I took my Callisto Home comforter to Plaza Cleaners. It is viscose and must be dry cleaned only. I explained this to the gentleman at the counter. He told me it would not be an issue. It has been dry cleaned before at a different drycleaners. When I picked up the comforter it stank of detergent. The quilting looks awful and has shrunk 15”. Please do not take your quality dry cleaning items here. Plaza Cleaners will ruin them and offer no excuse, apology or compensation.

This is a place I recommend for dry cleaners, the lady working there is a great person, the turnaround time is good, and I'd definitely come back to drop off my suit for a dry clean again in the future.

I took a bridesmaid’s dress from the Greenfield Tornado and asked they do their best.  The dress looked as if it had been stomped on with work boots & then rolled through the grass to stain it.  It was returned in pristine condition.  It looked like new.  I tried to tip the woman. She refused.  It was her gift to the tornado victim.  Remarkable workmanship.  Remarkable woman.

They were advertised as same day pick up and I needed my suit done by the next day, but since covid it's been so slow for them she told me it will be ready in 4 days and I was like oh no,I have a wedding the next day and said no one in town couldn't get it done that soon. She offered to get the suit I needed done the most within the next 3 hours and would finish the rest of my clothes on Tuesday! What a lifesaver! She's such a sweet lady, definitely has my business for life!

Plaza Cleaners did a great job cleaning my bridesmaids dress! They provide extra cleaning on grease stains and gave me a larger garment bag to protect my dress. I recommend them to anyone wanted to support local for a great value! Can’t be beat!

This place saved the day! After we moved from CA, it seemed like every piece of fabric we owned was dirty. It was overwhelming.. I stumbled across The Laundry Place late night and thought I’d give it a try. Tucker, the sole worker on site turned out to be my savior. He jumped right on the endless piles of laundry and within a few hours everything was completely spotless, expertly folded and organized perfectly. I mean who would have guessed a guy named Tucker, working the overnight shift @ the laundromat down the street could actually charge my life?! Decided to stop here to do laundry due to a promotional $5 that this business had offered me when I signed up. Throughout the day I continued to stop by, they were ALWAYS PACKED busy. That’s not my complaint! I’m glad they’re doing well!
My complaint is the lack of employees there to clean the place up. Once everyone cleared out, I looked in, saw the mess, and decided to go to a different laundry mat. It’s unfortunate that such a new business is already being treated like garbage!

We love the convenience of the app but it is extremely frustrating that there are never staff on site during business hours since the bathroom facilities are locked when no staff is on site. There has to be a way for app users to be able to get access to a code to get into the restroom... that would even be able to track who was in the bathroom if the issue is vandalism and safety. You are ALMOST there in the 21st century but having a bathroom that is almost never available makes ZERO sense.

No staff to assist with anything or even let us into bathrooms. No way to reach anyone for help. But location is clean

The facility was obviously new. However it was not well maintained clothing, garbage, dryer sheets, and the little carts strung about like a tornado had come through.
Very good concept however not very user friendly. I hadn't ever been in a laundry mat like this and their app is not user-friendly or helpful whatsoever. You have to touch the screens to see the price then you have to know your washer and dryer numbers so you can go to a kias and pay. You can change your water and soil level too bad the price doubles just to go to the next level. The dryers are as all others .25¢ for 4 min but for being new dryers they do not dry the best. I absolutely appreciate the idea however there are several things that will Detour me from using the facilities again.

Lots of tables to fold with paper towels.
Change machines. Pretty plants everywhere.
Machines with supplies that you need.

TV set on kids channels for distraction!
Appears to have drip off service.
Clean, however, needs sweeping. Dryer sheets are all over the place and a slip hazard.

Dropped off 3 sets (6 total panels) of curtain panels for cleaning. Was told 7-10 business days which I thought was a long time. After 4 business days, I  received a txt that they were done along with the attached invoice for just over $200! The curtains did not even cost that much brand new from the store. I told them they should really give people an idea how much things could potentially costs when they are over $100. I told them to keep the curtains. Never heard another word back from them. Someone must have needed curtains. Don’t go there or if you do, get in writing the price of dry cleaning.

When I dropped off my clothes I dropped off my own hangers and a hanging bag to use instead of plastic. I was told this was all great. Then when I picked up my clothes they didn’t have my hangers in them. They had them and I was able to put them back in, but THEY LOST MY HANGING BAG!! Turns out they couldn’t do anything they told me that they could! I paid for that hanging bag! DON’T GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS OR YOUR CLOTHES!!

