DO NOT come here to have badges/ name tapes sewn into your OCP uniform. I had a CAB and Airborne wings put on my top and a name tape on my pants by this shop. Measurements were off and my CAB wasn’t even centered. Thank God I only wasted 10 dollars. There were multiple lines sewn and transparent throughout my badges and name tape. Never supporting this business again. I will stick to Kim’s Sewing and Cleaning. I would have given them 0 starts if google allowed it for reviews.

Monarch Cleaners

This is where I go to get all my sewing and dry cleaning done. They are very friendly every time you walk in, and can do any and all of the sewing you need. I had 2 ACU tops and my ASUs all sewn. I dropped them off around 1100 on a Wednesday and they were ready by COB Thursday without paying for it to be rush. They’ve always had every patch, pin, flash, etc that I needed. Great place to one stop shop everything you need to keep your uniform spick and span.

We have used them twice so far and have been very pleased with the customer service and the quality of the alterations they've completed.  They are honest up front when they know something won't work the way you expect it.  We told them to do it anyways and they were right.  We have only used them for our civilian clothes but I am inclined to use them for my military clothes in the future.

Something to note: they are closed on Sundays due to short staffing.

I recently purchased two dress suits that needed alterations. The prices were reasonable with a first-time discount, and the turnaround time was flexible. More importantly, the staff was friendly and professional. The lady that took my measurements knew different trends in the lengths of the slacks along with the proper sleeve length.

Ideal Cleaners

This word they say, "Ideal," I don't think it means what they think it means!

Had a stain on a shirt so my wife dropped it off at "Ideal" Cleaners.  When I went to pick it up I noticed they had a "$10 Minimum on Credit Card Purchases" sign by the register. I explained to the owner that I didn't have any cash and I almost never carry cash.  His unbelievable answer was that he would charge me $10 for a $2.66 service.

So they've lost my business forever just to avoid 30 cents in transaction fees.

I understand that businesses get charged fees for customer credit card purchases but that should already be reflected in the price of the service.  And there are other credit card payment options than refusing a customer a sale or requiring them to pay 4 times more than the actual cost.

AVOID THE HASSLE of "Ideal" Cleaners.  It doesn't mean what you think it means.

On more than one occassion, I have needed a rush for name/us army tapes as well as rush sewing jobs and ever time Ideal cleaners has delivered. The Korean couple that runs the place are great! I realize that in a town of service members, it is hard to meet the demands of everyone but Ideal Cleaners seems to keep pace. Thank you Ideal Cleaners, thank you.

I do NOT recommend I wasted $86 on my dress alterations for my best friend wedding they hemmed my dress so short in the back it’s unwearable they did the complete opposite of everything I asked the top was way too tight they made the front the length I needed but the back was super short you could see my butt I’ll NEVER go here again

Lost 6 pair of my husbands pants . Will not look at cameras or will not call me back at all .. will not look at cameras to see who took them .. several people I know had the same problem .. I do not recommend this cleaners

If there was a zero for customer service they would get that! My 89 yo aunt dropped her pants for alterations on 2/27/25 and paid in advance. She was given a date to pick up on 3/7 my sister went out there to pick up on the date and her husband has tried to pick it up and both were told a couple of days. I called before going today 3/12 and was told they were not ready and to come back in a couple of days. I told them why do they put dates on there and promised the clothes back and do not have them ready at the date promised. I told them people could have an event to attend and they do not have their clothes ready. He said that there is only one seamstress and I said well they should not put on the date if it is not going to be ready, he asked me if I wanted to call the seamstress myself and I said no that is your job. He hung up on me. I called back twice. He did not answer and I told him that in the near future, they should not put on a date if they’re not gonna have the clothes ready. I also received a call back from him and he said that they could not The alterations and that I could pick up the pants I told him that that is And they should’ve told us in advance if they couldn’t do it. Do not take your clothes there for Too many places in Fayetteville to get  your clothes altered!Bad business and customer service!

