Tide pod per load. The machines are expensive, too, at $4 for a small capacity washing machine. When I was moving my clothes to the dryer, the attendant accosted me and started YELLING at me that I used too much soap. Dude, if your machines can’t handle one Tide pod, then put a sign on them that says “no pods”. And, yeah, here’s another idea: don’t yell at customers.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. The new ownership jacked up the prices of everything and did absolutely nothing to improve the already terrible washers and dryers. You would think the more expensive washers would wash your clothes better right? They actually leave grease stains on your clothes that you will never be able to get out. If you go to them and ask for help regarding that, they will say there’s nothing they can do and you are left out of luck. Your quarters will also get stuck in the machines and when you ask for help, they won’t give your money back. Their “nicer” dryers are now .25 for 3 minutes!! Just think, an average person spends about $5.00 - $7.00 per week. That’s about $240.00 - $340.00 per year, and I can’t get refunded for 1 quarter... I truly wish I didn’t have to come here and the lack of customer service just makes it worse. They should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of the locals who come here on a weekly basis.