Great place for dry cleaning!!! I moved up the street and this place has done a great job! I have to wear a shirt and tie everyday so I was up there quite a bit. Drop off and pick up days are Monday Wednesday Friday which I didn’t like at first but I got used to it. Highly recommended for your high end clothes that need dry cleaned!

I had an extremely negative experience at this place from one of the owners. I asked her to put a note on the sleeve of my blouse that was souled and she told me flat out that she could not. I left my blouse initially  but after driving two blocks turned around and got it back from them. There's no way I would use their service.

You should really implement a policy to keep your drivers off their phones when driving. This was March 31st of 2025 at 9:40am eastbound on i80. I was behind a white chevy van of this company and the guy was watching a video or  movie of some sort wearing headphones. I could see it clear as day and he was swerving all over the road after being behind it for a few miles I decided I didn't want to get caught up in the crash he was going to cause so I passed him in my semi blew the train horns for a good 5 seconds then noticed he was also wearing headphones so he couldn't hear a damn train horn 10 feet from him! I've got it all on my dash cam this man should be fired immediately before he kills someone and your company is held liable!

Tried to drop off a down comforter that had a bit of dog pee on it. (Aug. 23- 2024) Was told they could not clean it because it would go in with other customer items - other soiled clothing than I might suggest contain various sundry bodily fluids. I asked if they could clean it separately. Nope. Seemed ridiculous. Drove to a different dry cleaner and MAGIC!!!! they can clean it.....

I wish I had read the reviews of Victoria Cleaners before I used them. I acknowledge that dry cleaning is expensive but no where do they post prices so I had a huge and upsetting sticker shock when I picked up my clothing. The clerk was defensive and reluctant to give an itemization of costs. Furthermore, they provided no receipt and one coat was missing. The clerk said it was stained and needed further work. When we went back to pick it up, no work had been done on it and it was marked "needs consent because of material." Overall, this is a business that has no pride in itself and no desire to claim repeat business through good service. Noted, I will take mine elsewhere.

I’ve been there twice now after our neighborhood dry cleaners in Sherman Hill closed. Disappointed each time. The staff makes no attempt to show any caring about customers. I showed them a blood stain and hoped they would mark it, as my other cleaners did, but they did not and said blood doesn’t always come out. After being dry cleaned—blood is still there. Same remark as before. No discount or apologies....
I will search for another dry cleaner that makes me feel as if they would like my business, as dry cleaning fees are not cheap.

I have had multiple  issues with this location in particular.  Recently they attempted to clean shirt and in the process shrunk this tailored shirt.  After bringing the shirt back  in describing the issue I waited for a response from their management .  Managements response was to first try to talk down the pricing on the shirt. Next,  he attempted to provide store credit.  After having multiple issues is no longer interested in doing business with them,  I communicated this to them directly.  Neil at that point I decided to not do anything in the assistance of this customer.  Disgusting customer service I would not trust your wardrobe the location or a location under his management.

Horrible don’t waste your time. Walked in the door wasted $1.25 for soap didn’t even come out. Maybe maintain this better? Re fill supplies? Clean this place up. It’s horrible. You don’t even answer either. And 14 quarters for a quick wash? Wild 🤣 I’ll be going back to my fleur laundry location. It’s cleaner. Nicer. & worth the pay.

Spent $4.50 plus laundry soap and fabric softener today to do a load of laundry.. The washer did not have any water.  I called the number they have posted. No answer, left a message, no return phone call.
Plus there lots of homeless sleeping on tables and using the restroom to take their sponge baths. They also hound people for money. I won't be returning to this place.

The facility is very clean and the machines worked just fine. I would normally reccommened. But the staff member working was not very welcoming. We came in around 6:30 pm. Two hours before closing and the women on the clock informed me and every customer that came in after me that she "had been there since 7am". In addition, that it has been busy all day and to hurry up "because she has cleaning to do". This continued the whole time I was at the facility and up until we left. She was even in the parking lot expressing her irritation with the amount of customers in the building. I understand working long shifts can be stressful, especially during this time. But as a customer, this staff member made me and others feel unwelcome and rushed.