I dropped off my wedding dress for cleaning and preservation for $250. The first time it was returned back to me, the dress had been thrown in the box (with no folding, shaping, or care for the dress), safety pins showing, and the dress was UPSIDE DOWN IN THE BOX, and the lid was not airtight sealed or preserved. In fact, the employee took the lid  off of the dress box and agreed that it was not done correctly, and then offered to duck tape the box shut so that it would stay "preserved".

I left my dress again with this company to be redone and upon the two-week pick-up date, the dress had not been touched or worked on. In fact, a week later when it was magically "ready" after calling this shop multiple times, the box had now been written on, stained, and the dress was STILL upside down and unmoved.

At this point (3 months after my wedding) I asked for a refund. After playing phone tag with their employees and ultimately having to go to this shop I was able to speak with a manager. The manager then said that the owner would not refund me but that I could call back at a later time to discuss it with him.

In the 30-minute argument with the owner, I was informed that my expectations and standards were not eligible for a refund. He then proceeded to explain that I paid $200 for the dress to be cleaned (which it had not been) and only $50 for the box. After explaining the run-around I had received and the lack of professionalism exhibited from his shop he offered me a refund of $50 to cover the stained box.

The lack of professionalism, ownership, and workmanship in this operation is unfathomable. I will NEVER return to this organization and have lost $200 based on their many mistakes.

I turned in a 2 piece set with a belt attached to the bottoms to be dry cleaned. After picking up the items I realized that the belt was missed. I called and spoke with a young lady and she said that she would  look for it and call me back. That call never came. I called for two weeks speaking with the Manger who never returns phone calls after she says she will only to be told that they can't do anything be cause the ticket didn't state there was a belt. Why would I  keep calling back for a belt? I have the entire set! Moral of this review is don't business with them because  they don't take responsibility  for their mistake.

It’s not often I can say that I experienced excellent customer service but this location is awesome! They completed alterations earlier than the time they quoted us. They send texts confirmations for pickup. And on the day I went to pick up a garment, they helped us with a separate last minute request even while handling other customers. Highly recommend!

My husband took some uniforms to Monarch Cleaners last Friday to have them altered, along with cleaning clothes needed for an inspection. He paid almost $250, not just $40, and they promised everything would be ready by today, Wednesday. When we arrived at the agreed pickup time, they said it still wasn’t ready — to wait two more hours or come back tomorrow.

We’re extremely disappointed with such poor and negligent service, especially after sending everything early because it would be difficult to pick it up during the week. The least they could have done was call before the agreed time to inform us and apologize. Unfortunately, they’ve lost a customer due to their lack of professionalism and responsibility.

I go to Monarch for all the things I've needed in both military and civilian tailoring as they go above and beyond and do great work. My ASUs always come out in perfect, inspection-ready condition: awards, rank, boots - everything. Shannen in particular gives fantastic customer service, putting extra effort into making Monarch the best place to go near Bragg.

Only place I’ll go to for alterations and cleaning. They always sew correctly, uniforms are always nice clean and wrinkle free. They don’t have the largest selection of badges BUT they have most everything you need.

They have quick turn arounds, but you can pay more for an even faster turn around.

My alterations were completed beautifully and ahead of schedule. The very kind seamstress even gifted me a plant which I had complimented. You feel like family here!

Really nice people and  really do get you clothes clean and they're really cheap to go to but if you need it immediately like the next day they will get it done. My first experience was looking for a place to go to try and get my suit clean as soon as possible because of my family had a funeral to go to. Shockingly enough they had it done from that point on I was thoroughly impressed.

Hands down, without a doubt the BEST laundromat I’ve ever been to! It’s always immaculately clean, it’s easy to access, it’s safe, it’s quiet & the two gentleman that run it are phenomenal. The coin machines always work, the washers & dryers always work, they have soap etc for purchase, vending machine & working bathroom. I know they have other services such as dry cleaning, I’ve never used it but I’m sure it’s top notch. Last but certainly not least, the gentlemen that run this establishment go out of their way to assist each customer with such a positive demeanor. It truly is refreshing to come to Lake Rim Laundromat.

