University Cleaners - Augusta St.

Previously we had good service in Lexington.  My husband Contacted Staunton for pick up and delivery services which they said they provided.  Pick up on Monday, drop off on Thursday was the schedule.  Also requested the account under disabled brother’s name for accounting and bill tracking purposes - which was not set up correctly. Have missed quite a few weeks of pick up which pushes off returns.   No pick up last week, thought it was corrected for pick up Thursday.  Missed again Thursday, and missed again today (Monday).  Please don’t offer services which you cannot deliver on.   We will seek services elsewhere.

I've been here to bring in some clothes for church. My pants and button-up shirts have looked awesome. The people are very kind and helpful. Love this place!

I've lived a lot of places in the US and overseas but University Cleaners is simply the best I've ever experienced, and by a considerable margin. In particular the quality of the shirt laundry is exceptional - the starch is perfect. My family has been in the dry cleaning and laundry business since 1932 in Westerville, OH and I worked there as a kid so I do know what good is supposed to look like. These guys nail it!

They did a really well job, cleaning my Class A uniform. But my coat came back missing a button on my coat. But things happen. I had to do a last minute tailor job. But I will most definitely use them again. Pricing was affordable.

They do great work on my riding suits which are super expensive and made from this fabric that is delicate I'm so grateful

I got my best suit dry cleaned there before my move out of state. When I pulled the plastic off to wear a couple of months later there was a hole in the fabric of the lapel that they never told me about which certainly was not there when I dripped it off. They ruined a $700 suit and there is nothing I can do about it at this point.

Had an amazing experience today's at Rich's - I came in today only to get my shirt pressed for my brothers wedding. I'm from out of state and was just gonna do a quick drop off and pick up. The gentleman took it on the spot and finished it in no time.The shirt looked great!

The Clothesline Laundromat is always very clean every time I visit. Mr. Rick does a great job keeping everything tidy and running smoothly. I also love the convenience of an ATM and change machines on site.

The is the cleanest and most organized laundry mat I have ever been to. I have been going to this laundromat for almost 7 years Mr. Rick is always so sweet and very helpful and always has a smile on his face! If there is anything kind of problem he is always there to help right away! thank you Mr. Rick for all your hard work and dedication! It is also short people friendly for short people like me lol. prices are very reasonable, and also has the prices on all the dryers and washing machines. 10/10 highly recommend!

I have been using this laundromat for two years and never left unsatisfied! It is always clean and equipment is well maintained plus great variety of sizes of washing machines.Dryers are hot and if not Rick the man who  does runs it will give your money back and fix the problem. HE is just a call away and handles anything during your visit that comes up! Ĥe is so kind even carried my clothes inside for me and recommended a bigger washer to save me money.Just making my worse house chore so much better by his kindness and nice run laundromat which is just a walk away from me.

Has really gone downhill! Change boxes are full therefore washers returned my quarters. Four front load washers in a row are broke with no signs saying they are broke. Front load washer did not go thru spin cycle. I called the phone number but went to voice mail. Left message but have not heard back. Very dirty washers. Floors were very dirty also. Used to be excellent place to do laundry but not any more!

Large clean and well maintained laundromat. Multiple vending and coin change machines. Good selection of washer/dryer machines. Folding tables and chair seating about the store.i had 3 bars of Verizon 4G LTE Roaming. Large parking lot big enough for any size rig or RV.

First time there.  It's a nice laundromat.  It's clean. Has tables and chairs, a little reading nook. Vending machines.
The only thing that was not good was they do not have the debit/credit feature.  And the prices are not visible on the machines anywhere.  You don't know how much it cost until you start putting quarters in. Maybe put the prices on the machines.

Decent prices and kind and helpful employees .Lots of washers and dryers and a snack area with vending machines & nook area .And everything is always clean and tidy

Overpriced and underperformed.  Employee if you could call her that was talking to a friend or smoking outside.  No wonder im the only one here.  Stay away

Attendant pays attention! She was an absolute sweetheart helping me with my laundry. Luckily thanks to her expertise and wisdom I managed to do my laundry without it looking like a two year old played with bleach on it.