Their washers don’t use hot water, did a hot water wash on my comforter and watched and hardly any water came out for the wash and I asked why (the blue tide spot was clearly visible and not wet while washing) she said you shouldn’t wash in hot water most people don’t- what? Most people wash in hot water, basically saying the hot water is not plugged into the machine but I choose a hot water wash so I just didn’t get any water for a wash- they basically said oh well and the rinse cycle will clean it- beyond disappointed spending 5 dollars for nothing, now I have to wait for it to rinse and go wash it AGAIN at another laundry mat. Will never be back. Also the lady drying clothes told me only one of the dryers work!

Washers and dryers are great. I've never seen an employee in here, despite being here between 7-9 AM, usually. Restrooms are never open so that's what's got me looking for another place to go. If I'm going to do laundry for a few hours and spend money, I'd like to respectfully use the restroom if I need to go. Makes no sense but whatever.

Also, the place is trashed every time I come in the mornings. I almost ate the floor slipping on a random dryer sheet.

This was by far one of the best laundry mats I have ever been to. This place had spotless washers and dryers that worked wonderfully dried clothes fast and they were dry. The washers and dryers were all clean and well taken care of.The prices were very affordable as well.they also have dexterpay which is so convenient.

I think if you look at my reviews on Google you’ll see that a solid majority is very positive- into a life a little rain must fall. The premise of operating a laundry that can be completely paid for electronically by the consumer is dope but I will NEVER go back to Clean Laundry on Euclid because it was such an incredibly bad experience because of people who have not taught their school age children how to behave. The poor unfortunate staff person tasked with cleaning and taking out the trash was also tasked with asking adults to rein their kids in. I then stood and listened to the parents make snide remarks about the person who advised them their children’s behavior was unsafe. Love not having to pay with coins. You knocked that one out of the park!

This is a clean laundry facility.  They have Dexter pay app. Dexter pay is app for the machines. You sign up after you download app on phone through Google Play Store or if you have an Apple store.

It does take some patients but make sure you type in the store location# and a credit card to payment app. (Picks of the location I use.)

Barely any water in the washing machine.  The app wouldn't work, the card machine wouldn't work. Trash all over the floor andddd I couldn't use the bathroom JUST TO WASH MY HANDS because it's for customers only- even though I just paid 5 dollars to get my clothes a little wet.

I had some laundry that needed to done quickly.  Most places don't do wash and fold on Saturdays.  They were quick and everything was clean and nicely folded. I would definitely use them again

I’m very disappointed after my experience here today. My apartment’s dryer is out of service so I went here for laundry. VERY expensive for only 25 minutes of wash time and you can’t even use your scent beads.. the “one hour” is total bs. I had to restart the dryers multiple times for my laundry to be dried.. very annoying considering that is why I’m here. I left with one load still damp because I had just had enough. There’s a sign that says “no refunds, all sales final” I felt this was a total rip off for a laundromat.

Friendly staff, and so are many of the patrons. Very positive laundry experience. We love paying with the app. No more wrangling quarters. Climate control and the floors are swept. Never found any hair in any of the machines.

A little confusing but once you get there, it is an easy process. They pick up the clothes from your car and return them when you pick up to the car. They do take "walk ins" but you have to call when you arrive so they can retrieve your clothes.

Goes a good job cleaning. I like the drive thru, very convenient. Espically, these days. I took a star off because there is an older lady there that isn't the friendliest. Just let me get a smile. One smile. Please.

This place is wonderful! I am driving through on a long trip and took a chance to come here. Alyssa was so helpful, both thorough and thoughtful. She is the definition of Above & Beyond service!

The staff are very hard working, courteous and friendly. They care about the place and their customers. I had issues with the card system and they went above and beyond to help me out and resolve the problem. Very nice people, clean and well maintained comfortable Laundromat here. I will never go anywhere else to do my laundry. Tiffany is awesome and very helpful. This is by far the cleanest laundromat that I have been to in the Des Moines area. Even Having issues with one of the dryers on a Sunday the owner answered my call and helped fix my issue immediately. And they even offer wash and dry service with great prices

Isabelle is the nicest, hardest working lady!!  She keeps the place so clean, even the restroom when you are aware some unhoused people use it! She will help with anything you need, navigating the complex machines and just being super friendly.  The dryers work great, no need for extra time if you don't overload. A relative used the drop off service it was very costly and attendant used too much soap but manager fixed things buy putting through a second time with no soap! Good customer service! Give Isabelle a raise, $$ she is FANTASTIC 😇

This is my go to Laundromat! Everything is super clean, there's always a gal cleaning the machines after every use when I'm there.