Best experience! Our washer at home broke so we had to make a last minute trip to the laundromat and the owner was so helpful and kind. He walked me through which machines would be best given the amount of laundry I had. I also watched him greet and assist everyone that walked into his establishment. If I’m ever in need of a laundromat again this is definitely the only place I’m going to.

I used this cleaners and the owner took my unit insignia and replaced it with another one. I showed him my pictures from a day before and he argued with me that I brought it in that way. After 17 years just let me say that he surely has lost my business and referral!

Great service.  Easy in, easy out. Love the text message letting me know that my clothes were ready for pickup. Even better, they were ready one day ahead of the anticipated ready date. Civilian suits and shirts look great.

I have been going here since 2019 for various Military Uniform needs, and she does an excellent job! She has shaved and shaped berets (better shaved then Gereal Jackson's) Shined my boots (got compliments from CSM), drycleaned/ set up my dress uniform, sewn patches onto all my uniforms and gear. It is only one person and she has been a little late on 2 of my sewing orders which wasn't a big deal as I just came back a little later or the next day. I was searching for a good dry cleaning service, the one near me closed down.  So far, everything I've taken to them for cleaning has far surpassed my expectations.  When my clothing is returned to me (in a timely manner) the clothing looks almost better than it did newly purchased.  I recently placed a floral linen jacket in their care that had been hanging in my closet unworn for years.  The jacket had become discolored but otherwise was still in excellent shape.  I took the jacket to CleanPression and asked if there was anything they could do.  The lady there said they had a "restoration service."  I tried it and my jacket is ready to be worn when spring returns.  I thought their prices a little expensive at first (no military or senior discount) but then it may just be that I hadn't used dry cleaning services for a while.  The expert handling of my clothing makes me feel the prices are well worth it, if it affords me longer use of some of my favorite clothing pieces.

Requested clean and store wedding dress for preservation. When I picked up, it was hanging in the regular plastic cleaners bag. When I asked about boxing for storage,  I was told boxing is not good. To hang it in a dark dry closet and I could put a clean sheet over it to keep dust off of it. Having had it cleaned and stored before in a box after my wedding 30 years ago,  I wanted it cleaned and preserved after my daughter's wedding. Thinking things had changed, naively,  i accepted the dress. Reading online, I see hanging storage is NOT recommended.  Bought a box on Amazon and packed it myself. When packing it up, I see the buttons are still dirty. All the beading turned yellow after the cleaning, which may due to the age of the dress ( but they didn't turn yellow when the dress was cleaned before my daughter's wedding). They may be a good business for ordinary cleaning, but do not recommend for specific requests like a wedding dress.

Pro Dry Cleaners

I've taken different items (dress shirts, dress pants, polos and an NFL Jersey) to this cleaners and all have come back, come back clean and pressed the way I asked and on the day they said. I have been nothing but satisfied with this business. Their prices might be a little high to some, but the service and quality of work is exceptional, especially for the area. The store front could be nicer, but if you can get past looks and rely on service, you're in the right place. I'll be coming in from Raeford to get my clothes cleaned here.

I have never had a bad experience at this cleaners. I've been going to them for nearly two years and have always trusted my shirts, suits, pants and my wife's garments to them. Recently though, I had an exceptional experience. I took two lace dresses and a baseball cap there and they came back perfect!

Now, some people might say "so what", but to me it was my FAVORITE baseball cap and one of my oldest. I wear it sparingly, but it's still gotten a lot of wear over the last 8+yrs. It came back basically brand new. Even the owner behind the counter was skeptical what they could do for it. The black had faded to a dull gray in some places. It seriously looks like a brand new hat and fits just the same as it did last week when I dropped it off.

