The owner of this business was so rude to me and 2 other people that went first thing in the morning. I guess she was not expecting customers to come in as soon as she opened. I actually ended up taking my clothes to be hemmed somewhere else and i don't recommend a place at all, if you expect decent customer service.

Shocking ignorant service.   Rude.  I shall not return.  Dropped off a pair of pants to be altered (I had them altered same place last year- woman at front told me that is “not our stitching” yet I paid for it.  She said “only good for one year” yet if you don’t do it the first time how can it be guaranteed. Anyway rude and I’ll never go back.

I called asking for a quote for a some clothes and The response was. "You bring clothes, I give price" in all the places I have reached out to, this place has been by far the worst in term of customer service.

Walked in to drop off a down coat. Apparently they were closed. Lights on front doors open. I was greeted with "we are closed" screaming volume. Turned around and left.  I won't be back. Extremely poor service.  I was a repeat customer.

I used to take my work uniforms here for the last few years. However over the weekend, I had one of those days and needed to pick up a work shirt by 4pm. However, due to having one of these days I remembered last minute. I called and respectfully asked if they could please stay open a few extra minutes for me to get there to get the shirt. I was told no multiple times and they were closing at 4 sharp, which I understand. However i could have been there a few minutes after 4 and was told I wasn’t allowed to come. Upon entering the shopping center at 4:30, I saw the employee just now leaving. So, I couldn’t have arrived at 4:10 to get the shirt, but she didn’t even leave until 4:30. I understand closing at 4, but it would not have been a big deal for me to to get the shirt slightly late. I felt this was extremely rude and discourteous. I will not be returning.

The service is fast, excellent, and professional.  The workers are extremely friendly and whether you are getting alterations or in need of dry cleaning, they will help you out.

Great place! I brought in my husband's 2 nice outfits on Tuesday and I needed them by Friday and it was no problem at all. Really happy I found this place. The lady that works the front counter is very sweet. Thank you so much! My husband is going to look great for his nephews baptism this weekend 😊

Hub Bubbles opening sign on door is 6am - 11pm...arrive around 5:58am, guess what the doors didn't unlock until 6:05am.
The women (employee ) standing at the front door of the laundromat: said it opens at 6:05am, nothing I can do about it! What was that all about greet with a sour face and sarcastic remark!
too early in the morning for that! We wash our clothes at Hub Bubbles, do this laundromat have any respect for regular customers like myself spending money at this laundromat!

Has it's up and downs. Washers and dryers are great. Employee, not so much. I walked in and threw my clothes in and someone I knew came through the building by chance and said hi ...guy literally yelled and threw a fit that it's not a place to hang out and the other person was obviously there to see me (not the case at all .....hadn't seen him in a couple years). This isn't an isolated event. Same employee out back smoking marijuana with another man that was catcalling. Very unprofessional and uncomfortable and also inconsiderate in so many ways. I would recommend anyone in htown but here. I have a severe heart issue and being attacked like that with him screaming and approaching me with fists balled up and tense all over, had my chest hurting so badly that I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't have a cardiovascular event!!! Truly frightening experience. A new employee is a priority or business will continue to be lost as he has yelled at me once before for taking too long to wash/dry/fold my clothes. My back was broken and I scatter started 9 jumbo (largest loading washer) washers, meaning they were scatter dried also. He yelled because I was there for 3 hours right when I was finishing my clothing anyway. I don't know why he's so angry, but my goodness, I feel so dang bad for the people around him constantly. I've never felt so judged and downgraded my entire life by a complete stranger!!!

SUPER spacious and very clean. All machines are industry grade and the business offers everything from 20lb load machines all the way up to 80lb for washing, 75lb for drying.

They accept both quarters and debit/credit card but you must download and sign up for "The Laundry Boss" app in your phone's app store and add your card information. Works great though! Highly recommend this option.

Facility has laundry carts to assist with heavy loads, a few benches for waiting on quick loads, a few power outlets, and if you forget your detergent or dryer sheets they sell both for $1 each (coins only!).

It's also located up the block from the Penny Mart so you can grab a snack while you wait, and nearby is the Hub City Vinyl Record store if you get bored easily waiting on your laundry!

Washers will lock and will not open until it has completed washing. Leave at your own risk though. Like all laundromats, be careful with your belongings!