I love the card system- no need to haul around quarters anymore! You can load up your card with either cash at the kiosk or a debit or credit card at the machines themselves! Plus you earn points from washing and drying clothes and once you reach 350 points you get $3.50 credit added to your card!

I do wish that they had one of those handicap push buttons outside both doors, it would make it much easier to get the door open while carrying in my laundry.

NOT AFFORDABLE in my opinion, because it's literally the same price as any other laundromat, PLUS they tack on extra fees.

Pros- Clean environment. Accepts quarters and credit cards.

BUT after you select your wash and start to pay then they ask you if you want all this extra stuff. It implies that there might not be enough water to wash your clothes, or all the detergent might stay in your clothes if you don't do a second rinse for a dollar more. ALSO if you select one of those then it changes your wash to HOT instead of cold if you previously selected cold. VERY VERY annoying. I did not want to wash those clothes hot, and it wouldn't let me change my selection because I already paid. I'm just going to wash my clothes in a bath tub until I get a washer machine, forget all this corporate-greed expensive nonsense.

I came here with a friend about a month ago and had a good experience, but decided I wanted to try other places.. went to a different laundromat nearby and I gotta say, I will not be doing that again. Swift suds is generally very clean, and honestly SO peaceful for being a laundromat environment. It’s also very affordable (as long as you bring your own detergent). I guess I’ve found myself a new laundromat home😂

Busy Bubbles Laundry

I had come here 2 weeks now and no attendant.  Today my pictures will tell the story.  I don't know how to reach the owners directly but the phone will just roll over to the answering machine.

We really like BB's. Their name is so cute and they accept good ole' fashion quarters - dryers are $.25/several minutes -  enough time to dry a light load.

I may only have enough to wash one load but I know I can get it dry, too :).

Thank you for leaving the washer doors open so they don't mildew :).

This is a lovely little laundromat. It has very fair prices on the washers and dryers, and a few areas to sit so you can stay with your laundry. I recommend this place. It's a cute little slice from the past in vibes.

Not enough dryers.
Paid $35! for wash and fold nearly all of my t-shirts were inside out and socks/ undergarments weren't folded. Just jammed in my bag. This was done for me at the other location. What gives? Will not be using your services again.

It a very quiet Laundromat but its layout is very disorganized. Washers in middle and dryers in the back and in the corner. Not very functional.  Otherwise clean, plenty of chairs that are outdated, coin machines, atm machine, laundry services also provided.

Very convenient location I live right up the street. I’ve definitely made my laundry days when LaNae works. She very nice and respectful. My kids love her. It’s always smelling good and looking very clean every time I come to do laundry.. absolutely love her. Very comfortable and acceptable,affordable and clean.

Today's experience was great. I use the app on my phone to start the machines and it worked well. The bathroom was clean and smelled good. The machines were clean and shiny. The worker was mopping the floors real good with a smile.

Honestly, I was skeptical at first coming here, but was blown away! The building was nice and clean, the machines worked great, everything was reasonably priced and I plan on coming here again! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to do their laundry!

One large wash 9 dollars. Dry 30 minutes 2.50 because the machine only gave me 15 minutes had to recharge 2.50 again. Looked at my bank account it was charged 20 dollars?

I think Latisha at SE 14th Laundry Placeis the hardest working employee i have seen. She maintains the business clean and efficient service to customers. I believe she should get a decent raise for her work and customer she proves. That's why I use your facility.

Clean well lit but they put a $10 hold on my debit card when I used it to start the washer. I wondered why the other washer said card declined. I checked my account and it says $20 for the laundry place. I went in to find a number to ask why. They do have like 2 8x10 signs that are not easy to see telling you this but of course I didn't see them. So I unloaded the washer I hadn't started because I only had 7 left in the bank. So my daughter sent me $10 on cash app. I went in to put money on one of their cards and it informed me there would be a 2.75% surcharge for the transaction. Nope! Nevermind! I will go somewhere else.

Beaver Avenue Cleaners

I drop off my Santa suits here each year after my season ends. They go out of their way to take care of the needs of the customer. Been going here for about 15 years now, and won't switch!