As for the dresses, my wife says they are the kind of "cheap knock-offs that people usually only wear once because they end up unraveling after one use". She said they came back perfect and with no issues!

As for price, who cares to be honest. In Fayetteville it can be difficult to find quality work from people you trust. I say they are worth whatever they are asking.

There is a sign in the window, 5 shirts for $8.99, repeatedly over charged. When inquiring about it got nothing but attitude and jiberish.

I had a stubborn stain on a pair of pants, they tried a second time in order to get it out, that's  good customer service.

J&S Pro Cleaners

This is not a good cleaners, they messed up my clothes, and are now refusing to pay for my clothes. Be very careful about taking your clothes here. Hands down.
I am reporting J&P Cleaners to the BBB this Owner Edwin has no respect for other people property.  They can't be professional when you don't how to clean clothes.they don't deserve a star but had to put 1 so I can post my dissatisfaction

I was impressed by the customer service and appreciation for my business right away. When I dropped off 4 sport coats, I was offered a 5% discount for prepayment. Easy choice.

Then I almost forgot to pick them up the day they said they’d be ready, so I called late in the day to let them know I was on the way, and was met with an extremely polite response.

When I got home with my jackets I noticed how nicely they were assembled on hangers with a shaper and protective cover, and that they had included a “separator” which kept them from having to button them, helping retain a nice flat front.

Yeah. I’ll go back. In a heartbeat!

Always a great experience here!!! I’ve never had an issue with the dry cleaning or alterations. The     ladies that work there are always so much fun and so very helpful! They are in the process of extending their hours and they always get the clothes back so fast!! I highly recommend J&S!!

If I could give this place no stars I would. Let me just first start by saying that the old white lady who works there is extremely unprofessional. I dropped off a duvet cover and two pillow shams about 5 days ago and was told that i could pick them up on Monday and they would be ready. I drove all the way from Sanford(because i just relocated), and she tells me that they aren’t ready. So I politely said no problem, may I get a discount for being inconvenienced. She responds rudely by saying “NO!” I then responded by asking her if I could go ahead and grab my items and leave because I no longer lived in this area. She responded again by telling me, the items aren’t here but if I wanted, I could drive to a different location to pick them up. I’m specifically giving this place a one star because she did not for once apologize for me being inconveienced or offer a discount or future discount. The entire time, she rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders. I am very dissatisfied with this experience as she displayed horrific customer service. No one should have to experience this. Please do not use this place to get your clothes cleaned. The customer service is horrible!!!!!

I have been searching for a good dry cleaners and I have finally found mine. The lovely lady that works there or is possibly the owner is amazing and very friendly. The customer service is on point as I noticed the way she dealt with the lady in front of me and then myself. Customer service is extremely important to me and this place knows what they are doing. I am definitely going to be a return customer.

They saved my AGSU jacket from a bad stitch job coming from the alterations place on post. So much better. They are timely and professional with their customers. You get what you pay for, which is the best service you'll find for dry cleaning, stitch work, putting on pins, shining boots, etc.

The Ladies working there are a Joy to see and talk with.  Dry cleaning as a whole is still expensive, that's business

UPDATE: since they don’t want to be truthful in their reply to my review. I asked specifically when I dropped off my dress would they be open at the time the receipt they gave me says (5:45) and they said yes. You know it’s not true that you told me I could pick it up early or this wouldn’t even be an issue. My receipt said I could not pick up until Wednesday at 5:45 as well. I have the pics to prove as well as pics of the door stating regular hours Wednesday and closed Thursday. Also, the employee has a disgusting vulgar arrogant attitude, and the van pulled off when I arrived so that’s not true! You didn’t offer an apology when my husband picked up my dress just a nasty attitude, so don’t try to offer one now to save face. In fact you were happy to tell him you didn’t care about losing our business. This company has severely gone downhill since the previous owners who were amazing and professional and cared about the customer experience.

