I had been using Riverside cleaners in my day-to-day life but I recently got married in July 2023 with a quick trip turn around after. The woman I worked with (I believe she's the owner - I wish I could remember her name) was friendly but quick/to the point when I had mentioned I would like to bring my wedding dress in for preservation. She hadn't had the materials needed on-hand but ordered them quickly and my dress came out perfect. Thank you for preserving something so dear to me!

I had a really bad red food dye stain from icing, as well as spray tan stains on a white dress. I took the dress in to town valet and the woman honestly said it would be difficult to get the stains out, but that they would try their hardest. She was very pleasant and we chatted for about 10 minutes about music, so personable and kind. When I returned 4 days later she remembered exactly who I was and became so excited to show me my dress and how they had (thankfully) removed all the stains. She told me how her husband had to clean it 3 times, but that it was all done. The price was honestly great and was an amazing trade off for my dress looking brand new. I really wish I had a before photo of how bad this dress was stained, but let’s just say the dressed looked better after I got it cleaned at Town Valet than it did when I bought it in the store originally. Very pleased with my experience!

Usually I will only post positive reviews because there's already too much negativity in the world. This place is average at best but they are pretty much a monopoly here in Conshy proper(the only reason I use them is that convenience. The woman at the front desk has no customer service skills and she berated me in front of another customer for using a credit card for my bill of less than $10. I understand that there's a charge from the POS company for each purchase. If the charge is too high, take the initiative to find another service and not take it out on your customer. She told me that next time she will charge me more for the service. I will tell you now that I'm leaving looking for another drycleaner and there won't be a next time.mot to mention that they are getting away with charging triple what I was paying at a certain cleaners in KOP.

I am new to the area and heard good things about this place. I received my items back today and I am very disappointed. I noticed my shirts were still wrinkly when I picked them up. I asked the owner about this and they said their machines are not capable of removing all of the wrinkles. I’ve never had such a poor dry cleaning experience and could’ve done a better job myself. Do not waste your time or money going here.

I just tried on another beautiful dress tailored by the owners at Scottie Cleaners after picking it up last week.  I am a longtime client and plan to continue to be one!  If you need a tailor for women’s garments of all fabrications, styles, lengths, etc., look no further!! So grateful to have them!  And the dry cleaning is the very best!

It's not hard to judge your dry cleaner...if your clothes come back clean and pressed, they have done their job. But the owners of Scottie's go beyond on their customer service. They always remember me and my name, ask me about my family and seem to always remember what we talked about last. Don't forget the holiday presents they give out (tea one year, lint rollers another...)!

Went to pick up suit between 6:00 & 6:30pm on a Monday asked to try on pants, owner copped attitude said I came to late refused to help. Said they closed at 6:00pm See hours posted on this site. Lost any future business from me! UPDATE: after my review the following day the store hours on this site were changed to close at 6:00pm.

I've been a loyal Ace Cleaners customer for almost 3 years, using their services monthly for dry cleaning and alterations. So, it came as a shock to me when the business owner said she could not do anything about the scorch marks left on my new sport coat handled by Ace Cleaners. When I initially returned the coat for repair, she attempted to have it dry cleaned again to remove the marks, but when I picked it up, the marks remained.

I informed her that the coat was new. She looked at me puzzled and said there was nothing she could do. I shared with her that I've enjoyed working with her, but that I could no longer bring my clothes to her business if they're going to be damaged. She said she was sorry, and that was it. She made it clear that she was not going to compensate me for damaging the sport coat.

I'm not going to pursue compensation over $800. However, she will lose more profit in my repeat business and customer referrals. It's unfortunate that a business owner can't see the bigger picture of retaining loyal customers. The business is good until it isn't, so beware.

Beware and do not come here. They ruined my $300 brand new silk dress by using (huge!) safety pins through the fabric. The multiple holes are now expanded and running down the dress. When I confronted them about this, the only resolution they offered is a refund on the dress cleaning (I wanted my whole order refunded, because I now need to repurchase the dress, so I’m out $300).

Update: they did refund the whole order, which I appreciate. But I still feel that a professional dry cleaner should know not to make holes silk fabric (there are pins and clips that are safe for silk, but that’s not the ones they used).

This used to be one of the best dry cleaners. I now have to find a new dry cleaner. From misplaced items. No communication on when things are done. Paying for stain removal that clearly wasn't done. I hope they turn it around but I will not be coming back.

I once got all of my white work shirts back with black grease on them. All of my shirts had to be replaced. The back of your ticket says they are only responsible for 5 or 10 times the cost of the cleaning not the replacement cost of the item. Horrible customer service.

Absolutely incredible work! I took in my grandfathers coat from the 1950's that had been in boxes for decades. It was filthy, ripped up, buttons pulled off, etc. Due to the sentimental value of it, I took it here to see if it was able to be saved. Not only did they fix it up, but they made this old coat look brand new! They did a phenomenal job, and communicated the process and timeline to me effectively. If you have a project, they can do it!

Jacques is the best! He has fixed a number of garments, including working a miracle on my great grandmother’s overcoat. It had some amazing shoulder pads — iconic yes, but I don’t have her stature and looked like a shrunken David Byrne in the coat. Jacques was able to alter it so I can be as stylish as Granny was, without being a caricature of her! :)

The dry cleaning is fine, but not worth the price. I was charged $27 to launder a light weight fall coat. When I asked about the pricing, I did not appreciate the owner’s manner. Rather than simply explaining the pricing, he became rude and dismissive of my concern. I’ve also noticed that he is friendly and talkative to white customers, but his demeanor changes when he is interacting with Black patrons. He lost a customer.

Racist… had more conversation and helpful to a woman who was white infront of me …but when it came to me for my dress to be hemmed was refused service…Sadly this was my childhood Cleaners. Broke my heart to not be helped.

Outstanding and loyal customer service. I paid for my 10 childhood teddy bears to be dry cleaned.. All are sentimental, and one was handmade for me.   Add in a 2 yr hiatus for my return due to illness. I didn’t even call during that period. On the rebound, I called to see if they still had my childhood comforts. THEY DID!!

He also placed them in a nice storage bag. They are now back home and are still smiling— so am I :)

The world needs more dedicated service such as this!!!  I will be better on my next time around now that I have my health back.

Very friendly.  I haven't used a dry cleaner in years so I'm not sure whether the pricing is reasonable.  I paid $18 for a wool pea coat to be cleaned and $13 for a pair of corduroy pants to be hemmed.  I was a little shocked at the prices but again, it's been a while so maybe those are competitive prices?  Regardless, I'm happy to support my local business.