I love Beaver Avenue Cleaners. My dad and I have used Franklin cleaners for a very long time so we were really sad when they shut down. Learning that Beaver Cleaners had the same ownership and even seeing familiar faces reassured us that we can continue to get the same great, local service at the same reasonable prices. They always take great care of my suits and they even mended one of my favorite skirts for far cheaper than our tailor quoted me. This is the only dry cleaner I use because they’re prompt, polite, and I know I can trust them to do a good job!

I had the best experience with Beaver Cleaners! The lady at the front was so friendly and helpful and they cleaned my dress super fast! I found a dress at an estate sale and wasn’t sure it would ever get the stains out but Beaver Cleaners delivered! Super reasonable prices and I will be going back the next time I need something cleaned.

Just had the best experience here. 1) They were able to get the stubborn stains out of my husband’s favorite football jersey, and he is so very excited! 2) Their hours have been back/forth due to COVID, so I came at 730 assuming they’d be open, and didn’t see the sign that said revised hours to open at 8. However the employee was there and let me pick up anyway! True customer service. (Also, they have a drive through which is really helpful as a disabled person, so I do not have to get out of the car!)

I'm giving the one star to the new girl at the desk that handled my melt down well. I dropped 11 items off to be pressed only on Monday for my cruise I leave on in 3 days. I Called Wednesday and was told my items were delayed (no biggie.. we had a storm) today I arrived and was told no clothes were there for me or my claim ticket. , gal made calls and looked at me clueless and said they aren't at park ave either.  I had a claim ticket but there's no record of my stuff being dropped off. I went inside and realized this store is in the 1950,s!!!  I went behind the desk and found my own clothes. I realized they don't even catalog your belongings in a computer. It's hand written and after a very stressful search we solved the mystery. My name and claim ticket were assigned to clothes that didn't belong to me. The credit card machine is dial up and I swiped twice  as it won't clear. Was told oh it happens all the time... it will "back charge later." After all this I expected some reward for doing their job..and my panic attack... "a next time we can do a discount, ANYTHING showing my value... Nope just "I'm glad you found your stuff" Beware friends this could have ruined my vacation!! P.s owner also own skeffingtons I truly expected better customer experience when she told me this...

When I got here and walk into the laundromat it was so dirty. But it wasn't that  workers fault, someone had gone in there and what looked like deliberately spilled their soda all over the floor. And for some reason there's an open box of Cheerios laying on the floor with Cheerios all over the floor in the back. But it did not keep me from doing my laundry. They're snacking machine has always been stopped right along with their drink vending machine. Still a great place to go do your laundry.

The lady was very polite, she was working HARD, the facility was spotless, the stainless steel was spotless, the seats were clean, carts were put away, not a spec of anything on the floor, glass was squeaky clean, no fingerprints on anything, & everything was dusted! I love coming here to do laundry unlike the boujee CleanLaundry down the road!

This is my first experience here. I used to work at a really nice laundromat in Fort Dodge so I know what they're supposed to look like. This place was dirty stuff all over the floor. There's no attendant on duty. The Wi-Fi password isn't posted I had to call customer service to get it. The bathroom smells l like poop! Really bad! The laundry was priced reasonably and there was a little Caesars restaurant next door so that was nice. But I will never come back here again!

Cleanest laundromat I've EVER used! Even the restroom was immaculate! Machines were ALL working, which is unusual for a laundromat.  Machines are a bit pricier than other laundromat I've used, but the ones here ACTUALLY cleaned the clothes! Dryers are nice, and have wrinkle control!

Excellent service,  by far the best in the country,  never experienced this kind of hospitality in a laundry mat. It kind of reminded me of when you pulled up to the gas station and never stepped out of your car and you got gas, and all your fluids checked. This guy Nate went beyond his service expectations. he should get a significant raise for the sincerity, and genuine care for the customer was impressive to say the least. You just don't find good people like him anymore. Thank you nate.

Been coming to this laundromat for years. Cheapest place in town to wash your laundry even after the change in ownership. Cleaner than most places. Heather is great. Always talking to me and making my laundry day fly by.