The people that work in here are amazing.He has helped me carry more laundry baskets than my ex.Boyfriend did when I was pregnant. I go here religiously because it's clean.They keep their washers clean and not only the staff but the customers on and there are always helpful!

This place is not bad at all… it’s clean , machines work great and it is affordable. They offer a way to use your card & pay online or if you have cash there’s a coin machine for quarters (it won’t take bigger bills than $20) -  Unfortunately for me there was no staff or attendant on-site, and the number listed online does not work ; so I had to go to the penny mart on the corner to break a bill for change. Other than that : I  would recommend this Laundromat  if you don’t mind the nonexistent customer service.

Ultra Clean Laundromat

It's really nice! I like that the laundry is big, they have a lot of space, a lot of options for machines, and it's not cheap, but it's not expensive, it's a normal price. The place is clean, the personal is always cleaning it, and they have bathroom, tables, snacks, and it's calm.

Love this place. Any time I'm here it's always very clean. I always see workers/ owners wiping down machines and sweeping floors. I won't go to any other laundromat.

This place is great!  I take my clothes here regularly and always get great customer service.  If they think they can't get a stain out or if they can't dry clean it they will tell me and recommend a different method.  I had my wedding dress pressed here before the wedding and cleaned after the wedding.  It came out wonderful!  I decided to take a chance on J&J when I first moved to the area and I'm glad I did.

Great job cleaning the suit.  Docked them a star bc I tried to call before pickup bc I had forgotten my ticket that day, and the guy must have input my phone number wrong twice and then hung up on me instead of telling me no I couldn’t pick up without ticket bc my phone number wasn’t coming up in the system(he may have been very busy, not sure, bc he was talking very fast).  When I picked up the next day, my phone number WAS the same one I had given him twice bc it was on the ticket.  However, pickup was quick and the lady behind the counter was very nice, and efficient.  So I’d say, just remember your ticket for pick up!

$8.50 to wash and press a pair of slacks and a button down shirt. Not bad quality although the press on the shirt was a bit underwhelming and had a few small wrinkles. Friendly staff. I will go back, good experience overall

I am so happy with the service I receive from J&J Cleaners! They are very friendly and they do a great job. They pay attention to the little details such as creases on my uniforms and the prices are very reasonable.

BEWARE!! New owners will NOT take care of you! I PAID $50 for my comforter to be cleaned, and they gave it away! NEVER called to tell me it was ready to be picked up, and REFUSE to do anything about it. AND, would not even allow me to discuss it with them. Kept interrupting me and refused to discuss it!

Too expensive for the machines being old old, owner was extremely rude, needles and drug paraphernalia all through parking lot, blood splattered on sink and across wall inside, no bathroom, entire place needs an upgrade/makeover!! Never had an experience this bad when just trying to wash and dry my laundry! This was early afternoon, place wasn't busy and a few machines ate my quarters and weren't marked as being broken. Disappointed as this used to be my favorite place to go and I would fill all the washers on one side myself twice a week up until this incident! Stayed so long only because it was what I was used to. Super happy I tried out Spot Laundry though! The entire place is remarkable compared to the run down "Not-So-Clean".

Place is okay, but if they’re going to be charging the same prices as everywhere else, they could stand to upgrade a few things or maybe invest in a bathroom or something

The owner keeps the place clean and comfortable. Met him and he's very nice to my grandchildren and myself.

Spot Laundromat

The first time I used this laundromat was about 2 weeks ago and I came back again on Monday. The 2 girls working (Julie and Jalen) were so nice and helpful. Julie talked me through all the steps of how to get my laundry card and then offered the suggested that I didn’t need as big of a washer as I was going to use and saved me a few dollars per load. I would rate 10 stars if I could based just off the level of customer service provided! It was very clean, machines were nice and easy to use once I was shown how.

I love to bring my large blankets here. My washer at home can't handle a king sized blanket and this place has plenty of large washers. I love that this store is always so clean and staff is so helpful. The drop off service is nice when I don't have time to do my own laundry.

Very clean place,  and prices are reasonable. There is a bathroom, but the only way to use it is using the laundry card you have to get and place money on to use washers and dryers. Also, there are machines with laundry stuff in, and the other has foods and drinks in. Best laundry place I ever seen. Plus they reward you after so many times using the laundry card...it's a place that I will keep coming to to do my wash all the time

We come to this laundry mat on Salem Ave every couple weeks and it’s usually decently clean and has nice amenities but last couple times, we have noticed cockroaches crawling out of the thing in the center where the smallest washers are. They crawling in and out right where people sit at the tables. The owners may not even be aware of it yet so I hope they get that taken care of!

