Came into town for less than 24 hours for the funeral of a loved one. I called and asked if I could just have the wrinkles pressed out of my suit from the flight. I explained to the older lady why I was in town and could I have a fresh press. She said they were turning the steam off soon so I would need to come now. This is at 930am and they close at 530pm. She said they’d be ready at 430pm. I asked how that could be if the steam is turning off. What would they be doing with my suit for the next 6 hours?

I explained that I had to be at the funeral home by 4 and she said, ok I can get it for you by 330. Again, I explained the timing and offered to pay more but could I have it at least with enough time to dress, so I don’t have to get ready at the funeral home? No empathy, no condolences for my loss, no willingness to give any effort to make the 10 minute process of pressing a suit happen before the moment I needed it 6 hours later. I was really shocked.

I live in Florida but from Louisiana and know the people to be caring and thoughtful. It seemed they were trying to make it difficult to help someone in need. After losing a family member, then spending $1000 of a last minute flight, and all the other things needing to be managed, I’m disappointed that this company has that level of service. The suit was ready by noon for $18 (literally to steam a few items that had a few wrinkles but were already dry cleaned) but it was an unnecessary interaction.

This laundramat is by far the best in this area. I live over 20 miles away and will drive to East Union to do laundry! I enjoy bantering Mr. Drew! He's funny!

Machines were all nice and clean but the old homeless guy needs to go!!! He works there but will not leave people alone while they are doing laundry. I do not want or need some person looking over my shoulder while I'm doing my laundry!! I'll never go here again because of that