Tried the drop off, wash and fold cleaning services for the first time. I must say that I was pleasantly pleased.  Allow me to use my own detergent. I was surprised that I got a call earlier than expected from Angie behind the counter. The Asian man working kept harassing the black folks asking if they are there to do laundry and yelling at them if they APPEARED to just be hanging around. Washing prices are high and the place is not clean. Smh…

I am sorry this place has not made more of an effort to be consistent & customer oriented. On the sign I posted below it says they close at 9:30, not true, when I came a couple nights ago, they said they close at 8 and they won't even let you come and dry your clothes and that's one of a few disappointments, since it's very dirty and nobody seems to come during the day to clean, why can't they just stay open later? Of course they reserve the right to stay open for as early or late as they want....& I reserve the right to (& will) go elsewhere...Again it is a shame, ideal location. Hope my clothes get dry.

Worst experience ever...... machines are on their ladt legs loaded the $11 machine only for it to not after inserting money then to makes matters work the place is runninging itself, there was no one on site to assist and you have to wait 15 to 30 minutes for anyone to come. Only gave it 1 star because I had to

They locked my closes in the building the lady in charged of the place closed an hour early, she didn't care people's clothes where still in the dryers. I saw her drive off, hunked at her to get her attention it didn't work, I called the number on the window, I looked for their website sent an e mail no response , face book same results. I sat there for an hour trying to reach anyone related to this business and there was no way of communicating anyone. I had two loose three hours of work to wait for them to open in the morning to get my clothes. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has gone through this with this business.

Wowsers!!! Them folks that clean this place really have their hands full... Especially in the colder months. They do strive to keep it clean in there but it's like an uphill battle. One of the only laundry places that still accept coins for the machines. Crazy right? But true.

Honestly best laundry mat IVE been to my whole life… and I’m 17 currently. Me and mom came in recently to wash our clothes and a machine took about 5-6 dollars worth of coins and I texted the number hanging up on the walls about our
Problem. They texted quick, somebody came in and gave us our coins back ! Honestly some amazing service. Def recommend this laundry mat.

Just opened not that long ago. So all the machines are new which is nice. Seemed a little pricey. There is no attendant on duty. At least on the Saturday morning that I was there. The 77th lb washer was not working. Also the dollar change machine was out of service. Was only a few people in there while I was there which pretty much left me with the entire place to myself which is. There is also a taco truck that sets in the parking lot of the laundromat which has awesome tacos for $ 1.50 each.

Great place to do laundry. Took my big covers and blankets to freshen them up for winter. You can cozy up, read a book while your stuff is getting washed/dried. Owners is super helpful and friendly! I 100% recommend you to go try it out :).

It's usually pretty clean nice big trash bins but sometimes can be crazy hot inside and there are no outlets available to the public.

Paityn was such a wonderful help today. Her manners are fantastic and she was such a joy to talk to. It was my first time visiting The Laundry Place on Beaver today and I will absolutely be visiting again, what a pleasant experience I had!

My apartment complex has its own laundry however lately management hasn't been keeping up with machine repair and pet hair.  So I thought I would check out a laundry mat.  I picked this one for its outstanding ratings.
Yes, the facility is clean and open 24 hours.
Yes they take credit cards right at the machines.

However, I went from paying $8.75 total cost (at my apartment complex )  to $28.26 at The Laundry Place.

Perhaps these are the laundry mat prices with everything costing more.  However,  a $20 difference will keep me doing laundry at my own apartment complex and save $1040 / year.   I will deal with the pet hair and ask for refunds on broken machines for that price difference.

Such good service.  Clean, wonderful attendants, good service,  working wifi. i missed a shirt in the washer and one of them noticed it and asked if it was mine. There were 2 attendants there Friday morning the 7th, just a couple days ago. I wish I could remember their names so they got recognized as amazing.

I go to the laundry place  at this location almost every Friday, first time Ive seen Jennifer and she was so nice, and has been as well the first time that an employee has had a conversation with me, which is great btw!

Dryers take a very long time to dry, drying OVER an 60 minutes per average sized 1 load. Dryers don't seal, you can see it but they don't fix them or refund your money. So spending so much drying, plus the amount of time drying, you're better off at a different laundromat

Rather clean, and quiet place to do laundry. Not much for sitting accommodations, but considering social distancing, its understandable. They do close earlier (7pm) so they can deep clean and have it ready the next day. KnG is N. Across the street if you want a quick stop.

