Fast, affordable and gets the tough jobs done! (Including for weddings) I had bought a used wedding dress where the seller lied about the condition of the dress and the sizing. The dress had glue on it that yellowed, a highlighter looking yellow and looked dirty. I took it to a few professional cleaners/seamstress and a lot of them said nothing could be done. So I had lost hope on this dress. My cousin found this cleaner on the knot and it was my last attempt. When Dan saw the dress, he knew the exact cause. He didn’t promise anything, he was extremely kind and honest. He gave me a very fair estimate and took it to test it before cleaning the whole dress. He also called me before he proceeded. Afterwards the seamstresses tailored the corset back the way I wanted it. Everyone was so nice and professional there. They were extremely fast, both the cleaning and tailoring. After doing some research, I brought my daughter’s wedding gown here. Although I live 45 minutes away and my daughter lives in another state (where I could have gotten it cleaned and preserved ),I decided Islip cleaners would be the best choice.
Yes, it is expensive to clean and preserve a wedding dress but I was expecting that.
They are professional, meticulous to every detail and I absolutely made the right decision bringing them her dress.

I called a couple cleaners because my coat needed to be repaired and I needed the coat back asap. I was told it can’t be done and when I called Islip cleaners I was told come in and let’s see what we can do. From the start I felt welcomed and reassured. I was helped by tom , Danny and Blanca was the real hero. Not only did she fix the coat but had it ready in a couple hours. Everyone was professional and I will be going back. Can’t wait to bring my other items in. Very trustworthy and competent company.