Staunton-Sunshine Laundry Land

So this is our first time visiting this location.
Small laundry mat with fairly decent machines.
Like the card option,  washers work quick .
Location is clean, but no attendant.
Would be nice to have more high capacity washers and dryers.
Not very busy at around 10 and thru 1 pm. That was a big plus.

Machines are typically in great working order. Clientele is something to be desired. Had to have some guy blasting the entire MLK speech on speakerphone which was obnoxious and then another time some woman with no bra spilled detergent everywhere and just left it.

Good place to do laundry. Coin machines work, 30 mins to do washing, 40 mins to do drying and I had a decent week of clothes.

Also cost not bad, $3 for washing if you're doing a regular load. For bigger loads you need to pay more probably $4 to $5.

If your like me you'll need an hour to do your laundry.

Gas to heat water so always has hot water. Comfy bench outside. Fun sticker selection in vending. Vintage Pac-Man arcade game.

Building is old and very outdated dryers are not offering enough time for the money the cleanliness it's terrible in this particular location windows and front doors are absolutely filthy a laundromat is a good money maker but as any business goes you have to make it a clean. And fair priced place...

Lambert Cleaning

They really did a great clean of my home. It was a post construction cleaning. Fast, efficient and thorough. My windows were like brand new. I will have them do my windows regularly. I've recommended John and his crew to my insurance company for future references. Thank you Lambert Cleaning!

We hired Lamberts for a move out cleaning. They charged me for extra labor but it honestly doesn't even seemed like they cleaned anything. The house was empty so I'm not sure how they could've missed as much as they did. They DO NOT offer refunds.

Updated Response: Lambert listed their time of arrival at 11:50am and arrived at 11:30am. There were some items still in the house but they were removed within 10-15min of their arrival.  While they did offer to do a touch-up service, this was a move-out cleaning. The new owner had taken possession of the home by the time they addressed the issues. Since they specifically offer move-out services,  they need to offer refunds, even partial refunds. Both of which were denied.

Finally decided to leave a review it’s been about 2 weeks since our rug cleaning, the gentleman that came out was very pleasant, respectful and knowledgeable. He explained the process and what to expect after. First off I hate carpet and I hate that this entire apartment is carpeted. We have one small dog and she has been pretty decent for the most part. After the cleaning we did as instructed vaccum. For me the carpet feels different but the look, I am not quite sure of. I think it still looks dark. In our heavy traffic areas the color lightened a little letting me know some of the dirt was removed but the areas that were much lighter seem to now be uniform with the heavy traffic areas everything appears dark. Our carpet is brown originally light brown. I was expecting it to become much lighter than when we clean it ourselves.I think for me the cleaning did not exceed or meet my expectations it was just basic. I had really anticipated it coming back to life since the cleaning was “professionally done” versus our home wet vacuum cleaner. Luckily for us this is not our forever home  and we just needed to freshen up our space.

First it is important to say  that the entire Lambert staff from office to rug cleaner are friendly, efficient and the epitome of what customer service should be.We have a 20 year old carpet which, while cleaned several times before, was absolutely filthy-3 dogs who occasionally made a mistake plus daily traffic. The appointment was made quickly, the rug cleaner on time and he did an excellent job. With their technique the rug was essentially dry in 4 hours. We are extremely pleased with every aspect of our experience with Lambert and do not hesitate to recommend them.

We hired Lambert to do a deep cleaning of my mother's house after she passed away.  They were there only there for a few hours and did a HORRIBLE job.  The windows were not touched, the fridge was not wiped down, didn't wipe down the furniture, the stove or the kitchen bar.  They missed several windowsills; cobwebs left on the walls.  Very disappointing.  We had to go back and redo everything they missed.