Also, if you’re using public laundry, please for the love of god empty out the WHOLE damn drier! Nobody wants to wait for you to fold your damn clothes to grab the last little bit that you left in there. ESPECIALLY DURING PEAK TIMES! (The last photo shows what I mean regarding leaving stuff in the drier. The Top empty one had an error code and the bottom two had other people clothes who were standing directly in front the driers folding the partial load the just removed. And no they weren’t not fully dry. I was here for the whole thing and the asshats didn’t turn the drier back on. Just lackadaisically hogging 6 driers while they sit there and fold during peak times.)

The owners are so amazing! I have been taking my laundry there for several years and letting them do it, I have never been disappointed. I drop it off one day then pick it up the next day and just bring it home to put it away!

This is by far the very worst dry cleaners yu can go Yoo they ruined a pair of dolce & gabanna shoes then proceeded to tell me they will not do anything to make it rite after acknowledging they ruined my shoes they are scam artist rude direspectful an unknowledable about wat they are doin unless tag tells them exactly how to wash I suggest no one go here they will screw yu

Very small very crowded. Barely enough room to walk through with hampers filled with clothes. One washer was broke leaving a customer to take he clothes out and she left a huge mess; as she put her soaking wet clothes in a trash bag and transported to the next washer. Laundry mat seats about 8 people. Smallest laundromat I've ever seen.

Brought in 6 loads of cloths to wash.  At 71 I have learned how to time wash and dry loads.
Getting settled in I could not believe how discustingly dirty this place was.  I found two good washers.  Lost $2,00 finding the second good dryer after testing four loosing money.
I small woman had a load of cloths destroyed because there was a foreign substance that, would have been caught had there been a cleaning before opening.
I held my self both bowel and urine for almost 3 hours because the bathroom was locked.  Sign posted not responsible for lost a stolen.
Another moved from a dryer she deposited money into because there was no heat.
30%-40% are machines not working!
There is no wifi avaliable no, password is offered as it used to be.
Not a very bright future if you ask  me,,,  so sad it used to be a lovely place to wash!

I always do my laundry here because of the really big washers. Today, when I came in, the floor had trash all over it. It doesn't look like it has been sweeped or mopped in over a week. Also in the bathroom was a cockroach. First time seeing that here.

Coin operated and clean. Felt safe and no one was really there. I was in and out in no time. Definitely would go there again if I needed public laundry facilities. They have games as well.

Came today to do one load and washer took my $3.50 in quarters,  but failed to operate. Timer was only thing working. Nobody there to refund me. Pretty shady operation. Find another laundry facility,  I sure will be from now on.

The people who are cleaning the laundromat are so rude. They had lint flying all over the place and I asked them to use the vacuum cleaner. They said we have to clean it. We clean it the way we like it…. if you don’t like it get out…. this is the way you’ll run the laundromat???and most of the time the coin machine does not work the dryers do not drive well I was just reading the Reviews and all the comments looks like they are copied and pasted same answer. We are very very sorry for the inconvenience. That’s the way you address the customers??? this laundromat sucks.

The machine to use to pay with card or get change didn't want to work.  I couldn't get any change at all and I used my card to get the the washer started after 3 tries.  Now the machine isn't taking card to start the washer and dryers.

I haven't been to this laundromat for a month now after using this location weekly for the past four years. The dryers left rubber marks and holes throughout my 800 count bed sheets. I have since called once a week trying to get a hold of a supervisor for financial compensation as these sheets cost $110 to replace. However, all I'm told is that the "supervisor will call me back."  Well, it's been over a month without the supervisor returning my calls and decided to leave a review for everyone to read instead.

This is crazy that they don’t check the soap center machine everyday,  it empty and it took my 2.50$ that a robbery,  stealing,

Visited 10/25/25. No hot water to wash your clothes?!? The only positive thing I have to say about this laundromat. Is the dryers get really hot which is amazing and helpful because it cuts on the waiting time. I used dryer 107.