It used to be my favorite place to do laundry but now they let the commercial laundry next door do their laundry there so there's never machines.
They took out the free internet and the TVs and there's never an attendant there when you need one. It's really gone downhill must be new management or something.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place was dirty and none of the coin machines worked (even though the light was only on one of the machines saying out of order). I will never go back. Go down a few blocks and find an AMAZING laundromat by Bowlarama!!

Dryers work great! The pop machine took $2  from me and of course no attendant so no refund. This place is older kind of run down and dirty. The entrance has stairs on the side by the parking lot, which is rough if you have more than one small basket to carry. The bathroom was, not accessible. The lights inside shut off just before 8:30pm. Dangerous for a female unaccompanied. Would not recommend.

Really good, my first time inside and I wasn't disappointed. Specially recommend to anyone looking for a laundry mat. Go see for yourself, don't just rely on my words.

Clean place always smells good. Never have had to wait for a washer. Average as far as costs but also has huge washers, like 5 loads in one washer nice.

It is great to still have a coin laundromat. Many choices for size of washers. These places where you have to use a card, rip offs because if clothes aren't dry you have to spend another $2.00 instead of a quarter for more minutes. Too bad people loiter because owners can't be there all day but not having an attendant keeps the costs low. Like going in am, not crowded and parking available. They close at night so no unhoused people trying to stay warm or sleep. 👍🙂

This laundromat is unattended so if you have any issues you are out of luck.

The change machine wouldn’t take my money and the ATM is out of bill. One of the change machines is actually open so you can reach in and grab whatever quarters you need. Probably not something this business wants.

The radio is blaring but the WiFi seems to work. Also, there is no AC.

There’s a homeless man wandering in and out of the building, loudly talking to himself, and using the bathroom that is clearly marked “out of order.”

At least my clothes are clean 🤷‍♀️

They no longer appear to have free drying on Tuesdays and Thursdays, even if that's mentioned in older reviews. You can't pay with coins or cash, only a card, even though there's a coin machine. I think you can get a card to load with money. Washing (25 min) ranges from $4 for small washer, to $5.25 to medium washer, to $6.50 for larger washer. Dryers are large and can do $2 for 20 min, $2.50 for 30 min, $4.00 for 45 min. There's a really unpleasant smell to the place under the smell of laundry detergent, like something rotting. You may want to sit in your car while your laundry goes. They place a $20 hold on your card for any purchase, and I've got two currently after paying for 3 washers and 1 dryer. There's also another 2.75% fee on top of whatever you're paying, which seems ridiculous to me when the wash is already pretty expensive and they don't offer a cash option. Seems like that should just be built into the price.

The Laundry Place is so nice! It’s really clean, very cool (in the summer) with a big fan that’s circulating air. Tay is fantastic! She is so friendly and worked hard the entire time we were there cleaning (even detailing the machines) and greeting everyone to make sure they had what they needed. She’s such a gem! They also have many sizes of washing machines and we were able to clean a HUGE washable rug in record time. We will be back!

This is a fantastic place. I haven't been in a laundromat for over 50 years and was very pleasantly surprised. Katie, the attendant was more than helpful. Very kind and welcoming. She went out of her way to show me around and how to navigate my way through things. I highly recommend  this place.

I needed help folding blankets and I also asked for a bag for my blankets I usually get a bag no charge I didn't know they charged for bags because it was never mentioned usually there's always a very nice woman brown hair glasses that helps me fold my blankets for how small I am she offered one day an ever since she has always been there to help me fold but there was a different woman bigger blond hair I asked for help from and she was so rude with a mean face she said no to helping me fold my blankets and she said no to the bags for my blankets I was going through somethings at the time I could barely fold big blankets that made it hard to fold by myself that's why I was upset never been back since I usually always go to wash house laundry but that lady being as mean as she was I don't want to go back.

This place is awesome, super clean, great machines and most important friendly and helpful staff.
They have free WiFi and a very welcoming feeling.
If I would live here this would be my go to place.

They will deny it, but one of the dryers on the west wall has a stable wormhole into the the Anti-realm.  Our mother once traveled there through a swimming pool with her brother.  That portal collapsed but the Washhouse gate opened soon after.  Unfortunately, it empties into the Anti-realm 4 kilometers above the surface and now liters the planet with lint and stray socks-creating a wasteland.  Nice laundromat though.

This business is a gem on the south side of Des Moines.   Very clean and welcoming.  Attendant on duty is very helpful and friendly.  Will definitely come here again.  Very impressed!!