Absolutely unprofessional service. Dropped off a dress that I needed for my Thanksgiving cruise on Monday morning and paid in advance. The receipt guaranteed it would be ready by Wednesday at 5:45. I pull up at 5:25 on Wednesday (early) to ensure I was on time for pick up of my dress. Not only were they closed, they pulled out as they watched me arrive before time. The sign on the door stated that they would be open until 6 as normal on Wednesday and closed for Thanksgiving. I even made sure when I dropped it off Monday that they would be open. However they closed way before 6 (before 5:30). Now I have to go without on my cruise. Very unprofessional and don’t recommend at all.

My husband and I have used Monarch faithfully since 2006- even with the many personnel changes, lost items and mixed up items we hung in there! However horrible customer service is something I won’t tolerate.

Late last week I picked up a pair of linen pants that I gave instructions about how they should be cleaned. I tried them on to wear on the weekend and they were above my ankle. I returned to the Cleaners this morning and explained what happened. The employee was really passive and non chalant. She took them to the back and said that they were going to stretch them???? The pants clearly had been laundered and not treated properly. I asked for my pants back and for the Managers info. The employee offered bogus info; so I contacted another store where I was given the process for complaints! Additionally the second Monarch employee also offered an apology and tried to fix it! The problem is they are in Spring Lake. Anywho — Accountability and Great Customer  Service go a long way with me! Monarch- Thanks for the memories!

Sitting in the drive thru waiting for the employees to stop talking and socializing with the car in front of me is rude. The drive thru is supposed to be fast & convenient. It’s like both parties didn’t care for the other people behind them. Not good customer service.

These guys do great work.  Recommend.  They work hard and have been in business for decades now.

I love this place, the staff are respectful and helpful. My shirts and jeans are cleaned and pressed perfectly every time. If you want your jeans starched enough to stand up on their own, bring em here and ask for heavy starch. Definitely my favorite spot. I’m not sure why this place has received bad reviews before but if so, things have changed without a doubt!

Do not go to this cleaners. I went there simply because I live close to them. After they did a bad job on pressing and cleaning my clothes, I stopped. Usually I do not do reviews. However, this cleaners refused to fix a mistake they made because we did not have our ticket. This mistake was something they did in the past.

They double-creased my pants, which looks very bad. In addition, they were supposed to sew a button on my pants. I supplied them with the button. When I got my pants back, the button was not sewed on AND they lost the button. One of my shirts has spots on the inside of the collar, which were not there previously. I'd rather go somewhere else as opposed to having an argument. Also, there were spots on some of my clothes from the starch they used.

I have been going there for over 15 years. Mrs Anderson is so sweet and my clothes always look amazing....psst check out the few clothes they sell. Great quality.

I dropped off dress slacks to be hemmed. They were brand new never worn. I received a great deal on them. I purchased them knowing they were to long.
I stopped in to pick them up there were spots on both sides. The lady that does the sewing was out sick. I voiced my concerns to the older gentleman working.
I waited few weeks went in tonight I was picking up the slacks and I was going to drop off a Jacket to be cleaned. The spots were still on my slacks . The guy working brought it to her attention.
This lady if you would call her that after the words that she called me and yelling at a customer. This is uncalled for in any situation personally and especially running a business.
I told her she could keep the pants she preceded you have got to pay with a few choice words followed. Continues to curse at me saying I accused her of something I hadn't.
"I stated again they were brand new never worn period". Then all I hear was I remember bla bla bla her you saying something about the slacks . Yes I bought then too long what I said.
It's safe to say this place will not ever get my business any more period. This situation could have been handled very easily by just admitting there mistake.
Yet this Business Owner is ignorant of knowing manners and respect. This goes both ways in any situation. I would not ever use the words she spoke to me to a customer or another person.
Well I hope this helps shed light if you're reading this might want to reconsider. Then choose a different cleaners . NOT ANDERSON CLEANERS ON CLIFFDALE RD .  Beware. The date is 12/18/17.