Washing machine don't always work correctly. Dryers need to be thoroughly cleaned on the inside so they don't stain your white or light clothes. I had to rewash a large light colored item because their dryer stained it with a very metal stain and use a second dryer to dry it.  They rewashed for free but didn't pay for the re-drying. It's hot or miss on my experience here.  The rest of the facility is cleaned regularly. Floors, benches,  windows, doors.  Washers need cleaning and dryers.

Despite the "CLEAN FACILITY" posted by various patrons on the Virginia Ave.'s SPOT LAUNDROMAT, my wife and I routinely patronize this facility and find it is "usual" a HOG STYE.  Dryer sheets and empty detergent/softener bottles are strewn throughout the facility's floor and tables. These dryer sheets jeopardize the footing as it is extremely slippery.  I would assume this would be a huge liability to your company.
In addition, the floor is Sticky in most areas.

The sad part about this operation is the fact that there is NO ATTENDANTS that I've ever seen there, (unlike other facilities owned by SPOT LAUNDROMAT.

If there is NO FUTURE IMPROVEMENTS we will NOT PATRONIZE THIS FACILITY.

TODAY IS Monday MARCH 24, 2025. I am TRULY "AMAZED" that people who patronize the Virginia Ave., Hagerstown, MD SPOT Laundromat and comment that it is "CLEAN.!" We have been  frequent patrons of this facility and usually find it to be a proverbial filth hole. Again, I have pictures that depict overflowing trash cans, used cleaning paper and articles of dirty clothing strewn throughout the entire laundry mat floor, as well as discarded lollipops, chips and  partially used condiments. WE further observed laundry detergent spilled on  the folding tables and sticky floors  obviously originating from spilled soda.
In addition we have seen an obvious "homeless man" sleeping on the benches on at least three different occasions, (see pictures).  The last time there was a distinct smell of URINE emanating from this individual.  If you want homeless people to sleep at this facility, have them crash there in a confined location at the rear of your
Laundrymat

Just look at the pictures and, please don't tell us that this looks clean and is routinely cleaned by an attendant.

Also, it's obvious the owner of this facility, (who you referred my last complaint to), has initiated any improvements. Please ask him or her if they wanted to PATRONIZE THIS FILTHY ENVIRONMENT. Other potential patrons have come inside this place and did an ABRUPT exit, commenting on this unsanitary place.

WE ALSO DO NOT WANT TO COME BACK HERE AS WE FEEL THIS IS DEFINITELY A HEALTH ISSUE for us.

The absolute worst customer service everIt's been five minutes rang the bell four times and nobody has come out.

Absolutely the WORST place in Hagerstown!! They've misplaced my fiance's shirts and double charged him. They NEVER come to the door unless I yell back, even after ringing the bell on the counter. The gentleman is pretty nice and gets things done. Unfortunately it's the woman I've dealt with the most and something almost always goes wrong or she's neglectful. I won't return nor would I suggest it.

Best Cleaner in town. Always totally professional. Always on time and in 9 years never a bad cleaning or alteration...And I have been there every week.

Family Laundry

I would not recommend this place for full service wash. I usually use Spot laundry mats but decided I’d try this place. 1st, the hours for an attendant is varied. I was told to call prior to leaving in case there wasn’t a person there. I dropped my laundry off Monday. I forgot to go Tuesday. I called Wednesday and Thursday and no one answered so I didn’t go pick it up. I finally got ahold of someone Friday evening. They said if I didn’t pick it up that day it would be an extra 10 dollars. They are also cash only, which I wasn’t told at drop off. The laundry was also not folded as nicely as it is when I go to spot laundry mat.

The best laundromat I have ever used. I only use a laundromat once per year to wash and dry my large comforter. The machine was super big.The lady who has worked there for 16 years gave me a quarter because the change machine was down. (I was a quarter shy of what I needed).The owner came in on his day off to fix the change machine minutes after he was called. The service and friendliness was unbeatable.  The whole world should have their attitude and work ethic. Other customers were friendly and respectful to everyone.

I loved the whole experience!! Washing at a laundromat couldn't be more pleasant.. Free coffee, a wonderful lady on staff. Even had a cell phone charger to borrow, anything to be of help. EU ii cant do this place ii went in with all my clothes ready to wash..ii always spray the inside with pure alcohal but when ii opened the spot for they detergent ii just couldnt force myself to do it!! There was old nasty dried clumped laundry detergent from what looked like years of use. Just an unfavorable place period. Im going to stick to spot laundry!
